The restaurant ambiance is great and they offer a wide breakfast buffet selection. They had a mix of Asian and Western menu. The price is also reasonable. It’s a must visit for a nice dining experience when in Baguio.

I have always wanted to eat here because of the reviews of bloggers and the high ratings this resto are getting here in trip advisor and in google. So when we stayed from June 24-30, we had a chance to try LeChef. We were thinking...since we are already here in manor why not try LeChef, never minding the hefty pricetag. However, we are really realy disappointed. We feel scammed. First we ordered in room service for breakfast, beef tapa, daing na bangus, egg and garlic rice for 720php. The beef tapa is ok but the garlic it went with was burnt as in charcoaled garlic. Bangus is okay too but I do not think it is worth 720php. Sana nag pancake house na lang kami. But at the time we just thought maybe it is just one mistake. So we ordered again in room service truffle linguini for the next day's dinner. It was ok but I don't think the size and taste is worth 680php. On our last night it was raining,we cannot go out so we ordered lechon bagnet. This one was good with really crispy like chicharon and the mango salsa was also good. But the side dish was laing. We were in Baguio so we are atleast expecting some broccoli or cauliflower or french beans as side dish but no.really laing? Since bagnet was really good, we decided to have lunch after we checked out. That was a big mistake. The bread basket has some hard bread. We thought it was toasted but it was really hard. We ordered sinigang na salmon for 780php but their sinigang has bokchoy, cubed radish and it was not good. Sabi ng husband ko lutong aburido. LeChef's chopsuey was the worst. I am not sure if what I tasted was some cubed radish or turnips. It has cubed chickens, lots of bell pepper, 2-3carrots and bokchoy with the absence of the usual chopsuey ingredients like cauliflower and broccoli. It was 580php. Max's chopsuey was waaaaay better. On the other hand, broccoli soup and ceasar salad was good. But the ube cheesecake did not taste like cheese cake at all. For 250per slice, it just tasted like ube jam made into a pie. Not even a little hint of cream cheese or ricotta. We paid 3700php for everything. We felt cheated, scammed and robbed. We did not bother to take pictures of the food as we do not want to remember this experience. We could've had a better lunch somewhere else. We were willing to spend, expecting good food but an office cafeteria is far better than the LeChef. I was also thinking maybe we should've ordered steak, maybe that was their specialty. But maybe it was good that we did not order more expensive food on their menu. Baka naiyak lang kami kung nagkataon. There was really something off with LeChef. Like the ones cooking are not really chef. So sad.More

Unfortunate food was decent but service was horrible. Why does the Chef/Owner tolerate such bad service and very unprofessional staff. The Manor should consider having a better quality Fine Dining Restaurant in their faculty.

Christmas Decors were in full swing when we made a visit to Le Chef last October 2022. It was a long weekend so the buffet restaurant was extremely packed! We were seated outdoors – which would have been typically pleasant on most days; but quite...inconvenient given the strong winds due to the typhoon battering Baguio at that time. Fortunately, the tent was thick and strong enough to keep us dry throughout the dinner service. A seat at their dinner buffet service comes at an extremely reasonable price of P1650/pax. For their cold selection, the salmon sashimi was incredibly fresh that I helped myself to multiple servings of it. Various sushi rolls and salads are also available. Spinach Potato Soup and Sinigang Salmon Belly are welcome soup options; unfortunately, they do turn cold within minutes of returning to your seats! For its Carving selection, one is treated to tender slices of Roasted Angus Beef Striploin; unfortunately, the Baked Lamb Leg was on the tough side. Crispy roasted Pork Belly also wound its way to the station. Its pasta station offers Alfredo, Bolognese and Arabiatta as its sauce options; while its grilled selection boasts of stuffed squid, Spanish mackerel and salmon nuggets. Standouts for its hot dishes would be the Sauteed Shrimp ala Pobre, and Wagyu Beef Shortplate; while the standout dessert would be its unique banana foster station.More

