Very nice place with good food. Finally authentic Italian food! I ate a really good lasagna and my boyfriend ate an amazing pizza. The staff were kind and helpful, and were good at English. I would very much recommend this place!

As Tyrolians we are very firm in Italian Cuisine and therefore it's not easy to convince us with "Pizza" or "Italian Pasta". But this restaurant is offering real Italian dishes - great pizza, salad, pasta and also desserts. Had dinner twice in there :-). Prices...More

This restaurant is located down an alleyway off Pub Street. It's a pretty basic looking restaurant, wooden chairs and tables, nothing flashy or even very comfortable for that matter. The food was decent, so if you have a hankering for Italian, and don't expect much...More

Went 3 times in 3 weeks, each time the pizza and service was good. Very thin crust, generous toppings. Reasonable prices. Many standard Italian dishes on the menu (lasagna, etc.) but we had only the pizza. The frozen tiramisu for dessert was tasty.

Greatly surprised to find this super and authentic Italian here in the somewhat touristic area of Siem Reap. Excellent menu, including daily discuss, even for a vegetarian like me. Really appreciate that they don’t disparage vegetarians with merely side dishes, salads and soups. There were...More

Description
We created Il Forno in 2011 after many years dreaming of opening a traditional Italian Restaurant outside Italy where we would serve authentic Italian food like our grandmothers used to cook. The only addition to our grandmother's kitchen was the building of an original stone brick fire wood oven from where to make pizzas according to the southern italian tradition. We pride to import every single ingredient ( veggie & fruits aside)on our menu directly from Italy and to make all our food home made and fresh daily. Our fantastic team of chefs/cooks start their day very early to prepare our pizza dough that need 10/12 hours before its naturally risen and to prepare home made tagliatelle, tortellini , gnocchi and so on , exactly like we used to in Italy half a century ago.
