Pleasant Staff Tasty Food

The food was wholesome, tasty and served within a reasonable time frame. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Prices were very reasonable for a popular tourist destination. Recommended!

An oasis of Europe in Philippines. Not to be missed.

Really a nice touch in the Phils. Lovely set up with a bit of a terrace as close to Europe as you will get here. Real good coffee, bread, oil etc. Food is great, very Italian. Wide asst. of Italian dishes. Fresh ingredients well prepared.

Nice pizza and friendly service...

I finally stopped into Caffe Italia the other day and had a pizza for lunch. Pizza was tasty and enough for two people at a reasonable price. Waitress was quite friendly and made my dining experience there very pleasurable. I talked to a friend who happened to be eating there as well and he said all the food served there was pretty good, guess I'll be back to try their other dishes.

Food is just magnificent and sevice plus with a idealic setting on the beach. You need not ask for more. The owner is very involved and was a delight to chat with. Great eating experience one of the best.

it was a great surprise! we stopped here for a coffee , a real one, the first one after one week ! the day after we came back for the late lunch the carbonara pasta were super good and tasty better than some italian restaurant in europe! service is good, the owner is friendly, good selection of italian product, located near the town market ! just so good

Nice little restaurant with authentic italian dishes. Prices are resonable, the italian chef cooks with his love and heart ! The calamazi lemonade was housmade and delicious ! Outstanding friendly service !

we went inside the dining room, dog welcome you ...!!! after a lady not smile at all, the restaurant is empty, cold , no atmosphere. food is not so good, My wife had some pasta bolognese no taste, the meet is totally melted, i had a pizza with Can mushroom (no taste), i have put more spiced oil to had a kind of taste. waste of time and money to go in this restaurant

Best Pizza in PG

We had our August outreach meeting here for the first time. The staff is extremely friendly and the pizza was some of the best I have ever eaten.

I have tried the margherita with funghi and it was excellent. On a second occasion I tried pasta ai 4 formaggi and t was also excellent so two thumbs up from me.

Casa italia (the best italian food for me)

I always visited here with my boyfriend. I love to eat here and very nice owner and they have good staff. They know everything inside there menu. They know how to explain (waitress). The food is not so expensive. Its affordable. #comehereandenjoytheFOOD

Worst dinner during our three weeks in the Philippines. The atmosphere, the service and the food let us down. Half of what we ordered wasn't available, without offering an alternative. One of us was served the main course while others were still waiting for their starter. My pizza was missing over half of the promised ingredients, because "the market is already closed" (it was 19:30). Another pizza was completely forgotten, and when we asked for it, we couldn't get it anymore because take-away orders get priority. Moreover they never came to us to ask us whether everything was OK (maybe they knew it wasn't) or to ask us for drinks. The pizzas had the crust of a cheap frozen pizza. Overall, is far from Italian and Filipino standards. Don't go here!

Maybe it was just a very bad day?

We stopped here for a random lunch only for one afternoon and maybe it was an off day given all the fantastic reviews. We ordered a ciabatta and a vegetarian spaghetti with a tomato sauce.The ciabatta was stale and as hard as plastic. The pasta dish tasted and smelled of fish?? When we asked the server to smell the dish she agreed it smelled of fish. We asked how this could be and she didn't know. And that was the end of the conversation. Trying to pay and leave took longer than the food did to arrive, as all the staff (and the owner?) were obsessed by a take-out sandwich order from another customer. Meanwhile another table of 4 sat without food for at least 30 minutes. If this place ever gets busy (more than 3 tables) I would genuinely be worried about fed that day. Our experience was the food was not what we ordered (fish flavored vegetarian pasta) and the service slow incredibly slow and disinterested.

Best Restaurant in town, authentic Italian

Went to CASA ITALIA aka FELLINI and was shocked at how good it was. The Pizza are big, authentic, quality toppings and not expensive at all. We also shared a "tomahawk" steak, it was fantastic. They had just made some homemade sausage and we had some with olive oil, fresh bread and balsamic...yummy

Unassuming Italian restaurant in Puerto Galera town. The modest exterior hides a culinary delight. We had bruschetta to start with was deluscios, very garlicky on crisped baguette. Good start. Next up pizza. We over ordered by having one each but we wanted different types. Both were amazing, light crisp crust with just a touch of doughiness with great favours. Too much for one sitting but cold the next morning for breakfast they were still a treat. We will be back to try their highly rated pastas next time.
