We had an early cruise at Uncle Sam's... they share a parking lot with Riley's, so we stopped in for their breakfast tortilla bowl that I had heard so much about... it was awesome!!! Try it meow... not later, right meow.

Margarita mango to start,by Jared the bartender was the best.2 later my husband and I ate mozz sticks with the best spaghetti sauce ever.then I had a hamburger in a quesadilla with avocado, cheese , and tomatoes.seasoned nicely.justin made that ,the broiler cook.mozz sticks done by...jessi.my husband had the chicken riggies.they were just right but my husband likes his extra spicy and that Claude does.the smell of the pies done by Heather the manager made you feel like you were home.the waitress catlin was so sweet and she did well at her job.they do teams so Breanna came out to check if we needed anything else.how everything was and have to tell you they make a great team.anyone that wants a great experience needs to have these waitress catlin and breanna.need to try the new menu and the great cooks are a comfort, but to start it out with the bartender and the best all around was a maken of a great evening.thank you to management kim and Heather.this was great ,thank you to the staff of Riley's.More

Before being seated I explained to the hostess that I have Celiac disease and asked if they had gluten-free options. I was told there would be some items on the menu that would be safe. After being seated I asked to speak with kitchen staff...so they could tell me my options. I was told the broiled haddock with mashed potatoes and the veggie of the day would be safe. Even before eating the meal I was disappointed that service was super slow, people coming in after us were being served before us, and when our food finally did arrive mine was cold. Then about 15 minutes into the meal (my normal reaction time to gluten) I realized I had been contaminated. My reaction clearly made my hand swell and become discolored. They didn't care. The waitress charged me full price for the meal that I couldn't even finish eating. When I asked to speak with management they flatly denied that their food contained any gluten and wasn't cross-contaminated. They acted like it was my fault. I will now be sick for several days and they could have cared less. I have never been treated so badly. Beware if you have an allergy or autoimmune disease. They don't take it seriously.More

Excellent spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a great bar for drinks. One of the best pub/bars in Alexandria Bay, New York.

Stayed across the street at Captain Thompson's. My wife and I went for breakfast. Worst experience for breakfast that we can recall. Poor service and food. The waitress acted like she was doing us a favor. My bacon omlette was greasy since it was wrapped...inside the omlette and not pre-cooked separately. So, the bacon was rubbery and way under cooked. So, between the serive and food, they have earned this rating.More

We were celebrating my husband’s parents 65th wedding anniversary. There was 10 of us. We spoke to the manager Heather about getting a special desert for our parents. She said no problem. Our waitress Penny did an excellent job with all of us. Penny was...fantastic. They brought out 2 desert with candles on it for our parents. Also Penny took pictures of the entire family for us. Great food and fantastic service. Thank you Penny for making our evening special. The Truman’sMore

Worst service I have ever experienced in the US. Asked for a dish without bacon and even though it came with bacon and we replaced the dish they still charged us full price, even the extras. The meal that eventually came was edible, not more...than that. A shame for a place like that to treat its costumers like this.More

This is the best place to eat in this area, including all of Clayton and Alex Bay. We found this by accident for breakfast on day #2 of our vacation and went back the next day for breakfast again. Compared to every other restaurant in...the area, this was by far the best selection, best pricing, best service and best quality and best view. The portion sizes were spot on and the prices were very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. If you are taking one of the tour boats in Alex Bay, this is the best bet for breakfast or lunch.More

Menu changes were very disappointing. Can't believe a waterfront restaurant doesn't have crab cakes. And would hope to see a few things on the menu that I can't get anywhere. And not even a burger option for kids?? Won't be back.

Went in at 12.30pm on July 5. We’ve been several times before but this time was very disappointing. They seemed incredibly short staffed with plenty of empty tables but no one to serve. We waited almost an hour for a table. They use a paper...system for allocating tables and a paper list for people who were waiting for tables and it seemed very disorganized.More

Absolutely well worth stopping to enjoy, as we did, breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Food choices were very good. Our servers were Sue and DJ. Great personalities and we were fortunate to meet the chef, Cindy. The bacon omelets were loaded with bacon and served with...home fries. Delicious! Bacon jam burger and the chicken sandwich were excellent. We will definitely eat there when returning to Alex Bay.More

If you're in Alexandria Bay for one of the tours, you can't beat this restaurant's location for convenience. The restaurant was clean. Our server was exceptionally friendly and fast - and provided good advice on what to order (when asked). My wife ordered the fish...sandwich and was surprised by the huge portion. I ordered the beef dip - but was disappointed by the soft, tasteless bun and bland roast beef. The au jus had no flavor. Overall this was a nice restaurant and I would give them another try.More
