Loved this place...great food and atmosphere. Our waitress, Amanda, was terrific. Good prices. Call ahead...no reservations accepted and can be very busy.

The Boatyard Bar and Grill was packed, which is usually a good sign. We waited for about 40 mins for a table for four on Sunday lunch. The check in process was efficient with a text to inform us our table was ready. But I...More

I came here with family and was able to get a decent meal. Everyone that ordered crab or crab cakes really liked their meal. I wasn't overly impressed with anything in particular. I enjoyed my time there, my meal was fine but nothing stood out...More

Took BAE to Annapolis for a short getaway from winter, but it followed us! We found the Boatyard on TA and went for dinner. From the oysters, to the scallops over pappardelle to the rockfish, everything was delicious. Would recommend again, and again.

This is a must visit if you like crabcakes. Food is delicious and service is friendly. Look at the walls and see pictures of all the celebrities who have dined at the Boatyard.

Guess I just expected more after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. Food was very good - we ordered the crab cake sandwich and I have to admit, it wasn't nearly as good as Chick & Ruths! Oysters on the half shell were good, not...More

Went for lunch with some friends yesterday. Their stuffed oysters and crab&artichoke dip is excellent, just like when I got them last year. But we had 4 main courses and none of them was as good as the first two. The local Ale was the...More

Had the crab cakes and artichoke and crab dip. OUTSTANDING. It’s not in the center area, but that’s fine. It’s a nice walk. Worth walking there.

No only in door seating! Avoid Carrol's Creek, my Mother and Sister got sick there a few years ago and they handled it badly!

Description
The Boatyard is where local sailors, fishermen and lovers of the Chesapeake enjoy pint drinks, great crab cakes and the freshest local seafood. Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. The Boatyard is located in the historic maritime district of Eastport-a short walk or water taxi from Annapolis City Docks. Its photo boat films the local sailing races and shows them nightly. Named by Coastal Living, Sailing World and Sail Magazine as one of world's top sailing/boating restaurants.
