I have to come back to this place and try other dishes. We ordered their famous lomo
ribs and the meat melts in your mouth. They are so tender and juicy. We also ordered chicken pastel and is another dish that taste so well. Their dishes are on a bigger serving so order only what you can finish.

This restaurant is one of few that keeps a fine track record in my own personal dining experience. Others have changed for the worse after a second and third try. Canto Bogchi had consistently delivered from our first up to our last return visit, which is just a month ago. I keep comparing their lomo ribs with those in other restaurants and it sets the standards. The dish I should say, fared better than more expensive versions at other places. It's simply delicious, with big servings and reasonable price. The restaurant is almost always packed with diners but by some luck, we always get our orders within a few minutes. I was actually willing to sit around for a longer waiting time. One of the reasons I also often book hotels along Legarda is the proximity to Canto Bogchi which to date had become my default dining place of choice, when looking for a different one is a difficult decision to make. I wouldn't mind, I actually look forward to getting my fill again from this restaurant the next time we visit the City.

I absolutely love this restaurant for so many reasons! First off, the Crispy Chicken Skin appetizer is simply amazing—it's a must-try! The chef also surprised us with a delicious Panna Cotta to sample, which was a nice touch.
Another genius feature is the pot they use to serve honey—so convenient and clever! The restaurant itself is spacious and perfect for large groups, and the food is consistently delicious.
On top of that, the service was excellent—attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to everyone!

Canto in Baguio is like that one friend who always throws the best parties and never runs out of jokes. 🍖🌟
First off, let’s talk about their legendary BBQ ribs. If these ribs were a movie, they'd win an Oscar. Tender, juicy, and smothered in a sauce that’s probably made from the tears of angels, these ribs will make you question all your life choices up to this point. Are you really living if you haven’t tried them?
The ambiance is a cozy blend of rustic charm and modern flair, with just enough wooden accents to make you feel like you've been transported to a hipster's dream cabin. If trees could talk, they'd probably rave about the decor.
Service? Oh, don’t get me started. The staff is friendlier than your grandma at a family reunion, and they seem genuinely happy to see you, which is a rare and beautiful thing in this world. They should bottle up their enthusiasm and sell it as a happiness elixir.
As for the food, it’s not just ribs that shine. Their pizza? A culinary masterpiece. Their chicken? So tender, it could probably win a pillow fight. And let’s not forget the strawberry shortcake – it’s like a sweet hug on a plate.
In conclusion, Canto in Baguio is the place to go if you want to eat food that feels like it was made by a bunch of joyful, flavor-loving elves. Your taste buds will thank you, and you might just leave with a bigger smile than when you arrived.

The food is decent and the ribs are juicy and tender with a smoky profile. They don’t have bingsu nor any typical ice cream flavors. The service is quite bad with the servers being unaware and sometimes they get a wrong order but they are quick with serving orders that were correct.

Absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service from queueing to billing-out. The staff and the manager were so rude despite us being polite.
Took over 1 hour and a half before the food came when we were seated, and they even forgot our lasagna which took another 30 minutes. Considering the queueing time before we were seated, our whole vexation took about 3 hours.
We tried to be understanding but this level of awfulness is just not acceptable, especially considering the price points of their food - which was also unpleasant. Please do not order the lasagna. Extremely overpriced for such poor quality.
Not to mention the staff were not accommodating and just down right do not care that we’ve been waiting for HOURS.
Do not waste your time and money queueing here. You have been warned.

I suggest you order only the lomo ribs. With sidings of salad and mashed potato very good though. . We dont like the crispy chicken skin, it is so salty and supper damped calamansi.The fried chicken is over fried. We ordered kare kare but they dont have..The hummus is so sour not recommended.

This spot is really recommendable if you go solo, couple or in a group. The place overall is really welcoming and fresh. Free parking is offered in front of the place. This is one of those restaurants you won't mind waiting a bit for your food. They have strong wifi connection. We tried the Roasted Chicken Quarter Leg, Lomo Ribs, Roast Beef Sandwich and their Hot Cocoa. Each one of them are cooked and prepared to perfection. Maybe they can add a spill when collecting the bill to ask the customers how was their food to get some feedback. But overall, the whole experience was amazing.

We went to dinner last night @ Canto. Five were in our party. Staff very welcoming upon entering the restaurant and throughout our meal.
We had no reservations and were seated within 3 to 5 minutes.
We had Caesar salads👍🏼, fried chicken, beef ribs, chicken pastel and ice tea.
The chicken was moist, the beef just fell off the bones, and the chicken pastel was tasty. (I really like the ice tea in Baguio.). We had extra barbecue sauce on the ribs, oh my, great meal.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
Thank you Chef and staff.
Definitely going back.

We came on a Sunday night (peak hours) and the queue was long (waited around 30-45 mins). Once seated, the place has a cozy look. Ordered chicken pastel and Lemo Ribs, which were both great. I'd be hesitant to come back again unless the queuing is improved though.

One of the worse dining experience we had. After waiting in line for a long time to be seated, we were informed that their slab is not anymore available. We ordered other menu and to our dismay, it was served for more that 45 minutes. Also, it was not completely served.
I will not come back here for awhile

this restaurant is implementing health protocols and has a great al fresco ambiance. the food that we ordered were all tasty (ribs, lasagna, salad, buffalo, pizza, nacho dessert) and the price is just right for the serving size. however, the service is not excellent, as we waited a little longer from serving of food to getting the bill and waiting for the change. also, some of the food that we ordered did not arrive (chicken pastel and strawberry juice) and some were not available (pumpkin soup and red velvet cake).
overall it was a nice lunch (thanks to the tasty food) but it is not worth coming back.

Overall the food was delicious, there were just some issues with some of the dishes.
Pasta was overcooked but had wonderful flavors; the standouts were the spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna.
Beef ribs were tender, the Lomo ribs were tough and lacked flavor.
Chicken Pastel was yummy, the beef pochero was bountiful yet the beef was tough.
Lemongrass iced tea was refreshing. Service was quick and staff were friendly.

Ordered the chicken paster and it was good
The Lomo is tasty and delicious, the side salad is fresh while the mashed potato is not so much.
Value for money is just right.
if you go there with full seating and you have a car, you will park at burnham.

Because of Covid, we were finally able to try this resto. No long lines just to try their food. Health protocol are in place and they even control how many person per table. We were six and we needed 2 tables. Food is very good. We tried their meatloaf with mashed potato, callos, wings, all meat pizza and we enjoyed ALL of them. Worth the price. 👍👍
