About as close to Grandmas Ozark down home cooking as you’ll find! Right next door to the Arc Residences. The meatloaf plate with mashed potatoes, gravy, collard greens, superbly prepared meatloaf, and biscuits was fabulous. Definitely unexpected in the middle of Baguio but wonderfully appreciated. Now, if we just had a Bluegrass band to play some music for us!

Great food!! I really love the theme and their menu. I ordered pancake and sausages and it tastes great. Just need minor improvements on seats and making sure saucers are available. The owner was there when we dined and he provides awesome experience. Their staff are all professional and warm as well. My dogs love their food as well!!!

If you're not from Baguio (like us), finding this diner will be a problem. We actually would not have found it without Waze. It's definitely off Baguio's beaten track. Like you're in the suburbs already. Woe to you if you don't have your own ride. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment for us since the food was not a good as what our friends told us. Or was it simply a bad day for the chef/cook? The chicken we ordered was dry and tough, as if it was left over from the previous night or just plain overcooked.

I ordered the meat loaf which was the best I have tasted while being reasonably priced. I also tasted the triple burger and the Nashville chicken which were also excellent. As a bonus the American owner and chef was very friendly and gracious!

Terrible place. The property is in serious need of maintenance; it doesn't look like the photos at all. The food provided was bland and didn’t add any value to the experience. For the price, I expected a much better quality stay—it's definitely too expensive for what you actually get. To make matters worse, the owner was quite rude, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We went here for a three-day staycation, and we booked their “clubhouse” room since we were a group of five. The pics on Airbnb made the room look decent enough. Comments from the host said that the room featured a modern industrial design and that its furniture was upcycled. I was cool with that since my wife and I like modern industrial interiors, and we appreciate upcycled materials. The place was nasty. And that's an understatement. The “modern industrial” design of the room was straight-up ridiculous, like a bad parody of a modern industrial room. For the owner, “modern industrial” meant the room was “unfinished.” Wooden and concrete sections of the ceiling were bare and untreated. It was so bad that none of our group was able to sleep on the upper bunk beds because dirt just kept falling on them from the bare concrete ceiling. I had to remove the “curtains” on the bunk beds too, because they were made of “upcycled” tarpaulin and every single one of them had mold (the rods they were in were so rusty, rust dust would fall on the bed when I moved them). My son has asthma, so he’s a no-no for mold (plus mold is a flat-out health hazard). Other “upcycled” furniture in the room, apart from the big dining table, looked like they were fished out of a dumpster. The chair and table in the bath were very rusty, and they could cut you if you’re not careful. Upcycling is good, but you have to clean and treat the upcycled furniture first before you use them (there are tons of these projects on YouTube). You don’t just get something from the trash, wipe it down a little, and claim it’s upcycled. That’s called dumpster diving, not upcycling. A modern industrial interior typically features exposed pipes and a bare concrete look. It doesn’t mean you just stuff plywood in places and leave it there (this is especially dumb in Baguio since it’s cold there and mold develops quickly). You have to treat the wood so it looks clean and it doesn’t degrade. You have to treat the concrete too, so it looks and feels nice to the touch. The same is true for the pipes. You don’t just leave your drain pipes hanging out without even bothering to paint them. As the cherry on top, the water in the place is from the tap since they have their own filtration system. The staff said that the water was potable, but the cleanest faucets in the place are in the sink area, which is facing a waterless urinal (whose filter needs replacing) and a toilet with no bidet. Needless to say, we were uncomfortable getting our drinking water from there. By day one, my skin asthma was in a full-blown attack. I was covered in hives by the time we checked out. All four of us in the group also had bad stomachaches by the second night. I brought my dogs, so we paid an extra Php 2k for their stay. We woke up dizzy from our stomachaches on day three, so we decided to just get our free breakfast to go. This incited a number of rude and condescending comments from the owner about how takeaway breakfasts are against policy (because we might just give them away to anyone, which really should not be an issue because the food is so-so). I ended up paying for the takeaway containers. Our total bill came to about Php 19k-ish for our 3D2N stay with two dogs and some stuff that one in our group ordered from the diner. We’ve used Airbnb for a long time. We’ve been around too, and anyone that looks at our profile there would see that none of our past hosts from within and outside the Philippines ever had a problem with us or our pets. I was pissed off at Ozark by the time we left. We were sick, the food was average at best (not a lot of flavor and everything’s greasy), and I honestly felt that we were ripped off. But I didn’t say anything. Ozark’s “clubhouse” was within striking distance of a family room in one of the mid-tier hotels in Baguio, but it’s at least three orders of magnitude worse. I could have just left our dogs with a sitter, paid the dogs’ rate for a three-day stay, booked a family room in a hotel, and we’d probably have spent less. Now here’s the interesting part. I hate drama. I don’t like calling out people for their crap online. So while I was seething about the whole experience at Ozark, we decided to not leave them any negative comments on Airbnb. Everyone knows that businesses could get adversely affected by bad comments online, so while we had a horrible stay, we kept our mouth shut. But the gall of the owners of this place. Despite us keeping quiet about the mold in the room, the rusty furniture, and our overall horrible stay, they decided to leave *us* a negative comment on our Airbnb profile instead. No private messages to try and talk about what happened, no “what can we do better?,” nothing. Just straight up put a bad comment on our Airbnb account. They even had the gall to say that they won’t be “inviting” us back again. So to the owner: What kind of messed-up masochist do you think we are? We DON’T ever want to come back! You gave us the worst Airbnb experience we’ve ever had, and we decided to leave you alone. But then you go out of your way to leave us a bad review? Eff. That. I don’t usually wish ill for others, but in this business’ case, I’ll make an exception. I hope your attitude teaches you a hard lesson! We returned to Baguio a couple of months after our stay at Ozark. We stayed at a midrange hotel and just as expected, we spent less. They were even pet-friendly. Oh and they didn’t complain or make a whole fuss about breakfast being taken out either.

