We drove out of our way to have lunch at the #1 rated restaurant in Batangas. We were not greeted with a smile and overall table serving was really lacking care and attention. Placemats left for us to set our own table. Knowledge of menu...was really poor as waitress could not explain anything on the menu. Nor did she try. The German beer was great. Food was solid. Ambience was lacking with no music. Was nice to meet the owner at the end of the meal, but truly good attention is needed upon arrival especially as were the only guests. Sorry, but can’t recommend. A good restaurant should delight guests.More

Father's Day Highlight

One of the best eats in my list. I had Hunter Schnitzel, youngest had schnitzel natural, eldest had chicken quesadilla, and we also ordered chopsuey. The food was great, would return for the quesadilla and schnitzels and the beers. The place is dog friendly and...cozy.More

Wide Variety of Selection

I really love this resto because it offers wide variety of food selection from around the globe. They have German, Mexican, Filipino and others. The food are certainly delicious with a very reasonable prices. If you will go to the City of Batangas, this must...be a try.More

Finally European food!

We went to a lot of different restaurants in the Phillipines.. but all the asian food got me a little too much.. so we went to El Torro. The owner is German and really nice. The place is a little hard to find, but the...food was really as home! very good schnitzel and crepes! Not expensive, so we'll definitely come back!More

Worst steak ever

Was looking forward to dining here after the reading the reviews but was so disappointed. We ordered a rib eye medium and what came out was a sorry piece of a lump of meat. Meat was cold, and not seasoned. We took one bite only...and did not finish eat for fear of getting sick.More

El torro experience

Must try!

Tried this place beacause of the good ratings and it did not disappoint. We had lunch here for the first time and we really enjoyed it. They were very accommodating and the food was excellent. I highly recommend to try their desert for the day....Looking forward in coming back here again. What a great place! 👍More

Great European restaurant

Visited with wife and 5yo daughter as the reviews were good, I can see why. The food is solid European fare with some Asian mixed in, service and hospitality are great and the price is great value. Would recommend!
