The restaurant was higly recommended by the locals of Puerto Princessa and thus we had to try it out. From the outside, it is not recognizable but when you enter it feels like you are in someone’s home. You need to remove your shoes as...everyone walks barefoot inside the restaurant. The restaurant serves fresh seafood from fish, squid to even havinf lobsters. We did not expect to have such a wonderful time eating here that we had to cone back for another round. The seafood they serve are all fresh and perhaps was caught on the same day. This is perhaps one of the highlight that we had in our trip to Puerto PrincessaMore

This is a really delicious restaurant with great menu and great service. We had the grilled marlin, Kinilaw, Tubbataha salad, and flan. Everything was flawless and tasty. The restaurant is also beautiful to look at. The wood and bamboo construction, filled with artwork and water...features, this would be a cool place to visit if only for a drink and dessert, just to take everything in. I highly recommend this place and it would be a great place for a date.More

Shuttle setting, fine dining , clean & neat uniquely ambient conditions with additional artistic good foods. We ordered a few seafood items and must say and recommend their menu for seafood lovers. The hospitality is nice and the best part of my visit was that...they provided me my curated request for certain cuisines and they gladly made it. Thank you all , it was a good experience overall.More

On our last day in PuertoPrincessa, our tour guide recommended this restaurant. So we went there and had the best seafood in our entire holiday. We ordered grilled squid, seafood tempura and grilled shrimps. It was delicious!. We could not finish everything because the portion...is also big. I cannot understand to some reviews we read that the food is pricey. No it is not. The food is worth the price. Tot ziens KaLui Filipino couple from The NetherlandsMore

The Kare Kare seafood was very ordinary consisted of 2 small prawns and liquid. My wife is a Filipino Chef and complained to staff, Later a half coconut appeared with cut fruit in it as some sort of gift apology? The fruit was brown on...surface probably a day old so it was no good to eat anyway. No verbal apology was offered regarding the amount of seafood in the Kare Kare. The squid I had myself was not cooked properly a bit raw inside and it was not cleaned properly and tasted very ordinary. Our opinion of the food is Cons - Over priced for the amount of food and over rated in reviews as this food does not stand out in flavor. Pros- The premises are clean and atmosphere good.More

First time here, but very nice experience. Good food, nice ambiance and we felt very welcome too. Barefoot restaurant with lots of nicely decorated tables to choose from. Mostly Seafood and fish in the menu. Had the tubataha salad as appetizer, tuna and seaweed, lots...of papaya and mango with cashew. In this combination not common, but still liked it. Shake and Longdrink for 120-150 Pesos fairly priced. Had sizzling seafood and eel adobo. Both nice taste, eel the better choice, portions a bit small though. Also rice should be inclusive, not to be ordered extra. Service charge comes on top also. Fresh fish by weight quiet expensive in my opinion. Half kilo shrimp was 1.540php, which is a lot for Philippines, where you get that for 200php at the market. No wine sold by the glass, only bottle. Think that could be improved. Overall nice experience and for us the much better choice than for instance very busy Ka Inato opposite the street, where I really miss the service and even left yesterday as no one helped us for 20 minutes. Not cheap, but different than the others. We will definitely be back.More

We were lucky we got dinner booking 1 hour before. I couldn’t get the call through but our hotel booked for us. Restaurant was full . Nice setting good service. And relatively cheap for standard of food we get. We got no more time left...otherwise we would have gone there again. So it’s a must for visitors to go at least once .More

We went here on a Saturday night. The place was busy, but not crowded. You are required to remove your shoes at the door. Decor and background music is classic Filipino. My Filipino friends consider this one of their Top Two restaurants in Puerto. I...prefer Western foods & would not put this in my Top 5. Quality, service & pricing are ll excellent.More

Kalui is one of the top restaurants in town for the last 25 years or more. It just reopened after being closed for 3 years due to covid and a lack of tourists. We were there tonight and we were still treated to 5 excellent...meals which were all about the same price as 3 years ago.More

The last time I was this happy with a restaurant was when I had dinner in Aspic, a restaurant which earned a Michelin star a few months later. Keep up the good work! Who knows, they might eventually earn a Michelin bib or even a...star. Now allow me to enumerate why I love this place: 1. Delicious food! I don't eat eggplants but their eggplant tempura was exquisite! Crisp, no trace of greasiness and served with a sauce that tastes similar to chili. Blue Marlin steak was served straight out of the pan, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Buttered prawns and fish roll in coco cream were also excellent. For the drinks I had Calamansi-Ginger shake which is refreshing and invigorating. 2. Cozy-artsy ambiance This is an open air restaurant in which you have to go barefoot. The entire restaurant is filled with numerous artworks by local artists, and is surrounded by a charming well-maintained garden. 3. Great service We arrived at 13:30 and they were supposed to close by 14:00, yet they still entertained us. Service was fast, got everything in less than 15 minutes. They were also friendly and invited us to check out the other artworks that we might have missed after we had our lunch. 4. Reasonable prices There is even a meal for two that costs PHP 795 (15.90 USD) 5. Accessible It is along Rizal Avenue and I think every tricycle driver knows this place Reminder: They are open from Monday to Saturday at 11:00 to 14:00 for lunch and 18:00 to 23:00 for dinner.More
