One of, if not the best spanish cuisine restaurant in Baguio City. The place is strictly for reservation only so be sure to book ahead of time.
As for the food, we went with a 6-course meal all were delicious and well balanced in my opinion, they also offer a variety of choices in which you customize to your taste. i always choose the pumpkin soup which is placed on a sort of bread bowl in which the soup, due to it's thickness, acts as a dip for the bread as well (which is always baked fresh).
The owner is always so accommodating for my requests. Hats off to you ma'am Raylene and Chef Carlo for always making our dining experience a memorable one.

Owner was very friendly and accommodating, we reserved the whole place for our family and she was very patient with menu revisions and inquiries. The place was very cozy and had a great ambiance. Food was really good and staff was very friendly. The dessert was also yummy! Will definitely go back. Thanks for the great experience.

To skip the hustle and bustle dilemma that a father's day celebration brings every year, my family and i went to cocina del sol. A small but very picturesque restaurant a few minutes away from the very busy and noisy city center of Baguio.
All i can say is that cocina went far and beyond our expectations. Food was great, everything we ordered down to their chili sauce were delicious. But the highlight of them all is their porchetta; crispy pork skin, soft and juicy meat! You can't get enough once youve tasted it. Not only that, we dined in a relaxed atmosphere, soft music playing in the background that doesn't drown precious chitchats with the family while enjoying the food. On top of that, their service is top notch, servers were courteous, attentive to our needs and were very accommodating to our requests. Will definitely visit the place again!

Impeccable duck that was so much better than peking duck and the wine reduction complemented it perfectly
Aligue pasta was also to die for and shrimp was well cooked. you don't often see well cooked shrimp in baguio so this was a pleasant surprise
Lava cake was also perfectly molten in the middle as it should be and we were well hosted with every dish on the menu explained to us. Wonderful experience.
tip though, if you aren't a fan of sour things or vinagrette ask in advance so you can adjust accordingly

Outstanding cuisine. A very European culinary experience in the heart of Asia. The food is delicious and highest complements to the chef. The smoked duck is delicious, the mushroom paella is amazing! The chocolate fondant and crème catalane both hit the bliss point! The hostess is very accommodating and really takes the time to explain the food, ingredients and cooking. The waitresses are very professional. The ambience and setting is really is tasteful and really nice. All of this combines to make Cocina del Sol the best place for fine dining in Baguio and indeed the Philippines!

Awful and Terrible Experience. The Ambiance itself was great but the food taste terrible. The Lamb was very fatty. Even the duck was not cooked properly. The skin of the duck was not even rendered it is very different from the pictures online. It was like a ham that came from a can. Food was very oily. We are even charged doubled from the food. We only ordered around 3.5k+ but we are charged doubled. Good thing we checked. We didn’t even hear any apologies. Staffs are even laughing. They even can’t tell us how they compute their discounts because we have 2 Senior IDs. These circumtances are not acceptable. They don’t even use or issue O.R. Does the BIR, DTI knows this? We are also charged 50 pesos mandatory service charge when we are not even given a proper service. Except, when they sang Happy Birthday but didn’t even finished the song. Took 1 hour for the food to come out. Very Bad Service. We travelled far just to eat at this restaurant because of 5 star reviews that we didn’t even experience. Awful. Very Disgusting. I hope it will not happen again.

Would recommend without any hesitation :) Cocina del Sol offers the perfect dining experience - excellent Spanish fusion food, generous portions, great ambiance and accommodating staff. The owners personally greet their diners and make your meal more memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC Spanish Cuisine, you should definitely try them out.
I’ve tried their Callos many times and it’s still THE BEST one I’ve tasted!
Great customer service too from the owners and staff, and I just LOOOVE the rustic ambience.
Just don’t forget to call them for a reservation since they don’t usually accept walk-ins because they’re fully booked esp on weekends.

Beautiful place and excellent food! Good selection of food. Staff were kind and attentive. Owners were very thoughtful and really made an effort to make our wedding dinner a night to remember. Flower bouquets were set up on our tables and our wedding cake was superb!
Location is far from Baguio town but easily accessible and worth going to. We had a very good experience! So thankful and happy I chose this for our wedding dinner.

“Mamma Mia” is the perfect expression to describe our experience at Cocina del Sol. The people are accommodating, the place is so beautiful, and of course, the food was incredibly delicious and mouthwatering. Thank you for making our Baguio trip extra special! 💓

It was my first time dining here and the experience was definitely memorable.
The Staff were so accommodating, personalised service and great food and even the last minute reservation was catered.
Thank you for giving us a good experience and we will for sure dine in here again.
This will be one of my go to places here in Baguio!

We had an advance reservation where all of the food was pre-ordered which led to a hassle free dining experience.
The highlights were the main course and dessert.
The rib-eye steak was seasoned beyond the senses could take and the ozzo buco melted my heart away.
The Crema de Calatan had a crystallized top which holds a custardy surprise inside.
A cozy ambiance with very mindful owners who make sure you're having the best dining experience!

Food, service, the experience is a perfect 10/10. We went to Cocina del Sol to celebrate my wife’s birthday and upon entering, we were greeted and received with so much warmth and hospitality by the team and the lovely hosts Ms Raylene and Chef Caloy. It was a good thing that Chef Caloy suggested to pre order our meals and as we arrived, the food was already served waiting to be devoured by a mob of 12. The dishes were plated tastefully and with elegance. Long story short, We went in hankering for something to gobble but left with a belly full and round, smile on our faces from ear to ear. ❤️❤️❤️

Celebrate anniversaries with a cozy & intimate (secluded & romantic for lovers) outdoor fine-dining experience in Baguio.
As the pandemic is here to stay, you can safely spend time with your loved ones and catch up with friends outdoors while enjoying good food & great stories at once.
Don't forget to try @cocina Del sol's mouthwatering 12-hour smoked beef & their famous Porchetta (5hr roasted crispy pork belly roll stuffed with herbs & spanish chorizo).
This is definitely one of the best (wonderful) choices for an Al Fresco dining.
**I would like to thank the host/owner who was very hands on with the successful execution of this surprise party for our mom & dad. For the time you took making that extra phone call just to make sure everything goes smoothly. 🤗🙏

Why is Cocina de Sol a must-try restaurant? It serves excellent heirloom Spanish dishes. Every item that our family ordered was delectable, especially the paella and callos!
The place is al fresco and has a relaxing ambience. We appreciate the attentiveness of the owners when we went there for lunch last Thursday.
Remember to make a reservation.
