Great Pizza and Lasagna. The service is good and prices are more than reasonable. The only small downside is that it is a bit away from the beach, but if you look for truly Romanian cuisine, look no further than this.

We stayed in El Nido for 5 nights and we discovered the restaurant after 2 days, so yes, we have been 3 times for dinner and that was amazing, we are Italian and it felt like being in Italy. We recommend the restaurant and especially...the Pinsa which is just lovely. Pasta alla norma were delicious too. Great place, it is a pity we discovered it after 2 days!!More
Actually a very nice ambience and proper table cloths in this small authentic italian restaurant. Great choice of pasta’s and pizza’s. we got cacio pepe and rigatonni carbonara, and it did not disappoint. It came al dente too so you know these guys are proper!!...Would defo come back again when visiting El Nido!More
After dining at Bella Vita a few nights before we fancied Italian again but wanted to give here a try for a change. We saw the really good reviews (on par with Bella Vita) so we’re disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered...bruschetta as a main as I wasn’t too hungry and my husband ordered a lasagne. The beer and wine arrived - both lovely, perfectly chilled and great value. My bruschetta arrived and I asked how long my husband’s lasagne would be as I’d asked for both to arrive together and they said 5 mins (it was about another 10-15 but an easy mistake to make as I’d made as awkward choice of turning a starter into a main). My bruschetta didn’t have any basil on and instead lots of black pepper - it tasted like salty peppery bread. I asked if there was any basil and they said no (even though it was listed on the menu against the bruschetta). They kindly offered me the choice to swap so I asked for the menu and at that point the basil arrived - yay! It may sound like a little thing but it made all the difference and the bruschetta was actually quite tasty (although not half as good as Bells Vita’s). Another tiny thing - it was served in a bowl so was quite difficult to cut (a plate would have been so much easier). My husband’s lasagne arrived. It was SO dry. The waitresses didn’t come back to check everything was ok so he just put up with it as he didn’t want us to complain a 2nd time. We did get a discount due to the timings and bruschetta and the staff were really helpful. The pizzas we saw on the way out looked amazing (really authentic crust) so if you’re going to come I’d suggest perhaps sticking to those? I don’t often do bad reviews but wanted to in this case as I felt just a few small tweaks and the experience could have been quite the opposite.More
Reading such a review really hurts, so much anger that accompanies you on your holiday ... Unfortunately sometimes our workers are wrong and we receive bad reviews because it is not easy to always have the same workers, they often change, they are young at...More
It was tasty, but too overpriced. Just a good pasta, with real Italian Parmesan, but it should not costs 350-600 pesos! My Ravioly consist of rude spinach, was not tasty at allMore
thanks for the review. the prices for the pasta are not high,if you are an expert and you eat in italy you can understand it.the pasta that I normally use is De cecco that to have it here is very expensive, the parmigiano reggiano that...More
For being in el Nido, it is a good place to enjoy italian food. Although at times they don’t have everything their menu claims (this time, they had run out of pepperoni for the diavola pizza, which might be unforgivable), the service is fast, quality...is good and pizzas are more than sizeableMore
We went there a few days ago... We liked the place. The Menu was a big promise ! An intro saying that this place was the only true Italian restaurant in El Nido... It's not true ! We stayed in El Nido for 10 days...and we experienced many restaurant for lunch and dinner. So pretending to be the best is a real challenge ! We took two pizzas. Awfully thick and salty. We didn't finish them. Saltimbocca, the beef was so chewy, we didn't finish either. The San Pellegrino was ok !More
Hi, I'm sorry and I apologize if the food has not been to your liking, now I will talk to my workers and try to understand what may have happened to the salt in the pizzas. The meat of the saltimbocca is local beef, it...More
I will try to make it short for this review, the restaurant “ Ristorante La Lupa “ is a MUST for every Italian and non visiting El Nido. It is the best Italian restaurant I have been in Asia so far. Also the place specialise...in the ROMAN cousin . Here I had one of the BEST pasta alla carbonara in the last couple of years. It is made the proper way, no cheddar, no cream, no other cheeses but just the authentic one, PECORINO. And of course HIS MAJESTY : Guanciale The restaurant presents itself very well and food quality is excellent. You just go and try out, you won’t regret it. Forza Magica AlessandroMore
Grazie mille Alessandro, sempre forza Roma!!!
4 of us ate here. Great pasta, lovely pizza, all with top level ingredients. Big cold Peroni beers, and crispy white wine. Everything was spot on. Happy staff too, which always helps. Cheers folks. Well played!
Thank you for your feedback and sempre Forza Roma!!!!
We ordered a pizza margherita, some fried vegetables, eggplants with parmezan cheese (mellanzane alla parmiggiana) and handmade ravioli with ricotta cheese and spinach in tomato sauce with parmezan also the water is san pellegrino wich is authentic italian water. This is one of the best...restaurants to visit in el nido, cooked healthy with natural ingredients and I could even say that the taste is original roman taste. To some, used with industrially processed food, with excessive salt added and other chemical taste enhancers, the taste might seem bland but in fact, this is the real taste of the healthy food, homemade/ handmade. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and seemed strange but it got crowded pretty fast -it was us coming maybe too early. Espresso ristretto and limoncello were spectacular ... We will return again and again and again ... we used the restaurant good free wifi to write this review ( the whole family contributed )More
Many thanks guys for this wonderful review, it was a pleasure to have you here!!!
