Considering it is a Michelin Star resto? I really was expecting an orgasmic experience. Service is very good. But the presentation of food is typical of any Chinese resto. only Braised King Scallop was presented nicely. The rest we had diced beef, Sea cucumber, Chicken came out just like any other normal resto. Taste was good but nothing to rave about. Wine by the glass was quite expensive, considering the 2 white wine from USA was nothing special is SGD 26 a glass. The Chablis is good and SGD 29 a glass. Our server Ms. FangRu is very attentive and see us struggling to finish the food, proactively asked us if we would like to cancel our last dish. So thankful as we were so full. They were very nice to give me some cute bread presented as a birthday platter.

Decided to do a Michelin Star meal for our special trip at Summer Pavillion which is was at the Ritz where we were staying. The food was absolutely excellent, especially the smoked duck, which was suggested and was accompanied with some delicious soups along with some tremendous crab fried rice. 5 star Presentation was good I felt the setting to be a little sterile and really nothing magical about the actual layout of the location as well. Was expecting a little more here. 3 star The service was very attentive and well coordinated, from our cocktail order to start all the way through our meal. My only complaint here was that a couple came in in the middle of our meal and sat at a table and took a conference call for an hour on speakerphone and the sounds reasonated thru an otherwise quiet restaurant. Is this my responsibility to say something to these people or the restaurant staff? This is a Michelin Star restuarant not a Hawker Center....I didnt want to cause a stir but it definitely was a drag on the experience.

There is fine dining and then there is fine dining. The Ritz Carlton Singapore, even amidst a pandemic, retains its timeless hospitality with that touch of refinement, others can only hope to emulate. Our lunch at the Summer Pavilion was a step into an oasis of calm, with crisp white linens matching the smart whites of the service team. A perfect ambiance sets the mood of what was to come, a six course lunch, that one cannot but luxuriate in each experience, rich broths and exquisite morsels served up in playful pastels of fine bone China. Summer Pavilion is technically a Chinese restaurant, but while the cooking techniques may be so, it's culinary offerings defy all conventional categorization. To my wife and I, its just damn fine dining. Our appreciation for the warmth and attention paid to every detail by the staff, especially Sook Fun who made our afternoon just that extra special. And as we left the restaurant to wander off to adjacent malls, a cheery and articulate May Fong kept us safe with temperature checks on our way out and back into the hotel. It was like coming home.. just better.

i went in dec 2020 for birthday celebration dinner with friends, the food was so fantastic that i went again this week for a lunch. But this time the standard dropped so much that my friend and i could not believe. We ordered a set lunch which costs $120 (before gst and service charge) PER PAX, but the food taste is blunt. The soup noodle we had the same as last time, but this time was so diluted that is like fishball noodle soup. The dim sum starter looks good at presentation, but the taste is plain, then the dishes follow just hve plain and salt taste. We concerned much and feedback to the staff who gv us the bill, we asked if the chef is same as few months ago, she said the chef is same, has been around over 10years. We concerned may be the lunch or the day is made by a new assistant, or the main chef or the in-charge happened to not be able to check the food taste of the day. The staff service is generally good, but looked exhausted.

Summer pavilion is an upscale Chinese fine dining restaurant with very classy interiors. Our food and service both were very good. Our server Fang Ju took special care and made our meal more memorable, and the wine sommelier Helen helped us and guided us with the wine menu, her sense of humor made our meal more fun. The food was very good, the iberico pork was cooked to perfection and the Kung po chicken had a lovely flavour to it. To finish the meal we had a chilled mango pudding which was not over sweet and ended the meal perfectly. A must go if you are in singapore.

Great service and delectable dim sum. The venue has good natural lightning, comfortable sofa seating and serviced by efficient, attentive, responsive and polite service staff. One minor complaint is the pricing of the peking duck. Ordered half a duck but was served portioned sizes instead, 3 plates of 4-5 slices each. The menu could possibly reflect the actual duck portions more accurately. Stewed sea cucumber with chicken is a must try. Nice, firm and crunchy sea cucumber stewed in fragrant ginger sauce accompanied with lightly sautéed and stewed juicy chicken chunks. Will definitely visit again.

Located at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, the Summer Pavilion is designed with modern Chinese Ambience. Helming the restaurant is chef Cheung, who's spent past decades cooking at Summer Pavilion. He specialises in Cantonese cuisine with a modern twist. We had several dim sum and his signature dishes such as soy sauce prawns. Personally, I truly enjoyed the quality and consistency of the food and seamless service experience. in addition, Service Crew- Karen and Chun Wai made our dinning even more enjoyable. I have to say that they really made us feel like being at home. If you only have a short stay in Singapore and would like to try nice Dim Sum and Cantonese cuisine, then should definitely give Summer Pavilion at The Ritz Carlton a try.

Just had dinner last night at Summer Pavilion and the experience is great. Food and service is excellent. Thanks to Chun wai for serving us the whole evening with his bubbly character. The manager Gery Lee is very accommodating towards our request for different menu. Would love to be back again soon!

