Great restaurant for vegetarians (or non-veggies!!) who want a relaxed, home-cooked meal. The proprietor (I assume Ima?) seemed to do everything herself and had such a kind and friendly manner. We had two burritos which were delicious but very different (aubergine/eggplant and bean) and tortillas....There was a great hot sauce and really refreshing mango and banana juice. The menu was extensive and all the food coming out looked great! Thanks for a fab meal :)More

We were desperate to find something to eat at Puerto Princesa in the afternoon, and we randomly came across Ima's vegetarian restaurant: HOW LUCKY!!! Ima's welcomed us with open arms and offered us the most delicious vegan and vegetarian food we ate in the city!...The place is lovely with many plants and a peaceful atmosphere. That was everything we could hope for and so much more. We highly recommend it!!!More

Note that the location has recently moved to Rizal Avenue (just 500m away). Fantastic vegetarian food; delicious and great value. Loads of different options on the menu; I ate at Ima's twice during my short stay in Puerto Princesa. Ima is lovely; such a kind...and friendly person. The covered courtyard is a little haven of tranquillity, filled with plants; a peaceful place to eat. Many thanks Ima. Finding vegetarian food in the Philippines can be a challenge, so I was very happy to find your place. Please keep doing what you are doing!More

Imas food is great. The restaurant is quite basic and the service can be a little slow, but the quality of the food makes it all worthwhile We visited 3 times.

We had 2 burritos so maybe not the best choice on the menu, and they were alright! Ima's Blend smoothie was nice and fresh :)

As vegetarians, we always find it hard to find things to eat in touristy places and this was a welcome relief for us. This is a pure vegetarian restaurant (and no alcohol too). Food was very good. We had bean burrito and vegetables with rice....Tasted good. Fast and good service. At the time we went, it was not that crowded and we had a quiet dinner. A good place for vegetariansMore

My friend and I arrived around 6:30pm. We’d read about Ima’s online and in a Lonely Planet guide. The restaurant is small and quaint - at the time there was only one elderly waitress working who seemed to be quite flustered so we took our...time to order a penne and broccoli and a pesto, we didn’t bother with a drink as our tummies were feeling funny. A table of four had just ordered before us so I knew we were in for a wait but we didn’t get our food until 8pm, at which point I was getting hangry. When we got our food, the portion was small, my friends pesto was undercooked spaghetti and each dish was served with a half slice of brown toast slightly (I mean very slightly) buttered. It was underwhelming and I left quite disappointed and 50% full. Later we saw a sign in their window stating that they were looking for a dishwasher and two kitchen staff so we weren’t super mad about it since they’re clearly understaffed but I was kind of confused about how it’s so highly rated online. Maybe we just have bad timing.More

What a gem! As a vegetarian I struggled to find anything to eat for lunch today so found this place on tripadvisor. Came here for dinner with my carnivore husband who said his tostadas were the best vegetarian meal he’s had in our 9 weeks...of travelling SE Asia! I ordered the Tempe steak which was also delicious. The girl serving us was also very lovely. Wish we could return but sadly leaving tomorrow. Only around £2 a meal too and free water. Only downside is service is a bit slow so maybe don’t go if you’re in a rush otherwise Definitely worth a visit!More

It’s always good to find a veggie place in SE Asia. While the service was slow, the staff were very nice and so were the prices!

Went here after desperately trying to find veggies in a place where meat is the main staple. There is a variety of dishes to choose from especially Mexican. We opted for nachos to start (corn and mango) so lovely. Then we shared veg fajitas and...bean burritos. I would say the portions are on the small size so order extra. We asked for guacamole to go with ours (no problem to make it for us). We preferred the fajitas. Also had a couple of shakes (a little watery but ok). All in all a pleasant visit made to feel very welcome and would definitely go again.More
