The Cocos Club also doubles as the towns cyclone shelter, but is the only pub/tavern on the West Island. It is a pleasant place to visit with drinks at a reasonable price. Staff were all very pleasant and friendly, and locals there are more than happy to cut with you and provide information on the island. On Tuesday nights it is packed with both locals and tourists for their Chicken Parmi's which were delicious and inexpensive. It is next door to the airport which makes it a great place to wait for your flight when it is delayed.

Great club for socialising and meeting new friends and getting advice from locals about attractions. We landed on Tuesday which is Chicken Parmi night at the club (and the only night they serve meals) and we were not disappointed. Reasonable price and a big serve on our plates which was delicious. When our flight home was cancelled the following Tuesday, we were very excited about having another Chicken Parmi, but unfortunately, they had run out of chicken so the meal was cancelled. Disappointing, but with the remoteness of the island, getting food and supplies here is not always easy. Well, we know where to go when next visiting for a great chicken parmigiana

We mostly ordered food at Salty's cafe and they would bring it in to the club for us. The club doesn't do food except on Saturday nights they often do a chicken parmi (or veg option), it will be on the board outside and order at the bar. They have a happy hour from 5.30 - 6.30pm every day, except closed Mondays. Duty free spirits are available at the club.

Nice enough but the decor could do with updating. Wine selection was excellent, service was good and the beer was cold. It's also the only place to get a drink on Cocos so the prices were surprisingly reasonable, or maybe not so surprising as the locals drink there as well.

Good and only place for the purchase of alcohol on Cocos. A bit of a rough bar but more than made up for with cheap Duty Free drinks and cocktails. Happy hours are excellent value. Also offer take away products. Can order in meals to eat at the club. Social Hub of West Island.

We enjoyed out multiple visits to the social centre of West Island - the tavern. Friendly staff, good prices and Saturday night's parmi and chips were great. Only problem was the singer on Saturday night was way too loud - he shouldn't have asked one of our group if the sound levels were OK as the bloke he asked had left his hearing aids in his room! Otherwise, very happy to recommend the Club.

Nice cocktails one day a week I think. Happy hour. Very relaxed. Can get food from Sally’s cafe next door delivered.

Opens most evenings from around 16:00
Order and pay for meals and drinks at the bar, take your drinks back to where you are sitting then take the meal chit to the kitchen. Kitchen staff will deliver the meals to you

Lots of great people around all very friendly. The Tuesday Parmi is fantastic and to die for. All fresh and overall good priced compared to Supermarket or other dining places

it was ok, clean and outside seating. More a storm shelter with a bar than a local pub you actually want to spend time at. BUT there is no alternative on the islands so what to do.

We visited Cocos a while ago and the club was the hub on the island. The staff don't seem happy to be there and it needs some energy to give it a boost. The drinks are duty free which is a bonus!

Get bar and friendly staff, drinks are reasonably cheap, the place is central to the island but the busy nights tend to vary, the customers are always chatty, well worth a visit, best thing No internet, peace and quite.

Cocos Club is the place to be every afternoon, and everyone seems to gather here for a drink or 2, and some nights even a bite to eat.
Drink prices are very reasonable and a lot cheaper than the mainland, especially at happy hour time. A great place to catchup with other tourists.
