The location of the restaurant, right on the beach with a stunning view, is undeniably beautiful and creates a wonderful atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger and enjoy the surroundings.
During our visit, I ordered the prawns, which were beautifully served in a coconut. They were perfectly cooked and delicious—a true highlight of the meal and an example of how this restaurant can shine when everything aligns.
However, our overall experience was unfortunately let down by some significant issues. My partner had to wait an hour for his second course to arrive. While one could argue that this means everything is freshly prepared, it also raised questions about the efficiency of the kitchen or the order management system. For a restaurant with such promise and such an idyllic setting, this was disappointing and somewhat dampened the enjoyment of the evening.
In summary, Maya’s Restaurant has a lot of potential, especially with its beachfront location and the quality of certain dishes, but there is room for improvement in how they manage their service to ensure a smoother experience for all guests.

Definitely has the best view for sunset. My god, it was stunning. Absolutely breathtaking. There are limited seats so book a table. I got a perfect spot. It was just hot as there was no fan or air conditioning outside. I don't drink alcohol and there were no mocktails on the menu. The waiter said they could make me one, but would still need to charge me the same price as an alcoholic one! Totally ridiculous if you ask me. Never been told this before. I opted for a bottle of water and the yellow fin tuna tataki instead, which was really good. It comprised sesame crusted tuna, mixed greens, carrots, radish and cucumber with a miso vinaigrette. Light and hit the spot. Freshly made and nicely presented. Protein and healthy vegetables! My negatives are that the place was dirty. Tables were not cleaned after guests had left, dirty napkins that had blown were just left all over the floor. It was not that busy and there were more than enough of them. However, only one gentleman appeared to be serving. Took a while. I would recommend going otherwise. The food was good and the sunset views were to die for! Book a table.

We stopped here to have sunset drinks and had some snacks as well. It was in the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the beach. They have HH 2-for-1 drinks from 3-6pm but I recommend having at least a drink or two from their regular cocktail menu. We loved the Jardin, Spicy Mamacita, and Sinag.
We were a little bit peckish so planned on having a light snack before dinner. The food was so good that I wish we had just ordered an extra dish and had dinner here! The puso ng saging at baboy was our favorite dish. It's a vinegary salad with banana blossoms, coconut milk, and grilled pork belly. So delicious! We also had the kilawin ceviche sampler with mackerel, tuna, and shrimp. I wish we could have stayed in Boracay longer to have a proper dinner here!

Nacho Grande shouldn’t be called grande to start with, could do with a fresher sauces, more tomatoes, onions and portion since the name says “grande”.
The garlic pork adobo take longer than 40 minutes to be served and counting as I am writing this review, only to find out the staff didnt get our order to the kitchen. What a waste of time.

Have been to Mayas before, but this time service felt a bit chaotic. Several items on the menu was sold out and we were noted first when we tried to order said item. But we at last found something we were happy to order.
Then it took quite a while, 30+ minutes before the food arrived, nothing against waiting for the food but only 1 of our dishes were served and it wasn’t even warm, and one of us had to wait another 5 minutes for the 2nd dish to arrive.
Food was really well made and tasted nicely.
They had medium to high amount of seats filled so hopefully the service part was a one time blooper.

2 stars at most. The good: Margaritas were excellent as well as the upstairs dining area which was cool with great views of the sunset. The :bad: Despite listing these items on their website menu they had .no burritos nor quesadillas. Also, the tacos were porky tasting and the asado was tough. You had to pay for chips and salsa which is normally free at most Mexican restaurants in Europe and USA

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
We're glad to hear that you enjoyed our margaritas and the ambiance of our upstairs dining area with its stunning sunset views. We apologize for the disappointment regarding the absence of burritos and quesadillas during your visit. We strive to provide a diverse menu that meets our guests' expectations, and we regret that we fell short in this instance. We appreciate your comments regarding the taste of the tacos and the toughness of the asado. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continuously work to improve our offerings and ensure a consistently high standard of quality. Regarding the chips and salsa, we understand your concerns.
We will take your feedback into consideration as we review our policies to better align with the expectations of our guests.
Thank you for bringing these points to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

