We went to the Restaurant because of the good review at Tripadvisor. The location is small and beautiful. The owner of the restaurant did the service by himself. He was very polite. We had bruschetta, carbona and lasagne. Bruschetta was excellent! Carbonara and Lasagne were...good. Unfortunetly there was a problem by the oven. I got my lasagne when my girlfriend had eaten her carbonara. In addition to this because of the problem by the oven my lasagne was lukewarm. The owner reduced our price and accepted the criticism. Thank you for the nice evening. 4 of 5 points.More
Absolutely amazing food. We had to walk 15 minutes to this restaurant, but it was definitely worth it. The owners and staff are friendly and take time for a talk. I would recommend the bruschetta; you can taste the passion in it.
We just went to this small restaurant and we're glad we did it. The owner is very friendly and attentive and the meal is just delicious. My wife took the pasta and i took the pizza, it was just fabulous. The owner came at the...end to offer us some lemoncelo, very sweet !! I deeply recommend !!!More
What a find. The food is amazing, with authentic ingredients and a menu that comes straight from Italy. I would never have expected to find a place like this in the Philippines. The atmosphere is relaxing, with dim lighting and peaceful music. It is off...the main road and hard to find, but entirely worth the effort.More
It's a really nice place and good price. High quality food and the owner and staff is super friendly and good people
Wow....had a BEAUTIFUL dinner here tonight! This is the real deal Italian. Not the typical"Italian" you get in the Philippines with weird sweet/suagry tomato sauce but the kind you get IN Italy!! My fiancé had the Carbonara (which he said was the best one he's...had) and I had the penne Bolognese. The pasta was cooked perfectly and there was SO much flavour in the sauce and the meat was high quality. I had the banana split with flambe bananas and nuts and it was DELICIOUS!! The owner came and said chatted a bit and was super friendly. All the food is made FRESH to order and I dont know about you but I'd rather wait a bit longer for fresh then stuff that's been sitting there all day! So sit back, have a drink, and relax waiting for your food. You're on vacation! Slow your life down a bit like the Italians do. At the end of our meal the owner came and dropped off homemade delicious Limoncillo!!! Highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for amazing pasta!! They had a bunch of other stuff on the menu including pizza but we wer totally in the mood for pasta so that's all we got. If it wasn't pur last night here we'd be headed there tomorrow 100%More
AMAZING**** Food was great, ingredients were fresh! Very amazed by their talented team, me and my partner had a great time there.
Really friendly and open people. A place so cute and warm, it is really great! The food was delicious and made with true feeling. The chef came to talk several times and made us feel really valued. Definitely a 5*!
What a charming place! I came across this place because it was near my hotel. From the street I could see the nicely decorated garden setting and I was curious to get more information. I spoke with the hostess who let me see a menu....I was immediately impressed with the wide selection of dishes and the reasonable prices. All dining is al fresco. Lighting is at a comfortable medium level allowing for both an opportunity to enjoy the garden setting and to admire the food placed before you. The waitress was very attentive and it wasn't long before the owner came over and introduced himself. I ordered the penne bolognese which was noted as having a spicier sauce. I asked for some additional pepper flakes which was accommodated without hesitation, and the flavor reminded me of my grandmother's cooking at the Italian restaurant in New York. Such great flavor with a little zest! The restaurant is close to the airport and easy to find. Tricycle and taxi drivers are familiar with this street. I would highly recommend making Olio e Basilico Ristorante one of your dining experiences when in Puerto Princessa.More