Had dinner here last night with mom. Ozark has plenty of food choices and everyhting the we ordered taste superb, my mom who's super picky approves! I especially loved the mashed potato with gravy, all from scratch. And that peach cobbler a la mode perfectly capped of the night. Price is alright for the generous servings.

My wife and I searched for a breakfast place and this was listed as one of the top rated. One look at the menu and we decided we had to try it. I was very curious to see Filipino interpretation of southern comfort foods. The restaurant is small but tidy and nice inside. Service was a bit slow, we had to help ourselves to menus waiting for staff to greet or acknowledge us. My wife got the French toast and I got the biscuits and gravy with an extra sausage patty. The biscuits as gravy were good, I think a little more ground pepper would have made them great. Still good and I finished it with a very full and satisfied belly! But the French toast... The French toast was absolutely fantastic. Probably the best French toast I've had in years anywhere outside of homemade, it didn't even need syrup or honey. Definitely worth trying! Ordered the dark beer cheesecake for dessert, but they brought the chocolate sili labuyo cheesecake by mistake. A happy mistake, it was a great mix and we had already decided we would come back to try the Jumbalaya for dinner in a few days, I'll have my dark beer cheesecake then (Cerveza Negra is my favorite beer in the Philippines, so I must try the cheesecake!) Overall a good experience, the price is to be expected for the style of food and ingredients. We'll be back soon to try dinner.

We had a chance to visit Ozark an hour before they closed this weekend. We thought they will no longer accept us because its nearing their closing time.To our surprise they accomodated. When we started to order, the waiter said that the food is good for two.So we ordered their best seller .Chicken,Pork belly with beans and side orders of mashed potato. It exceeded our expectations.I recommend the pork belly with beans and the Chicken. They have huge servings as well. They even gave us a complimentary cake for the birthday celebrant. You have to google it for the directions for it is not within the city.

I've always wanted to visit this place when I read that, it's a pet friendly Restaurant BnB and of course, their claim for Authentic Southern Cuisine... They deserve the throne. It was indeed at its finest! DARK BEER CHEESE CAKE WAS TO DIE FOR! Hickory Smoked Chicken have the crispiest skin ever. I've also met the Owner, Kevin he's quite an accommodating gentleman. All in All, Tis really a good experience!

Thank you for sounding off. We appreciate your raking time to review our diner. What you witness may not have been a goid iverall experience in our diner. For this, I apologize. Do know that my staff are all indoctrinated in proper food handling and safety, customer service and inventory control management. It is the latter, inventory management, that is the bain of not just Ozark Diner but every restaurant in the world. It has been a concern for us that the Philippine restaurant culture is getting callous to the constant mistakes of missing items from the menu. How many times have you been to a restaurant, placed your order, then the wait staff tells you that the item you do eagerly picked is not available? How many times have tried ordering when the staff would tell you your order is out, as he serves your date's plate in front of her leaving you staring at the wait staff in horror. How would you like it that after sipping your first round of beer waiting for your appetizers only to be told it is "Out of stock, Momsir."? At Ozark Diner, we are determined not to follow this sad culture of missing inventory. So, when you witness my tirade at my staff for not calling out an item as '86' before being offered a menu, it hits a nerve. It hits me in my core to not be able to teach them how criticaly important it is to be perfect. Yes,vwe strive for perfection. Hard, you say? Not realky. I have half of my nine employees doing an excellent job In fact, more than half have been with Ozark since our first year. We are now on our fifth year. We never pay just pay minimum, we pay well higher than all restaurants in Baguio City. (I've done due diligence.) In fact, the last time i posted a for-hire ad, I got over 300 applications. Lastly, we provide jobs to the best performers regarless of diplomas. No one we hire has a 4 year college degree. Only 1 has an associate degree. Three are below High School levels. One is below elementary level. Indoctrinating them in the ways of an American-run kitchen is tougher yet. But, at five years, we have a great team. We have a wonderful team! I migth be tough on them, because no one ever took a moment to be their mentor to make sure they move on as skilled professionals as they grow. Thank you for noticing. Tough-love, they say, is real love.
