We have travelled for two weeks now through different cities on the Palawan Island and this is the best food we came across. The atmosphere is amazing, great music, amazing staff and great tasting food. Everything on the menu is tasty and very healthy. It can get very busy especially for dinner and you have to queue but well worth the wait. In regards to the price it is a bit more expensive than other places in El Nido but I am willing to pay more to make sure I eat something nice, the kitchen is open and you can see the preparation of the food is high standard. Also, from what we noticed on 4 different occasions when we ate here is that we meet the same people every evening and is the most crowded restaurant in the area this should mean that they are doing something right. See you again tonight!!

This caffe is full of young people (Backpackers) and serves more like western type of food, healthy types, too.
Gets very busy.
We asked if our breakfast could be served in 15 min as we have to catch a tour and they said sure, however, it took over 25min. At least they pack it up for us as takeaway.
They have a happy hour cocktails and we got shots for free.

Something really different. Swings for sitting at the bar. Great atmosphere. Excellent knowledgeable and hard working staff. Kitchen is out in the open All prices are reasonable
The bartender (forgot his name) is very talented friendly.
I highly recommend all travellers to stop in to enjoy and experience Happiness Beach Bar

We tried this place based on the good ratings and the fact that the place looks so cool and has such a Great vibe.
That the place looked awesome was the only thing we liked.
The service was not Great, it was hard to ask questions about the menu, we ordered drinks that we never got and the staff wasnt very helpful when we asked about a gluten free option for my friend.
Portions were very small, and I tried the hummus happiness which was basically just a hummus dip, a few chickpeas and a pita bread.
We left there a bit disappointed unfortunaly, too bad, we really liked the vibe

We are here on two separate occasions for dinner and breakfast and both times were blown away by the food. The owner is friendly and comes round and chats with the diners, making sure all is OK. The pittas and salads are divine! If you’re coming for breakfast, highly recommend the muesli and the Nutella/peanut butter banana pancakes. Try and sit in the swinging chairs at the bar if you can - they’re really fun. Also this is the best coffee we had on the island. Would definitely come back here if we return to the Philippines!

We ate here a few times as there is a good selection for vegetarians and they accept card payments (5%charge). They don't give out WiFi though. After a few visits the menu is all pretty much the same and it's more expensive compared to other restaurants. We ordered the hummus selection and were only given half a pitta for three large bowls of hummus. We were charged extra for additional pitta.

The food can fit any group of people, since they really do have something good for everyone. Food is fresh and simple so you can't really miss with any choice.. it was all very very tasty..! Staff are also very inviting, smiling and friendly.. really recommended stop for any time of the day

This restaurant is completely safe and the quality of food is fantastic. The hummus & falafel were amazing & the fries were actually our favourite! Definitely try the fries they're on a different level.
The restaurant / bar is the only consistently booming place we came across each night which tells you something... no dodgy bellies here, its busy but you'll get a seat.
I'd definitely return here if we came back to El Nido

First i was attracted by the vibe and couldn’t wait to order some food. I wanted fish something and the didn’t have... so I ordered hummus with falafel and a fatuous salad. The only thing good were the sour vegetables that came and pita. Hummus had too much tahini was bitter and the salad was a wannabe fatuous as i eat all the time arab cuisine. I also had malabie the dessert and that one saved the night. I would not recommend and i don t understand the good reviews. Probably the don’t know how it suppose to be.

I loved this cafe as I have found it hard at times to get good vegetarian food in the Philippines. The falafel plate was delicious, especially the chilli sauce that comes on the side. Coffee was very good and they have almond milk! (Hooray)
Will definitely be going back.

Came from breakfast and it wasn’t all that but we kept seeing the dishes on the lunch menu so came back and we weren’t disappointed!
We chose a few dishes from the different sections of the menu and loved them! The only one that was lacking flavour was the Falafel sandwiches (pita) they weren’t great and we left a whole one.
The hamschuka curry was so good and we had the spinach and feta baked dish too. Both really nice to eat with pita, we got some fries to fill it all out and they were incredible. Super thinly sliced and puffed up nice and crunchy. Definitely recommend for an easy vegetarian meal. Be warned there are dishes labelled Vegetarian that have fish - seems to be a common misconception over here

Wasn't our first choice but this tiny bar caught our eye because of the design plus one of the staff, Ellen, was handing out free mini falafels to taste.
Price of the drinks are more suited to high end bars in Metro Manila - so a bit pricey considering it's a simple open air bar. But the friendliness of the staff mage us forget it.
Thank you too Ellen, Mitch and Beverly for entertaining is that night.

Moroccan cuisine is something quite unknown to most Filipinos, but at Happiness Beach Bar you'll get a chance to try and appreciate it. Try their hummus with falafel meat balls. It's a place's favorite. The waiter recommended it to me and I loved it
As to the beach bar itself, it's a bit small, with only a few seats. The upper floors of the building are used as a hostel. It's not really beachfront because there's a restaurant between it and the beach proper. It's located along a rather narrow street. However, the place is located right in the middle of the El Nido town proper, near other restaurants and shops.

Really delicious food! We went for a sharing dip platter and the sharwama chicken bowl, and shakshuka curry dishes. They were all really tasty. They were serving food late - we ate around 10pm and it was no problem. Great atmosphere in the bar, if a little too loud music to hear each other. Very quick service.

Very nice and cozy restaurant in the heart of El Nido town. Service was great, shakes were amazing, but the drinks and the food we tried were just ok. The curry shakshouka was actually very interesting, little spicy, tasty, but way too small. The meze platter was nicely presented, but all the dips had something off. None of the them was particularly bad, but none of them was outstanding either. The pita bread served with both of them had also room for improvement.
