We were a group of 8, sat down for lunch having just arrived and checked in. We ordered food and drinks. We waited over an hour for food to arrive and one of our friends ordered a club sandwich which just never came. We followed...up literally 20 times to different people and it never arrived. The cocktails and music were great! Comfortable seating with a good view of the beach and sunset. Food was also good however, it took 1.5hrs for our potato wedges (fries) to be served, we had to follow up multiple times, they said it was served...to the wrong table an hour from when we ordered, then took another 30 mins for them to served. On one visit, we ordered cocktails after happy hour, we knew and were okay with that, we just wanted more drinks. Three different servers came back to clarify our orders. At the end of the visit, our initial receipt was wrong as it had items that we did not get, and then after paying, when we were about to leave, they came to us to say that the item on the second page wasn’t charged. Would still go back for the vibe, food. And drinks. But please look into the service because the serving time issues wasn’t a first for us.More
Luckily we paid no attention to old reviews!! This is probably the most comfortable place in el nido. The staff a quick and attentive the foods great and unlike other reviews I’ve seen them openly petting the dogs which look very we fed!! We were in El nido to celebrate my Dad's birthday and i reserved a dinner by the beach to them. They were so cool, the setup is nice, they even have a Happy Birthday banner and a birthday crown for my dad. The food were...amazing, we loved it. esp. pizza and burger! the best. The view was sunset and beach.It was perfect! We would definitely dine here when we visit el nido again.More

Cute beach front restaurant with excellent food! Tried the following: - Pork ribs, which came with a side of potato fries and some bbq sauce. The meat was tender and tasty. - Chicken inasal, which had that perfect smoky taste. Came with a side of...atchara and rice. - Chicken Quesadillas, stuffed full of tomatoes, onions, chicken and cheese. Yum! We had a long stay in El Nido and were very lucky to have to come to Beach Shack at the start of our trip. With an amazing view, great food, and amazing hosts in Tita B and Tita Lou. You really must come

Few places are open for business at the moment due to covid causing lack of tourism. This place is situated on the perfect maremegmeg beach. Relaxed atmosphere, good food, great drinks and very friendly welcoming staff. We came twice during a 4 night stay. Very...clean, great toilets in comparison to other places. This would be great to watch sunset, the evening we spent there was cloudy, but the restaurant decorations still made it picturesque. Highly recommend.More

I don't know why some people disappointed. I have chose after visiting all places for relax to stay at Beach Shack and believe me, good food, many people come to eat there, About dogs, this dogs are all over the beach but not disturbing and...staff use water gone some times to make they go away, not stones as I read. I spent four days relaxing there, with good music, food and good service. Promise!More
Went here for dinner. Ordered a chicken quesadilla, it came out cold! 5 mins later the same one came out warmed, even though I asked for a fresh one. They also THREW ROCKS AT THE DOGS to get them to leave. The dogs were not...harming anyone, just laying there. They are only hungry and desperate. To the staff - DO NOT HURT THE DOGS PLEASE. Disgusting behaviour. Don’t eat here.More
The staff were throwing stones at the stray dogs to get them to move on and laughing at them as they did it!! We couldn’t believe so we shouted at them to stop as they were hurting the dogs and they came up with some...lame excuse. I dread to think what they do when there are no customers. The food was cold and they just went and microwaved it when we told them, despite it being meat.More
We being waiting more than 40 min for a coke . We order a sandwich without ham and they bring with ham . We ask more than 3 times for the bathroom and nobody show us the way . The nachos was without any sauce...and in the menu is wrote with sauce .More
We spent quite a few hours here one day towards the end of June. They have cold beers, and a nice relaxed vibe. The menu was quite varied with western dishes and a few vegetarian options. I had the spaghetti with pesto and a salad,...they were both well prepared and a decent portion size. The sea by the shack is rocky so you need to be careful if you're walking barefoot in the water. There were lots of colourful fish swimming in the shallow water by the sand. We ended up staying for the sunset and it was worth the wait, you have an excellent view from here.More
