We took a taxi all the way through the city to get to this little cafe, hidden away in a nice little courtyard. It looks quite trendy and is a great initiative as it is basically tied with a pastry school in which young locals...are trained to work in the kitchen and restaurant service. However, unfortunately, we had a pretty bad experience. We were 9 (so yes a lot of people but still) and all took the brunch menu which includes a drink (smoothie, coffee/tea), fruit salad, panini and a pastry/dessert. So a lovely set menu we were all very hungry for and waiting eagerly. However it took forever for the food to come: 30mins for the first drink to arrive. in the meantime, another couple and another family of 4 arrived after us and were served before us!!!!!! Understandably we were all frustrated and getting angry and yet our food and drink still came incomplete, with missing or wrong orders about 45-1hr later. This is not acceptable for a cafe in which most of the food items are already premade!! However, we did realise and appreciate the ethos of this little cafe, in its efforts to train and engage a greater proportion of the local community in the service sector. We accepted the fact this business was only new and trying to develop for the benefit of the community - and actually this is what should be valued. So it is for sure not anything close to high-end service, but if you want to make a contribution to the local economy and taste some very nice pastries then this is the place!More

Dear chlotravelstheworld Thank you for taking the time to comment. We are happy that you appreciated the atmosphere and the spirit of our little cafe. We are really sorry for the time you had to wait for your food. We are a school, and sometimes,...More
So glad we found this place. It isn’t the easiest to find being down several small alleys off the beaten track, but is well worth the hunt. The whole mission behind the bakery is wonderful, all about helping a small number of students each year...make something of themselves and supporting them through education....and doing that by providing us with reasonably priced and delicious cakes and drinks - what isn’t there to like! We ordered ten brunch deal between 2 of us which gave us 3 items of cake/cookie, a fruit salad a 2 drinks. We had he ginger/cinnamon cake, banana muffin and chocolate cookie. Accompanying that we had a fresh fruit salad, a smoothie and a fresh coconut water in the coconut. All was superb and for only $8! Total bargain Staff were very friendly and quick to serve us. Massively worthwhile cause and a lovely cake and drink stop. Check it out!More

A little piece of heaven hidden behind flowers and palms! Absolutely lovely place for breakfast and brunch! So many details and the entire concept make this a beautiful experience!

went for morning coffee and pastry as the start of my birthday celebrations. They host 20 underprivileged girls per year and teach them the art of pastry making and then place them in hotels/restaurants throughout Cambodia – a great initiative. The lemon meringue tart and...coffee were superb as was the banana muffin. Lovely setting and well worth a visit.More

The food was frickin’ amazing and had no faults whatsoever. The Lemon Meringue Pie was phenomenal and the Salty Croissant with ham and cheese was delicious. It’s for a good cause as well so you definitely should visit.

The cakes are delicately delicious, a must visit. We had the mango le natan, it was equal parts beautiful and tasty, and the banana bread which was light and nutty.

Stopped in and had an iced Latte with a mango coconut pie. Very tasty. A few other things I would like to try on the menu so I’ll probably be back