Food is good but the service is ho hum. We went for dinner and I asked what alcohol they might recommend/ what brand they have. The waiter asked what rubbing alcohol they have Green cross or another brand? I said I am looking for a...cocktail recommendation like a mojito (they don’t have) they recommended a sangria. Went for a white wine but only one is available no more Australian wine. When getting the bill they asked me to sign then came back again because the 1st wait staff forgot to ask me to sign the 2nd copy 🥲 1st day of breakfast no one asked us to sign the bill 2nd day they asked us to sign the bill so we asked what happened to the bill of the 1st day? Food is good but service is spotty need to re train & have more training. Lots of colleagues running around in circles but efficiently is low ⬇️❗️More

We went on a Saturday dinner buffet at P1800 nett/ adult. Includes free flowing coffee and tea. Food was great- meat carving; sushi buffet; salad bar; hot dishes; and dessert. Waitress at table was very attentive. Bill payment was quick. Downside was there were not...enough dinner plates. I was eating from saucers and soup bowls. Can’t complain. It’s just funny thinking about it. For the price we paid, it was still worth it.More

Mixed reviews on food and wine listing errors and wine training on staff is lacking. The steak dinners were okay but the filet of salmon was horribly overcooked with a yucky sauce. They attempted to sell an inexpensive Chilean wine as an expensive French Grand...Cru wine. They rather I’ll informed and trained on wines.More

We had a quick trip to Baguio and availed of the buffet dinner at Le Chef to treat our nephew for passing his first year class in Mapua. The place is elegant and classically beautiful. That’s how I’d shortly describe the atmosphere and design at...Le Chef inside and outside. There’s little lighting in the garden area but it was enough to set a romantic mood right while enjoying the cool air of Baguio. As we stepped inside, we found that the ambiance is one that spots a rather relaxed setting. It’s an ideal venue to host an intimate family gathering or a memorable date. The food was great. We tried all their entrees, one of their desserts, and everything was delicious, tasty, appetizing, scrumptious, yummy, luscious, delectable, mouth-watering, fit for a king. Highly recommended. This is really my kind of place.More

Upon entering the amazing Manor hotel, turn left to the gorgeous Le Chef Restaurant. The view is just WOW. Food was very good.I highly recommend the juicy and tender manor steak on a bed of tasty baked julienned scalloped potatoes. Some of us had the...set menu. The sushis were good. The desert was not bad- but could be better. The bread basket was kinda dry. The beef Rendang and Biryani rice was so good. Piña colada saved the day- it was surprisingly warm under the tent during lunch. Service was so-so. The waiters were well trained but it looks like they were understaffed. But it’s ok- we had a lovely time with great view and good food.More

18 years ago, my wife and I had our wedding reception at the Manor. Even though it costs thousands of Pesos it was worth it just for the food from Chef Steve! Also the "Martinis" were perfect!! Last night we went back to celebrate our...anniversary and were very upset and won't go back again! What a joke! Ordered my usual Martini.....up with two olives. After what seemed like 30-40 minutes said they don't have olives. A bar trying to be 5 stars can't make a simple Martini?? I was thinking of leaving and now I really wish I did. My wife and son's meals were o.k. And that about all for the overpriced food that they got. At least they got what they ordered! I ordered a rack of lamb which has always been a favorite of mine being from San Francisco which is the place of top food. They served me 3 LAMB CHOPS. NOT A RACK LIKE THE MENU SAID!! If that was not bad enough they put some kind of gravy on it and it was terrible. More fat than meat. I took two bites and brought the rest home for the unlucky dog that would have to eat this garbage!! I gave them 2 stars. This is how it is divided..............food and service...........0 stars. We sat there forever and only when we raised out hand someone would bother to come by. Hotel staff and parking ger the 2 stars but actually they should be 5. I could have bought a lot of food somewhere else for the p1975!! It had NO taste at all. Like it has been in the freezer for way too long!! BYE-BYE fools.More

The waiters seemed liked trainees who did not know what they were doing. It took them more than 30 minutes to serve our bread while the other people who just arrived got their bread right away. Then they served my husband's tiny greek salad after...more than an hour, after everyone was done eating, even if he was the 1st one to order. The greek salad was just a small plate, as large as their spoon as you can see in the photo. I don't think it should take more than one hour to prepare such a tiny salad plate. Terrible service.More
