the foie gras was very small for the price and the edge of the foie Gras was burned. I order a rack of Lam medium Rosé (pink) they served me 3 lamb chop Blue I returned them they bring back Rare (very dark red bloody),...I returned them in total 3 times before getting them medium pink, but one was overcooked. Many wines are not available. I chose one bottle but they don't know how to serve the wine each time Drops on the table nap... I order a Ceasar salad again very small for the price... I was thinking it was a higher rank restaurant.More

We were two European couples who chosed the restaurant for dinner. The food was good and the service very attentive. We ordered four different starters and four main courses. We were disappointed that the Restaurant was not able to serve the starters at the same...time. Finally we ordered an Espresso. The small cups were served with teaspoons instead of small espressospoons. That just didn't fit.More

I found the service no better or worse than anywhere in the Phillipines. Chardonnay P400 excellent, but stingy in cheap stemware. Goat cheese salad dressing syrupy sweet, @ P600 poor value. The duck was OK. Not piping hot. Skimpy serve of potato, candied apple that...was inedibly sweet, and I have a sweet tooth! The reviewer who said this was good value, must have more money than taste. I like to linger, and spend lavishly in a nice place, I couldn't wait to leave. Very ovverated for the price, and that would be in any city.More

Came to Olio for dinner tonight with 4 buddies and this place is an absolute 10. I shared the tenderloin, scallops, beef carpaccio and fries with a buddy and it was all cooked to perfection. Our server Jonnelle was amazing, he absolutely nailed our service...and was smiling and laughing the whole time with us. It's important to note that this is fine dining at its best and the price does reflect that as we paid nearly $50 per steak, and were impressed with every bite. The location is prime right in the heart of cebu. I would easily place Olio in the top 5 Steak Houses I have tried in the Philippines. Highly recommended.More

The steak was really nice, service was really good. Only thing is that the steak comes only with some veggies, which looks really poor. They could do a bit more on the presentation. We also felt that the price was a bit high. Again you...pay for quality so fair enough!More

delicious, affordable steaks with choices for non-meat eaters. I tried the black pepper lobster which was good although the spaghettini that went with it was a bit oily

Olio has been known in Cebu as one of the restaurant who serve good steak. Their angus beef steak was the top choice for steak lovers, until Acacia Steak House and L Artisan came into the picture. I loved their beef salpicao. I assume they...use angus beef for dish thats why its so good. The main concern I have with Olio is, the place is very old. Since I set foot in Cebu in 2004 until now, they haven't done any major renovation. The place looks dark and some areas of the ceiling look dilapidated. I wish management could spend some money to beautify the place.More

The restaurant is fine dining, though you don't really need to be in formal attire. We tried the steak and it was quite good. The service is very attentive. The atmosphere is conducive for long conversations and intimate dinners too.

We were in Cebu with friends who live there and they mentioned this restaurant as one of the best, so you can imagine our excitement. We even called ahead to make sure they had fresh oysters. We ordered 1 to start and the oysters themselves...tasted ok but the shells looked suspicious, normally you would have the base of the oyster where it attaches to the shell still present but it wasn't there and there was also something yellow/ orange on the shell but we ignored it. We then decided to get a 2nd plate. This time we could see the same shells that they used for baked oysters were being reused for the fresh oysters!!! Can you imagine our horror?? This means the premium we were paying for fresh oysters was not even justified, the waiter tried to make a lame excuse but it didn't cut it. We asked to see the chef, who didn't make the effort to come and see us. We were given another plate of this time freshly shucked oysters, what a difference!!! just because of the chef's laziness our entire experience was ruined. BTW Olio the free dessert did not make up for our spoiled eveningMore

I had dinner here with a friend who hosted my Cebu weekend visit. Noticeably it is a fine dining steak restaurant and the interiors are classy and refined. The bread basket was just so-so; I was expecting more.(Suggestion: they were just beside Abaca, perhaps they...can order from there to improve the quality of their bread basket.) The oyster rockefeller and salpicao as appetizers were phenomenal. We ordered their sirloin steak and it was superb! It was cooked to our specifications and the meat was top grade. The service crew were very attentive and polite, which complimented the fine dining atmosphere of the place. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience there. Its a good place to bring your clients to for maximum impression and a good dating place to show you have taste.More

Wanted to order the USDA rib eye promo special (buy one, get one), but my partner was competing the next day at an international ballroom dancing event at Waterfront, and did not want to eat heavy food. So, she ordered the Olio linguine seafood pasta...(P650) and I ordered the braised lamb shank with couscous (P770) and wound up eating most of her order too. Wanted to order a bottle of bubbly to toast her, and, after perusing the wine menu, asked the waiter which of the two French bubblies he might recommend. He then got very flustered, and removed that page from the plastic cover, saying that it was an "old page". He came back later with a new wine menu, from which the two French bubblies had disappeared. Very odd experience. Had to go upstairs to wash my hands and couldn't figure out where to do so. Finally was told to step on a foot pedal, which caused water to flow over a large transparent glass sheet over the top of the bar area on the floor below. Two other couples dining at the time, both western men with younger, rather provocatively dressed Filipinas. Actually, one couple was a threesome. Interesting....More
