To get here, you would probably need to hire a driver because the extremely high slopes (with space enough for probably only one vehicle to pass at a time) would send the shivers down most foreigners spines if we attempt to take them on in the driver's seat. It was great fun to dine on top of a kelong, and... More

35 mins drive from Harris Resort Waterfront City. Rented 7 seater car with driver from the resort at IDR450,000.00 (approx SGD50.00). Driver drove us to Barelang Bridge 1,2 and 3. Let us alight and take photos. Nice timing to watch the sunset at 4.30pm Batam time. Ate BBQ corn by the roadside. Driver recommened Citra Utama and indeed it is... More

The location of this place is pretty far end, at Barelang area. It is like a hidden treasure. To reach this place, it is down the slope journey by vehicles on a very narrow road. Its a kelong style dining, no aircon but still feel comfortable despite occasional flies flying around you. I just love the part when I got... More

Kelong style dining (no aircon) with very fresh seafood. Went with family of 12 and the children were very excited as they went to pick the seafood to be served. Ordered Steam fish and it's nice and very fresh. Scallop was good too. The rest of the food such as sambal kang kong (quite spicy), vegetables, omelette, chicken n hot... More

Great to actually go and pick the seafood you want from a variety of live seafood. The location is a bit hidden keep an eye out for the sign by the roadside then a drive down to the waterside. Went on a weekday, was quiet, so the meal came out quickly and was tasty.

Food were fresh but the style of cooking was mainly too dried and did not really taste good. A little pricey. However a good experience at this kelong. Of course the food here is definitely better than 933 or 555.

Fresh seafood was definitely served here as you got to select the range of items you wanted from the Kelong... Food was also reasonably priced and affordable. The view of the the first Barelang bridge and the sea breeze made the meal more enjoyable!

Not just is the food good, is cheap. We had a fish, a lobster, scallops, veggy and drinks, all for Rupiah810,000 (SG$81). This place has sea view but only in the day. Also is advisable only to go in the day, while the drive is abt 40mins away from the city, in the nite the road has little or no... More
