We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at this gem of a café restaurant tucked away in Hoi An. We started with an amazing avocado salad with grilled shrimp (75 VND). It was so good that we ordered a second one. Our main courses were a noodle dish and a rice dish. Each were 100 VND and also very good. We topped the meal off with a sensational lemongrass ice cream (35 VND). There was also a large variety of drinks available. Cute, comfortable place. Service was a little slow but the servers were friendly and spoke decent English. It was less crowded on this restaurant’s street especially compared to the rest of downtown Hoi An.

If I wasn’t traveling alone with a picky 5 year old, I’d frequent this place. Calamari pomelo salad was like whoa. I had a glass of wine & 3 courses & my total bill was less than $15. Seriously. Eat here. I am celiac & felt completely comfortable. English speaking staff knew what gluten was & was able to spout off all ingredients. 👊🏼🤗

Small but nice menu. We have been there twice to eat and were both times enthusiastic. The dishes are very fresh and always have a certain extra. The waiters and waitresses were also always nice and specially on the first floor on the balcony it is very nice.

I went in with my friends and was first alarmed by all the white people in the restaurant and thought to myself if this is really an authentic Vietnamese place. Because of all the good reviews, I swallowed my doubt and waited a little for a table. Unfortunately, the food does not live up to my benefit of doubt. We ordered the noodle, chicken rice, vegetarian rice, and the pomelo salad. The food was bland, they took away the essential elements of Vietnamese cuisine and instead did a bland version of food for European and American taste - in some ways, it became a mediocre ill-attempted Vietnamese flavored food. I left deeply disappointed by the cooking and disturbed by the so-called “local” cuisine that’s made to cater to the tourists. If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, please don’t come here. It’s really just for white people who can’t take authentic Vietnamese food.

Terrific food in a funky setting. We enjoyed fresh spring rolls plus an avocado and prawn dish which was delicious. Good value for money and some unusual items on the menu, plus well priced wine list. Sister restaurant, Sea Shell, serves the same menu with similar success. Definitely worth a visit.

Three of us had a wonderful lunch there two weeks ago as we walked through Hoi An on a lovely day. The food was really delicious. They had a good selection of food as well as beverages. It's elegant for its size and location yet the prices are super reasonable - figure about $5-10 for your meal, including beverage.

Really nice hidden restaurant in a side street of the old town. Had to wait for 10min because it was so packed, it was worth the wait! The steamed buns and the chicken were really good! The portion sizes are small and you‘d have to order starter, main and dessert to be full. But still very reasonably priced (24€ for 2 people with starter, main, dessert, 4 beers).

Amazing food but Note: they DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS. The food was so tasty and fresh, it was clean, not greasy. The dishes were simple, relying on good ingredients to bring the flavor. I will return here again (and again.)

Food here is to die for. If you are staying in Hoi An, you have to do add this restaurant on your list of places to check out! Especially the steamed buns and the pork ragu noodle dishes were pure perfection. This is a really small place so come early. You might also want to know that it closes rather early so if you wanna check this place out eat a bit earlier than you are used to. Also, the prices for a three course menu are on point here. Would highly recommend!

Walking into this place I was expecting simple and hearty Vietnamese meal. However it wasn’t what I received. The meal was very modernised and isn’t the type of food I like to eat. If you are looking for more of a simple meal visit long com ga, which serve amazing chicken and rice. If you like modern viet food visit nu eatery. Overall I thought it was pretty average as it isn’t the type of viet food I like to eat

We had a wonderful meal at Nu eatery. While the menu is small everything we ordered was exceptional The Bao buns and the chili lime prawns are to die for as was the lemongrass ice cream. Very reasonably priced and a lovely family atmosphere. Try and get a balcony table if you can.

Tried different appetizers and main courses, and every dish was delightful. The main courses are quite small so would recommend to buy two if you don’t by appetizers. But that’s not a problem because the prices are great also! Best place we have eaten so far in Hoi An!

This restaurant is hidden in an alley way close to the Japanese Bridge. It is a small restaurant with a limited menu, We tried different appetizers and main courses, and every dish was delightful. The main courses are quite small but are suffucient if you order a starter and a dessert. The food was fresh and good and the cheesecake and Lemon grass ice cream are essential! Service is very friendly. Thank you.

Incredible food, but we had an extremely bizarre and disappointing experience with a staff member. We were staying in Hoi an a week and went back to Nu Eatery multiple times (I used to go back in 2019 with family and wanted my partner to experience it). The food was always delicious and on our last evening we decided to go back and get all of our favourite small plates to share (kind of the point at a restaurant like this when the plates are so small). You see lots of people ordering 5 or 6 small plates to share (plates include one tiny bao bun each, or three small prawns on a crostini). We ordered 4 of our favourite small plates to share and the waitress, fairly judgementally said ‘I think this is too much’ and made it very uncomfortable for us to order. Firstly, I did not appreciate her comment as for many that can be quite triggering and it just doesn’t make you feel good right before you enjoy a meal. And secondly, surely a restaurant should be thrilled guests like their food so much that they want to keep coming back to order more. I understand nobody wants food waste, but 4 small plates to feed two hungry tourists (one of which is 6ft6) isn’t a lot. I was disappointed, embarrassed and borderline upset and this interaction. The food is great but I don’t believe a restaurant should place opinions on guests like that. It wasn’t ok. Please address this with your staff so the same thing doesn’t happen to someone else. It’s a shame as it’s a good restaurant but that staff member didn’t make our last night memorable for the right reasons.

Loved everything about this place. The food, the house, the atmosphere and the friendly staff. The food was so tasteful with lots of herbs and delicious combinations. Totally recommend the cumin carrot salad and the chicken and rice main. Definitely one of the best places in Hoi An ancient town.
