Went here for late dinner as it was one of the very few places that was open at the time. It was cheap but the food was so-so. Food portion is big- if you order soup, its already good for two to three!!
IBR had a big selection and provided us hungry and weary customers with delicious and cheap authentic Filipino food. I am a self proclaimed shake connoisseur and their Banana shake was Deeeellliiiccciiioouss!
This restaurant is definitely one to pin on your food map for El Nido. Service in the phils is mostly average or too much. But I was here for the food and the food was as traditional and as tasty as it gets. Most of...the food in El Nido is average or below but we consider IBR to delicious with fare prices and good portions. I dont think becase your a foreigner you get treated any differently... maybe its your attitude. Just smile and be kind and the world does the same right back. To miss out on IBR whilst you’re in el nido would mean you’re just another over expecting backpacker.
Try the pancit for sure!!More
This restaurant prioritise foreigners. How discriminating! While waiting for our order I saw the waiter looking at the table number of the foreigners next to us and after few minutes, they serve their food even if we were there first and already made our order...even before those foreigners arrived. We did several follow ups but our order were served 1 hour after. Very horrible. I feel bad for being treated like that by our fellow filipino in my own country.More
My friends and I went here a couple of times because they had really tasty and hearty Phillipino food. It was also easily the cheapest place we ate at in El Nido. The most we spent was around 600 for 4 dishes + rice between...3 people. The pork sisig and vermicelli noodle dish (forgot the local name) are a must have. Definitely would recommend to any travellers looking for a satisfying feed.More
As the title says, the food is quite tasty and cheap, but I waited for 50 minutes for a small bowl of noodle soup. I think the waitress actually gave my order to someone else. But my partner waited over 30 minutes for fish curry...and rice. I think the kitchen is tiny.More
Had Filipino breakfast here twice during my stay in El Nido. You can't go wrong with longsilog (Filipino breakfast sausage with egg and garlic rice). Open 24 hours which is great if you have an early dive. Service is a little slow and staff could...be a little more attentive, but if you're looking for local food at a decent price, then this is your place!More
