This is a must visit place. I feel that they have maintained the authenticity of their food. Without being overpriced or overhyped. It can be an adventurous eat nonetheless since I was not personally familiar with the taste and ingredients.

This is one of those places where it exceeds your expectation. Even if you have googled it and saw pictures of it online, being actually there is a different story altogether. There were 5 of us and we booked the Marahuyo Cabin. This is currently...their biggest cabin which can house 6 people. These are the 3 cabins which have the best view on the ridge : Hiraya, Amihan and Marahuyo. They have a book waiting time of 3 months. Our cabin had a bedroom, a loft bedroom and a sofa bed. Toilet and shower are separated. Water heater is good. Small fridge and electric kettle is available. Wifi signal is almost nil but mobile data signal is good for Globe and Smart. The cabins do not have aircondioning as the cool mountain breeze is enough to have you put on a light jacket. Each cabin comes with its own plunge pool and ours had the biggest pool. Wish it was heated so you can still dip late at night and not freeze your gonads. In between Hiraya and Amihan cabin is a raised platform where you can take wonderful pictures with the Pantabangan lake and Sierra Madre mountains as your backdrop. This expansive view here is the creme de la creme of your stay. It's just awesome. Whether you are in the pool or having a cup of pour over coffee or having your lunch, the view is just so postcard perfect. The property is of course a farm where they grow different kinds of vegetables. You can pay a certain amount (250?) to pick the veges you like. They have an in-house restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is relatively good, although not really special. Price is not so cheap either. You can also opt to eat outside near the town but better to do it in day time as the small road leading to the property is very rough and requires high clearance SUVs to clear it. Other places to eat outside are Hillocks Cafe, Ruby's Restaurant and if you want to splurge a bit - Soraya at Bali Highlands resort. You have to pay 800 per adult and 150 per child to enter. The 500 is consumable at the resto. Aside from eating there, you can also do some photo Ops as the place is very nice. Farmridge by Desmond Farms PROS *Outstanding location on the ridge *Very nice cabins with plunge pool *Well maintained property, garden and farm *Playground for kids *Easy 3.5 hrs drive from Manila *Parking area for sedans if you don't have SUV *Fair cabin rates (Rates on website is vat ex) *No TV, to let you unplug and relax. CONS *Guest services can be improved *Cabin inclusions can be improved like adding daily bottled water, etc. *Food prices can be improved. Ex. chicken wings platter cost 400 pesos for just 4pcs cut into 8pcs. A small plate of Caesar salad cost 300. Silog meals dro breakfast is ok at 150. (Note: You are allowed bring your own food) *Very rough road going up the property. Overall, the place and experience is very good. Definitely deserve a 2nd and 3rd trip back. *No TV fMore
Had mixed meats wrap for late breakfast. Enough for two when you order an extra wrap. Delicious cuts of marinated meats with fresh salad. Fresh brewed coffee as well and nice service.
Sabaw pa lang ulam na! Literal! Legit! Recommending this to my friends. Worth the travel. Well actually dito talaga yun pinakasarap na nakainan namin sa Baguio kahapon.
We had our lunch at this restaurant. The restaurant is a lutong bahay. The food are local inspired. The restaurant is small.
Had lunch with friends. If you are visiting Baguio, don't ever miss eating here!!! I think one of Baguio's finest delicacies. Very affordable for those who are looking for authentic Cordillliera's native food!!!
To me, coming to this place is the ultimate baguio experince. Not only is the food really really really good, its super cheap as well. We were all shocked by the amount we just paid considering we ordered to much as a group. While visiting...this place, dont forget to visit Tam-Awan Village too. A good hiking experince after eating. Pampababa ng kinain :PMore
This is the best restaurant Ive been when Im in Baguio. I love everything in their menu, from the price to the taste EXCELLENT! The only place I have tried authentic local cuisine like "kinuday" "Pinuneg" etc. If you want to take home your left...over, just add a fee for the container they will be using.More
Staffs here just drop the food quickly on your table without saying a word what is it. They simply dont say anything and food is just so-so. They just have the advantage of being near a tourist attraction with no competitors
Farmer's Daughter is the place to go if you want to taste authentic Cordilleran cooking. It is also right beside the Tam-awan Village which is a good thing if you are already in the vicinity. The food is presented in a way that is pleasing...to the eye and the tastebuds. However, it is not easy to reach the place without a private vehicleMore
