About
In the late 1800's Filipino intellectuals and warrior-poets started using the word "Indio" (a derogatory term to refer to the Islands' natives) as a badge of honor and a source of pride. They eventually formed a society that fought for reforms and more rights for their countrymen and called themselves "Los Indios Bravos" --- The Brave Natives. This gastropub is a tribute to all those pioneering men for we too are breaking new ground in Boracay as we are the first to showcase all-Filipino handcrafted beers on tap paired with classic pub food from all over the world.

For context, I was there Jan 3, so AFTER the mad New Year peak season. We were in a big group, and our orders didn't arrive at the same time. The Burger was cold. The Paratha Chicken was good, seasoned well, but arrived late. Fish...and Chips were warm and crispy. Our appetizer the chicken fingers arrived last, and was just ok. Taste, plating, inventiveness or whatever was just ok (not fabulous as people commented) and coming from peak season, I can understand that they must be operating with a skeleton crew, or because food was cold maybe the kitchen is just too far from the dining area. Waiters avoid our gaze when we raise our hands to follow up. Whatever the reason, the customer service and the timing of when to serve affected the dining experience. I just wish they improve and get their mojo back, because I really wanted to experience this restaurant as described by the other reviews that gave them a 5 star.More

Draft beer- not available. So just had chicken wings - very big chicken chops in what tasted like teriyaki sauce; it looked burnt but was actually good. Burger, cheese sandwich, sausages, cob salad were all very good. Skip the Onion soup and oysters Rockefeller- it...was ok; and kinilaw was disappointing- it didn’t taste as good as it looked.More

I was glad to be given a chance to dine in this resto again. The first was when we travelled with the kids and we all love everything we ordered. They change location and some of their menu was no longer available but there's no...denying that the food here are still great. For those who wants to know, they are now located at the WHITE HOUSE HOTEL facing the beach in station 1. I guess this is the best location for them rather than the old one across the street guest can enjoy the scenery and the beach itself.More

Despite visiting Boracay many times, we’d never eaten here before. As we are staying longer this time, thankfully we made it and we weren’t disappointed. A great menu and chilled ambiance. We loved the chicken goujons, dino bones/ribs, salad, pizza and chilli con carne....we have...been 2/3 times over the past week or so and we hope to be back once more. The service is great, all the staff are very friendly and we had a wonderful warm welcome from Nenette, the owner- thank you Nenette, it was great to meet you and we look forward to our next visit.More

After be locked down for a while, I really wanted to go to a restaurant to have an experience through flavors and environment… nothing better than be treated kindly, served with awesome flavors within a cool place. I went with my family, so we asked...for different kind of dishes, the burger was fantastic, a great pork and fries, full flavored salad and my kafta beyond this world. Los Indios Bravos are a sure shoot even if they don’t have alcohol due the liquor ban!More

Had dinner and drinks at Los Indios in Aug 2019. We left the place very satisfied at that time. Visited again in Jan 2021 and I’m very happy to say that the quality of the food that I remember has been retained. The experience was...as good as the last time we visited. We had: chorizo and mushroom risotto, sausage and mash, grilled cheese sandwich and cottage pie. Boondocks Brewing Summer Ale has remained consistently good as well!More

I went for dinner with my family, and we really enjoyed the food. I'm a sucker for Mac and Cheese, so that was my pick and this did not disappoint. It was so full of gooey cheese! The Sausage & Mash was also good. It...came with a barbecue sauce dip which went well with the sausages. To finish our dinner, we had the Banana Bread ala Mode. This was made of MarTinapay's banana bread, topped with peanut butter, caramelized banana slices, vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce. All of this came together in a bomb dessert. Yum!!!More
