I had my lunch in the restaurant when I was in Puerto Princesa City, I ordered Pizza and Chicken Tenders, Server is friendly and service is efficient. Pizza is good enough for 2 persons, Chicken is crunchy outside but not dry inside. Love the ambience of the restaurant, you would not think that the location is beside a busy street, toilets are clean, music not too loud and and I specifically chose the restaurant because I am dining alone and I want to enjoy my lunch in peace, I did the right choice on that. The servers are attentive without being too intrusive but she is so nice and even gave me Palawan trip tips. Thank you for home brewed Rum free taste 😊

Excellent restaurant not to be missed

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and we had lunch and dinner several times in the restaurant of the Hibiscus Garden Inn hotel. The cuisine is simply excellent and refined with a wide variety of local and European dishes. Enjoy all the fish dishes (kinilaw in particular is excellent). It's a restaurant that's definitely worth a detour even if you're not in this hotel and the prices are quite reasonable. There is also a very nicely decorated private, air-conditioned room which is worth visiting. I highly recommend this restaurant which leaves us with excellent memories!!

An exceptional dining experience at Hibiscus Restaurant

I had the pleasure of dining and staying for ten days at the Hibiscus Hotel in Puerto Princess, and I cannot express enough how pleasant my experience was. From the moment I entered, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. Laurent, the director, is really great. His professionalism and dedication to providing excellent service are impeccable. The menu offers a variety of local and international dishes that are sure to satisfy every palate. The pizzas, in particular, were excellent, some of the best I ate in Puerto Princess during my stay. The helpful and friendly staff were more than happy to answer any questions I might have about the menu based on my preferences. (In both English and French which is not insignificant for someone who is not too familiar with the language like me.) To conclude, the Hibiscus restaurant is not to be missed if you are passing through Puerto Princess. I highly recommend this restaurant and hopes to come back and see them again next year.

The service was very good. They tried hard to explain things to me, who can't speak English, in a way that I could understand. Thanks to their gestures, I was able to get my point across. The pizza🍕 was excellent. I recommend you try it. I wish there was a pizza in Japan where the fillings are wrapped in pizza dough.

After three goes, never again

A group of friends meet at various Restaurants around Puerto on Thursdays. Today we dined for lunch at Hibiscus. This is my third visit to this Restaurant and on all three occasions I have been disappointed with the meals. Today I ordered a Chicken burger priced at Php380. I realised half way through my meal that the chicken was raw and tasted funny. I find the prices are overly expensive and the service is very ordinary, even though there was only our group dining at the time.

Best restaurant in Puerto Princesa

Perfect place for pizza, pasta, and burgers that you miss from home, plus favorite Filipino dishes and other wonderful items on a large menu to choose from. The general manager is a French Italian permanent resident in the Philippines, appears excellent in customer relations, and from personal experience brings anttention even behind the bar in making specialty cocktails. I love that there is always a special of the day or week for new dishes to try!

Perfect place for pizza, pasta, and burgers that you miss from home, PLUS favorite Filipino dishes and other wonderful items on a large menu to choose from. Fancy Dinner

I came to this restaurant last end of August to celebrate my husband's birthday and I am surprised of what we've experienced . They prepared a great dinner for us. It's so impressive that since I came here last 2019, they haven't change at all serving a fancy dishes for the costumer. The beautiful scenery of the garden and its colorful lights yet not painful to my eyes.Its very overwhelming! Eating breakfast, lunch and dinner in here seeing the beautiful smiles of the staffs makes me comfortable. Love this place so much!!

Being a resident of Puerto Princesa and a regular visitor of the cozy Hibuscus bar the location for a (birthday) overnight was an easy choice and it turned out to be a very good one. I highly recommend this place (that goes for locals as well as tourists): it is cozy, clean, welcoming, quite and peaceful. Try some of the (self created) cocktails they have to offer, guaranteed you like them! Food was very good too: the wife chose pasta with seafood which was presented well and was very tasty. No wonder she finished everything. Good pizza is hard to find in the Philippines but hearing from other expats that Hibiscus has the best I chose the pizza Margherita: it tasted as good as it looked and I tell you no lies when I say it was the best I had in years. You read that right: best in years. No wonder I finished everything. Kids loved their chicken wings and burger/fries and ordered 2 portions (and they are difficult eaters). From cleaning staff, reception, restaurant/bar/kitchen to management: this place has very friendly and dedicated people. We will be back for sure. Laurent and staff, many thanks and big thumbs up!

Best lunch he had in Puerto Princesa so far. All dishes were tasty and made with fresh ingredients. We had shrimp, marinated tuna, shrimp ravioli, fish fillet and tuna steak (well done, could be medium rare). Generous portion size, bigger than other pictures we saw on review. They also have a separate room with AC so you can have a break from the heat, which is nice for a change.

Food poisoning

Whilst there I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience it was really serene and nice and I was looking forward to the food. However my food came and it wasn’t hot. I had to eat cold fish and mashed potatoes and veg. Unfortunately I have now been up since 2am with severe food poisoning and so has my little boy who’s only just turned 3, I’ve never seen him this sick which is very scary when on holiday. The service was quite average as well e.g. leaving my sons main course on the table to attract flies whilst we ate our deserts. I didn’t want to leave a bad review as I know how detrimental it can be but it if I can prevent someone else from getting this sick then I see my work here as done. I’m sorry to leave a bad review but we really are so sick and it’s important people know this.

We had lunch twice during our stay at the hotel. The menu is very varied and offers choices for all tastes, from club sandwiches to tuna carpaccio. We were very satisfied both times, the staff is very pleasant, the service is fast and the dishes are prepared and good, go there with your eyes closed :)

Amazing hospitality! The food was delicious! Highly recommend the pina colada and if you can try the homemade pineapple rum! Our family New Year’s Eve dinner at Hibiscus Garden Inn was so memorable. Highly recommend dining here such a beautiful setting amongst a lush tropical garden, beautiful lanterns! We can’t wait to come back !

Best restaurant in Puerto Princesa

We have stayed in Puerto Princesa for few days and we have been testing few restaurant an Hibiscus Restaurant is the best. We enjoyed very much their food and so we have been there many times for Dinner and Lunch and we also tried the their breakfast :) They have a good and various variety of food. We love their Tuna Carpaccio and various Pica Pica. We tried their Pizza and Pasta they are very good. My wife enjoy so much Indian food so she have been really happy to find good ands tasty Indian food also. They also have Thai food selection so this is why by the variety of foods and quality of foods this place is the best restaurant yo can find in Puerto Princesa. Not to forgot the set up, they have a beautiful view on the swimming pool and incredible garden. The staff are very professional and very cool at the same time so it makes us come bak often without any doubt. Go there and yo will for sure have some good good and have a good times !!
