The food is alright (got tapsilog two days)... but the quality kinda varies as well as the amount. First day it was dry and not that much and the second day it was wayyy better and more meat. (Only ordered it two days in a row because thats all they had for filipino breakfast besides the fish). The coffee is actually pretty good. However... The service is awful. Super slow, people who came after me got served first. Took twenty minutes for menu, twenty to get my order, twenty to get a check. Nobody came to pick up the check so i ended up walking to the counter because they kept ignoring me although i was waving and saying excuse me to get their attention. Unless u are staying at the hostel avoid.

Staff make you feel uncomfortable.

I went to Hub for an afternoon snack with my partner, we ordered cheese sticks and chicken satay. The food was not great but was not too bad either - the chicken was dry. The main issue was the staff. When we arrived we looked at 3 or 4 staff members close to the cashier doing absolutely nothing and not even acknowledging our presence. After few minutes having a good laugh one of them decided to give us the menu. We had to ask if we could have a table as he never offered us one, although the place was completely empty. The guy was quite arrogant and had a smirk smile on his face. Not enough, this same guy decided to stand beside our table staring and laughing at us for no apparent reason. We ate there cause it was close to our accommodation but the staff make you feel uncomfortable all the time.

Ordered chicken skewers and a noodle dish which was ok I guess. Staff seem completely uninterested in anything so that’s disappointing

Terrible Service

Waiters are unaccomodating of their Filipino customers. They are unclear and racially biased in the way that they talk to Filipino customers in contrast with their foreign guests. We understand that they would cater to foreigners but we pay just as good money. Terrible service.

Great tacos!

Came for breakfast in Jan and wasn’t expecting much we just stopped wherever we saw first. I had the breakfast tacos and asked for no bacon to make them vegetarian they were super flavoursome! Nice and spicy. Partner had an English breakfast which was a good size and cooked well. Nice coffee too.

Good cheap eats

Delicious food, lots of options including filipino, Mexican, western etc., we ate here twice during our 4 day stay and left satisfied both times!

I stayed at frendz hostel for 3 days so it made sense to visit the restaurant that’s here. One night I ordered a frozen margarita during happy hour and waited 45 minutes as I watched people order much later than me and got their drinks relatively quickly. They forgot my order and when I told the waiter to cancel my order as I had been waiting for a long time they didn’t even apologise. As frustrated as I was I understood as it was busy and I guess these things can happen. The next day (much quieter, no more than 15 people in the restaurant area) I ordered a coffee. Waited 20 minutes and asked the lady that had served me if My coffee was going to be much longer and she clearly had forgotten and then made it herself. One time on a busy night yes I can let it slide but two times in a row left a bad taste in my mouth, which is funny as the food they served had no taste to it whatsoever. Ordered the pancit bichon and had no flavour which is a shame as it’s a lovely Filipino dish that I would normally recommend but maybe not from this restaurant. Coffee was really nice just a shame that the service isn’t great.

Best coffee in El Nido and good breakfast menu

Had the porridge, was yummy but asked for an extra banana as not much fruit with it. My friend had tacos which were also good but not that filling so she had to order another breakfast. Staff really friendly but food did take a little while to come out. Went back again for their coffee 😊

Worst breakfast ever!

My friend and I both ordered a breakfast with eggs, baked beans, grilled tomatoes and bread. I opted against the sausages having been told to avoid pork. The service was slow, took over 40mins and people got served before us, and the breakfast was COLD. when told it was cold, they reheated the beans, took over ten mins to come back by which time the rest of the food was cold. When addressing our issues to the waiter, we got completely ignored. Very, very disappointed.

Best Food in El Nido

Food is amazing. Menu has everything you could want from Thai to Mexican and everything in between. Say HI to Nikko, he’s awesome! Atmosphere and music make it very comfortable. Just GO!!

Nice atmosphere, very warm stuff

Perfect place to chill, huge area to sit down, eat, drink or work by the computer. Food is awesome, fresh and tasty. I have stayed for 1week in El Nido so I had my breakfast in Hub at least 5 times. Would highly recommend!

Amazing Meat

I stayed at the frendz hostel and had dinner here every day. The food was always really good and fresh. Especially the meat dishes tasted great! I had their Argentinian Tender Loin and the slow cook rips ... really great. Another night they were cooking Tacos at the rooftop pool, also very yummy! So I really enjoyed every day there! I was shocked when I looked the Hub up at tripadvisor and saw all the bad reviews. I had such a different experience and can truely recommend this place!

I almost died

Ordered some vegetarian mexican food (two different dishes) and we both got the worst food poisoning of our life. We were vomiting and pooping all night and it ruined our plans for the rest of our time spent in El Nido. Service was mediocre.

Far the best!!!

Great speciality coffee,delicious variety of international and local food,Breakfast is a must to try.... love their vegan and healthy smoothie option. With a big plus for fast and reliable internet that i can imagine with my visit in Elnido.special mentioned to their friendly Baristas who always make my coffee with such a consistent wonderful taste.Highly recommended.