We went to Summer Pavillion on 10Feb for an early Valentine's dinner (had to celebrate early due to work commitments). Both my husband & I remember this staff named Chun Wai who served us on our first visit about coupla years ago. It was such a pleasant feeling to see him & be served by him again. (We were looking forward to see him again) As we're both Cantonese, it felt so warm and homely feeling. We couldn't decide between the set menu or ala carte. So, basically Chun Wai just recommended the ala carte dishes as he got to know our style of preferences & wow.. he did recommend well!!!! A chance for us to discover beyond set menus. Chun Wai was also very friendly, kept us giggling and laughing throughout our patronage there, at the same time, he knows to give us space for our personal rare moments together as long married couple. To balance the moment, Helen, in her incredible professional persona & great English (I like meeting people who are eloquent) recommended a very good choice of Champagne to us. Your selection of Champagne is simply wonderful. And even when I recalled to a friend, the friend said he drank the same brand Louis Roderer in Ritz Carlton. Imagine it is unforgettable that the champagne is linked to Ritz Carlton. We enjoyed our meal so much. It is always good food that feeds the soul (besides the body), & great personalities of service definitely topped it off to the experience & especially our treasured moment. Do keep up with the impeccable quality of foods & of course, your most-famed world renowned service. It was both of these reasons that keep us returning. I only hope that there will be less assumption that a Chinese-raced person is expected to understand Mandarin (I don't understand Mandarin well). We are Cantonese & appreciate Cantonese food. I would also like to commend Derek, who is very cheerful, although in his short interaction with us, when clearing or serving us, with his brightest smile. Because in times like now, we could use cheerful moods surrounding. Thank you. And we will return again. And.. hoping to see all Chun Wai, Helen & Derek again. (I believe we'll be disappointed if we don't see any of them)

Tired to make a reservation during CNY and was told via promptly responded emails of fullbpuse. Decided to try again for nieces birthday beyond CNY and once again told that tables were fully booked. Glad that I asked to be put on waiting list and managed to secure a table the day before my waitlisted slot. Super attentive r and friendly staff who maintained the right distance without making us feel too overwhelmed. Dishes were quite limited but quality of all were great. Peking duck meat was tender. And fresh, soon hock steamed just for the right amount of timing and Canadian lobsters were so seeet and succulent. Desserts were just of the correct sweetness and no regrets ordering the ham paste and glutinous rice. Other than the complimentary longevity buns for my 2 birthday girls, staff decorated it nicely with jelly as well (see picture). Overall felt that the food and service make good value for money and will not hesitate to come again for next celebratory occasion- welll done team and looking forward to frequent changes of menu to entice repeating guests

This is my 2nd time visiting, breaking norms is what separates Summer Pavilion from many other established Chinese restaurant here, with every dish presented in style, done with a lot of finesse and portions generous enough. The dim sums here are reasonable price for the quality, taste was flavourful, especially Char Siew Pau (the best that I had so far in Singapore) I have been impressed by the service attitude of Karen & Chun Wai, service was impeccable and attentive, they always try their best to fulfill our needs and giving us such great memorable hospitality experience! Special thanks to Gery & Jackie, supervisor in ensuring everything is PERFECT. You guys are awesome!! Chef Cheong and his team serves very creative food with high quality ingredients, he also attended to our table to get some feedback on how's the food. Surely will go back again with family and friends

We celebrated my father in law's 70th birthday dinner there in December 2019. We chose the restaurant after reading many good reviews online. We were glad we chose to dine there. Every dish served was delicious and excellently executed. Kudos to the chef! By far this is the best meal we have had at a Chinese restaurant. The service was also impeccable. We were served by Ady and Siew Kee who were both very professional and attentive. Even when our son was fidgety during photo taking, Ady managed to distract him while taking the photo for us. Meanwhile Siew Kee served him a coconut ice cream since he didn't want the dessert we were having. This is probably one of the only reviews I have written for a restaurant but the entire team did such a good job that they deserve a 'pat on the back'.

I had an amazing birthday celebration with my Husband on 10th Aug thanks to Chun Wai's impeccable service. He recommended me drinks that were suitable for a pregnant lady - making me feel relieved after his female colleague brought me a wine menu when I told her I cannot take tea. Throughout the entire meal , there was great professionalism demonstrated in the way he served us but also kept his demeanor approachable which made the entire experience really cosy and comfortable. Every single dish served to us was well prepared with top grade ingredients that you can taste right from the moment you take a bite. Every single detail of the dish is well taken cared of and I can understand why they deserved their Michelin star. All in all, I'll definitely return again for their unforgettable service and quality of food presented.

We booked a room here for dinner to celebrate our birthday. The staff, Ms. Rena Kee who attended to us was very thoughtful and provide excellent service. We were very well taken care of. She was very observant. Helped us to change the tea when it turned cold, informed the kitchen to cook less salty for the following dishes when I commented that the soup was abit too salty. Love the ambience, the music and the display of the room. Will be back to try more dishes next time.

We had our solemnisation and wedding at Summer Pavilion in Feb 2020 with 140 guests. Chef Cheung and his amazing team made our luncheon everything we could’ve asked for. We were blessed to have Chef curate our lunch menu. Chef was willing to listen to our ideas and assisted to customise our “special” wedding menu. Our guests left our wedding with only good words, some even claiming it was “one of the best wedding menu they’ve had!”. Special shoutout to our in-charge Rena, who was always so attentive and accommodative, forever willing to go the extra mile to ensure our plans went well. We want to thank Gery and his service team who made our guests feel at home with their warmth hospitality. Everything would have been impossible if not for team at Summer P, thank you once again for treating us like friends and spoiling us on our wedding day!
