If you’re reading this review you’re considering going to Haven - stop considering and go! The name ‘haven’ is apt - the restaurant offers a peaceful garden area planted with frangipani and other greenery (and nice indoor area too) to have your meal. There’s a...variety of Asian and western dishes on the menu priced from $3 which is incredibly good value given how fresh and good quality the ingredients clearly are. I tried 2 dishes from the sharing menu - the somlor n’chou kroeng which was full of flavour (and actually was a meal without needing another dish!) and also the Bok kapi - a yummy platter of all sorts of veg and omelette, with a very tasty (and be warned: very spicy) crunchy dip. The menu has plenty of options to suit vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. If I’d had more room I would have liked to order the Oreo cheesecake too! The fact that this restaurant supports training and employment for disadvantaged youth from the siem reap area is the cherry on the cake. And finally they are taking proper covid safety measures (temperature checkin etc). Book your table now!! :)More
