Went for an 8 course taster menu with the Mrs, it was delicious. Set in the roof of a massive bamboo hut type thing, with open kitchen to see all chefs hard at work.
Front of house very friendly and knowledgeable too.
It was all tasty, 4 seafood dishes & 4 veggie dishes. It was a combo of Pilipino & French fine dining mix and worked Beautifully! Highlights for me was the calm tarte thing, tuna tar tar taco, Tortang Talong (Aubergine with egg type dish with loads of different flavours) , something called Magic of Flowers (so many different flavours my mouth exploded and I said “Wow” very loudly)
Cost was 2500 pesos (£41) for the food. worth every penny. The did offer a cocktail flight to accompany each course but we had a couple of wines & beers

Taas is a unique surprising chef restaurant. The service is superb the food is unique, creative, beautiful and delicious.
We ate the 8 courses set menu dinner. The chef adjusted the menu especially for us and made it vegetarian (need to give a notice in advance). The service was great. As an overall it was a great surprise to find such a great restaurant in El Nido.

We’re a couple from London, and self confessed foodies! When we heard Taas had just opened we happened to be diving in El Nido, so we had to check it out. Overall a fantastic dining experience - the restaurant changes its menu weekly, so we were the first to try some new dishes.
Really interesting flavour combinations, a good mix of Philippine and more European food ideas, and some of the dishes we were raving about after! Don’t recognise any of the comments about the food being too salty - everything was well balanced for us 🙌
Particular shout out for the pairing cocktails, the spinach soup with mussel foam, and the pumpkin and aubergine dishes - but to be honest every course was high standard and the sort of quality we’d expect back home on a tasting menu.
Service was the best we’d had in the Philippines (by far), and the team & the French chef who owns the place made us feel very welcome.
Really recommend checking this out, there’s nothing else in El Nido quite like it!

Delicious 6 course meal with cocktail pairing. Waiter, Mark (?), was very knowledgeable about each dish and we loved the use of fresh and local ingredients! Every dish was so flavorful and beautiful. Staff was so friendly and even allowed us to take a group photo with them to remember such a lovely dinner ◡̈ highly recommend for a fancy dinner experience in El Nido.

This place is perfect for those who wants to explore new flavors of foods here in El Nido, Palawan. The chef Jeremy is a good Chef I’ve say, he created the dish with a local ingredients that depends on what is availability of the place. I really love to heard from him the best practices of helping local farmers both land and sea, I told you, this is the restaurant that I’ve visited here in El Nido that’s brings you more experience not just only for Food, Taste, Service, and also for your time here in El Nido. You must visit this place, don’t miss it if you are here in El Nido.
We really enjoyed our dinner and thanks for giving us a wonderful dinner.
Good job to all staff! I hope when I come back you’re all still in this restaurant!

Very very good, for a somewhat exceptional evening. Recommended by Europeans who have lived here for many years. High-level, refined local cuisine: a gastronomic dinner that is certainly a different experience from what can be found in El Nido. Very friendly waiters, kind and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes and ingredients used

Very very very special
The most expensive of our trip, but also the weirdest!
A menu, finally a table difficult to understand: 6 dishes, some of which are imposed, you just have to like what they offer.
Minimalist quantities and no change of cutlery between dishes!
Risky dessert-style taste combinations of cucumber sorbets and other tasteless things!
No smoking at the table although outdoors
In short, to enjoy yourself, go opposite, to La Plage it costs half, the staff is professional and the atmosphere is much friendlier

Obviously, you cannot expect the level of Spanish haute cuisine, see, to compare it with any Michelin star in Spain. That said, and that the assessment is objectively with respect to general cuisine in the Philippines, the chef, French by birth, cooks some quite complex and accomplished dishes, ensuring that you enjoy haute cuisine in a country where it is practically impossible to find anything similar. . It is a set menu of 6 or 8 dishes, expensive for Filipinos, cheap for haute cuisine.
Ideal for an elegant and special dinner on your trip.

Amazing Degustation Restaurant in El Nido, we got all 8 courses with their Special Cocktails pairing, and it was our the best experience that we had here in El nido with my friends. The Staff was so accommodating and very Hospitable, I love the ambiance that perfectly match to the quiet dinner. Salute to the chef and to all staff. Must recommend and must visit here in El Nido, Palawan.

Amazing Gastronomic restaurant located under a charming typical natural roof . The French chef Jeremy and his team will delight you with refined dishes revisited in local colours. The sea cicada is delicious, as the smoked fish starter. The gourmet menu is just great . Service is efficiënt and Quick .

Truly exceptionnal experience. The French chef manages an incredibly varied and rich menu based on local fish, meat, vegetables and fruits. The available options are between an 8 and 6 course menu, with or without combination with 3 different cocktails along the way. We chose the fullest option and did not regret it for a minute. You just cannot get better and more creative food in El Nido. The chef would amply deserve recognition by international food guides.

Having been to a few Michelin restaurants - this experience was right up there! The 8 course tasting menu with the cocktail pairing was a fantastic experience.
I believe the menu changes regularly in line with local produce / availability - but what we had was fantastic.
Highly recommend in El Nido if you enjoy the fine dining experience!

One of the nicest meals we’ve ever had. We had the whole place just to us, and it was a real treat - especially the tequila cocktail pairing and the tuna bao burger. We also had a lovely waiter called Mike. 100% go here, great spot.
