We went here twice during our stay in boracay, would've gone more if only there was no ECQ in manila and we didn't have to rebook our flights earlier. I really have to go back to try more of their dishes! They serve the best...seafood in the island. They cook each piece of seafood perfectly. Props to the chef talaga. Personal favorites are the ff: Calamares, Seafood Paella, Marinara, Grilled Squid, Grilled Snapper which is not in photo. We just had to order calamares the second time. Some dishes are not available bc there was no fresh catch of the day but its okay. At least you're assured that they serve fresh food. This was also the best seafood paella ever (remember to preorder!) To get here you need to take an Etrike to Microtel at Diniwid beach that costs around 150.More

This is an off-the-beaten path place. Diniwid beach. Mama's Fish House Is the inhouse restaurant of Microtel Inn and to say that it has a 'humble' vibe is an understatement. Very humble. No grand lobby. No cemented drop off area. The way to the place...by car or tricyle means passing through residential area. We took the e-jeep bec we had lazy kids who didnt wanna walk. I dont even know if in monsoon, walking from station 1 to Diniwid beach is possible. But we did not come for the place, the ambience, nor the view. Maybe if there was sunset, it would be extra. But the rain clouds stayed throughout the day and night. We came for the food and the food did not disappoint. Chili Fried Calamares - the best i have ever tasted Paella - torn between seafood and chicken. Both great. We had crabs off the menu, preordered. Crabs were fresh, fat and tasty! We visited during the monsoon season and the rain was nonstop. We brought our own bottle of red, enjoyed food, while the winds howled and the rain poured. We were the only diners. Twas a good dinner, indeed.More

Everytime im in Boracay i have to eat here. On our first day, we had seafood paella (you have to pre order) and grilled mahi mahi. I just love the side salad that comes with it. The next time we watched the sunset there with...piña colada and mango Margarita with tuna roll and calamares. For dinner we had pasta marinara, burger (best in the island) and Bagnet with rice. They are all my favorites. Another we had Fish and chips and grilled squid, of course they were yummy!😋More

That was a #triumph! The #food was #excellent as always. We ordered: • Red Roasted Mahi Mahi • Bagnet Crispy Pork Belly • Lemon Pepper Mahi Mahi • Chili Mango Margarita Not photographed • Cheese Balls • Chili Pepper Calamares The mahi mahi was terrific;...my partner, who doesn't like to eat fish, loved it. And that crispy bagnet was so sumptuous. The service was superb; Mariel and Mely set up our tables on the beach and were very attentive to our needs. And best of all, the owner, Tita Cory Batchelor, was so gracious; she made us feel at home on the island. If ever you're in Boracay, Mama's Fish House is a must-try! PS. I wish Microtel would lower their price during the pandemic and offer cheaper long-term rates. We'd love to stay given its proximity to one of the best restaurants in Boracay.More

So far the best and delicious food and portioning is quite big that we didn't even managed to try the Mango float (haha) for dessert. We ordered Chili squid and tuna seaweed roll for appetizer and then Mahi mahi steak and Mahi mahi in lemon...pepper, it was just mouth watering and the fish are fresh and was cooked gracefully! Not to mention Ms. Mama (She allowed us to call her Ms. Mama) all of that was recommended by her and I would say she is so beyond accommodating and super nice. Oops! we are also lucky enough to witness a performance that night for a birthday party. Everything was just at the right time. Thank you for having us that night.More

Received a very warm Welcome by the owner of MFH, super charming and friendly lady. Very Cozy place with extremely friendly and efficient staff. Always attentive. Had San Miguel Pilsen to start. My favourite local beer. Followed by a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc Sta Luz 1200pesos...per btl. to go with my Seafood Lunch. Pulutan (snack with booze) with my Sanmig was Crispy Calamari with a sensational Tangy and Mildly Spicy sauce. Perfect balance. Followed by the ever famous Mahi Mahi fillet. Served on a silky smooth potato puree. Thoroughly enjoyed in with my Sauvignon Blanc. Overall, one of the best meals on Boracay. Looking forward to more exciting times at Mama's Fish House. Place looks a bit Tired, Good Job Mum Cory and Team. See you soon for more Great Food and Beautiful Smiles. Maraming Salamat.More

Mama’s Fish House serves the freshest seafood in the island. The fishermen know that the owner Cory likes to have first crack on the catch of the day. Located in quiet Diniwid Beach #MicrotelBoracay, where one can have a nice swim, enjoy a dip in...Microtel’s beachside pool , cocktails for the sunset and straight to dinner. .... On our 4th day, again a fisherman / ex-Boracay stone artist Chacha went straight from the sea to the restaurant’s kitchen to have a selection of his freshest catch.... But i can’t fail to mention that one of my favorite among the entrés is their Chicken Parmagiana; and another one : Fish n Chips — undoubtedly worth the trip to get to Mama’s Fish House at Microtel by Wyndham Boracay in Diniwid.More

The food was delightful to both the eyes and tastebuds!I recommend the tuna rolls and the calamari for appetizers. I loved my main dish that was roasted mahi mahi but couldn't resist getting into my friends' dishes like the bagnet, and the fish and chips....Im gonna have to go back for the other dishes that I saw on the table but regrettably did not have space for anymore. Their location is so special. Off the beaten path yet easily accessible by all vehicles or better yet, by a nice leisurely stroll along the beach. The service is cheerful and courteous. Highly recommended!More