5/5 Food, atmosphere and service.
Delicious food with stunning view!
The seating arrangement and atmosphere were great. Staff were very friendly too.
I was craving for Kare-Kare but unfortunately they didn't have available when I went, however our waiter recommended the garlic pork adobo and it did not disappoint.
The food came looking so amazing, Finn just couldn't wait to dig in and ended up using the serving fork to eat hahaha. It tasted just as good as it was presented.
The chicken inasal was so juicy and flavourful.
The garlic pork adobo was so tender. We ordered 2 sides of rice as they don't come with it, and the (rice) portions were massive. I couldn't finish mine!
Overall, would recommend eating here. Lovely view in front of the beach and great food.

We came here especially because it had fish and veggie options on the menu. When we arrived, we were told that nothing I could eat was available apart from the squid ink adobo. Although it wouldn't be my first choice, I ordered this and my husband ordered chicken tacos (after being told his first choice, chicken inasal, wasn't available). Minutes later, the waitress came back saying the chicken tacos weren't actually available, so we left. No Mexican food and not much Filipino food is actually on offer here and service is slow - the whole experience cost us 45 minutes. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Every time I visit Boracay, it's my go-to spot for delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a place to unwind. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff truly go above and beyond, especially Tony, Rose, Raymond and all the staff, who consistently provides heartwarming service with a smile.
The food here is nothing short of superb—each dish bursting with flavor and prepared with care. Whether you're dining in, grabbing a drink, or just relaxing, this restaurant never disappoints. It's truly the hidden gem of Boracay and a must-visit for anyone coming to the island. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Visited Mayas two times during the Boracay stay, I can start by saying It was sad we did not find it earlier during our stay.
We tried some of their Tacos which was really good. Other time we ordered their sinigang with pork, it was the best sinigang me and my fiancée have ever tried, simply delicious!
We were served by Arjey both evenings and he was so attentive and professional, he made the dining experience even better! Asking about allergies telling us about the different dishes and so on.
Then you have the sunset while dining right at the beach.
It’s well worth the price, so I highly recommend Mayas.

Lovely location right on the beach. Extremely friendly and helpful service. Our waiter, Arjay, made sure that we're well looked after and explained all of the food items on the menu. He then went further by then explaining the different food items we had ordered when they arrived.
The food was delicious and very well presented. I had the tuna burrito which was fantastic and very flavorsome.
This would also be the perfect place for a delicious beverage to relax by beautiful White Beach.
Highly recommend popping into this unassuming little place.

Excellent Filipino food and great service. The garlic pork adobo is fork tendon and flavorful without being salty, and the bagoong rice is well flavored with dry shrimps rather than shrimp paste. Knocked off one star as only 30-35% of their menu was available and it was only 1PM.

We had breakfast at Maya’s every morning during our stay in Boracay. The food was delicious, with an array of choices. I personally loved the pancakes, whilst my partner’s favourite was the breakfast burrito. The restaurant is right on the beach, with an incredible view of the sea, but what truly makes Mayas great is the staff. They’ll go above and beyond for you, and really go that extra mile. Shout out to Rammel :)

Right on White Beach but away from the chaos of station 2.
Serving a mix of Filipino and Mexican cuisine, this place has just the right amount of buzz without being overwhelming or loud.
I tried their El Chapo Margarita. If, like me, you’re a fan of spicy drinks, then this one is a no-brainer. Also got their Kilawin (Filipino ceviche) sampler. The tuna was good, the prawn with mango didn’t work for me but my husband quite liked it. My fave was the mackerel with the coconut cream marinade. Had a smokiness to it I really liked.
Service was on point. And the breeze from the beach made it a perfect dinner experience. Given the location, I see it being a great place for sundowners as well.

Food and sunset at the highest level! Best place to eat dinner on the island. We took fish tacos, tuna tataki, tuna ceviche, coconut milk shrimp and fruit necks. All the dishes were very delicious and healthy.
