I ordered the Chicken Parmegiana, and I must say that is one of the best things I've ever eaten. It was juicy, cheesy, and tart from the tomato sauce. The fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned.
I also ordered a green apple iced tea, which was really refreshing and a good pairing to the meal.
The ambiance was also very nice, with an al fresco dining experience on the roof and its location on a park was great for walking off the calories.

After all the seafood overload, one would naturally look for coffee or tea. And there's no better place to have those than Mayad Cafe. It's a small, intimate cafe right in the heart of Puerto Princesa serving that perfect coffee or tea made more perfect when paired with their delectable cake selections. The place has an intimate, feel-at-home kind of vibe which made our visit so chill. My only regret is that we have to fly out before we get to experience their Thursday music nights. On the bright side, that's one more reason to go back! ;)

One of my favorite Coffee house in Puerto Princesa. They serve good coffees and pastries.
I love their ambiance at night especially their up stairs area. Staff are friendly and provides good service.
Their location is very accessible. Just in front of Puerto Princesa City Coliseum.
Highly recommended..

Seen the all day breakfast sign before entering but after reading the menu of about 6 available dishes (none of which had breakfast) was disappointed. Had walked 20 minutes in the heat to find this place based on the reviews but was let down. Ordered two Orange Sodas which came out warm. Asked for the WiFi but apparently had to pay over 250 pesos. For two tourists just arriving this is disgraceful. Never seen before in the last 6 months of traveling.
Poor service.

Ambiance was perfect; enjoying a sip of coffee on the rooftop was indeed a treat. Not only were their drinks good, the pastries deserve the same amount of praise (try their famous calamansi cake as well as their moist chocolate cake). We will definetly be back.

We had a tiramisu cake here one evening, and came for coffee and French fries one lunch time.
The cake didn’t have much of a coffee flavour, but was nice enough - perhaps a bit steep at 100 php.
The French fries and coffee were nice and we enjoyed having them on the roof terrace. They also serve a few light meals like pasta dishes and have other cakes to choose frpm. Not the cheapest place but if you fancy a cake, you might want to give it a go.

Mayad is a "pleasant" hangout place in this part of Palawan. It may be small in structure but it offers quality drinks and food. The staff were great, well-trained, and friendly. Space is penty around the shop with some greenery. Parking space is not a problem. Te roof deck is ideal for late afternokn or night coffee breaks. Tje coffee is of high quality. Their pastries are unique and delicious.
It is a wothwhile escape from the busy city streets of Puerto Princesa City.
Indeed, Mayad is where good friends meet!

Better than Starbucks! Also, all coffees are reasonably priced, ranging from P 70 - 155. Caramel macchiato the best! Also, I would recommend Iced Cafe Americano, and of course, their calamansi cup cakes only at P 35.
Moreover, I love the way how they embody Palawan's culture through inviting local bands, selling CDs of local Palaweno artists, among many others. I am certain this is only one of the many more things to come. :)

Love the caramel macchiato I was served tonight with brazo de mercedes cupcake to go with it :) It's even better than Starbucks.
If you're a coffee zealot (iced, blended,brewed... whatever), don't forget to drop by Mayad Cafe just within the vicinity of the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum. Every Thursday is acoustic night so, it's lovely to sit outside or on the roof-deck area to listen to the music.

Local blend sifts through the senses as you experience a cup from this coffee specialty store. Though space is limited during the mornings, they offer a variety of common coffee blends and mixes. Bread and pastries are also on the side. The place is cozier during the evenings.

The taste of their frappes were totally perfect for me. The ambiance is great and the staffs as well. They don't have wifi but I think its a good thing . You can have a good chat with your friends personally. I'm craving for their caramel frappe whenever I'm not in Puerto Princesa.
