It was our Valentine's last minute pick and we didn't regret. Place is down a hill with easy access, reaching the beach but it was night time therefore have to revisit it during day time to enjoy the excellent location of this resort in Sabang....Lebanese Shawarma was nice but the chicken Indian curry was from another planet. We waited quite a bit to get our plates but was definitively worth it! The passion for cuisine and to do things right is there, no questions about it and the reviews here are talking by themselves. Congrats Chef! They do offer a 550PHP Breakfast formula, we may head there one Sunday. :-)More

We visited this restaurant January 2ed. We arrived by boat. It was difficult for the boat man to find since there was another resort in the next bay called Mangrove. If you are going ask for Edgewater. We chose this place because of the menu...that was very varied with dishes from different countries. A more upscale resort/ restaurant than we are used to, but definitely worth the price. Come to think of it, it might have been cheaper than the food joints at White Beach. For sure it was way out of their league. Follow the edgewater sign...leading off to the left on the road to Sabang, walk through the beautiful resort and enjoy peace, tranquility, beauty and good food. Truly an exceptional spot on Mindoro. Located in a little mangrove filled bay, the rest of the resort looks stunning as well. When asked if they cater to vegetarians they replied stating they don’t use MSG’s, have vegan and vegetarian options and they can work outside of the menu with one day advance notice. We didn’t make use of this last option, since in the two times we visited there was enough to choose from. The second time we visited Anne the waitress greeted us by name and she was altogether wonderful and helpful. Hope management knows they have a little jewel working for them. We tried the tofu green curry, vegetable soup (with vegetable stock), arabic mezze platter, the bruschetta and meat eating hubby had the chicken shawarma with a delicious garlic sauce that he fell in love with and chicken kebab with dill potato salad. Everything was superb. Great tastes and wonderful service. The only thing that could use some improvement was their cappuccinos. Good taste but no froth whatsoever. But considering the quality of the rest this is very much forgiven.More

We staying for three nights in the edge and water resort, and eat every breakfast, lunch and dinner over here (magrove restaurant is part of the edge and water resort). The food was really good and fresh! I loved the yellow fin tuna steak, the...tuna sahsimi and the magrove burger with blue cheese 😍 The staff was so sweet and kind.. I want to recomment this place to everyone! And what a nice view!More

The restaurant offers a large selection of delicious food. The view from the terrace to the bay is beautiful. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The prices are reasonable.

If your planning your first visit in Puerto Galera, Edge Water is the best place to book your accommodation. The relax environment, food,room, friendly staffs and management will be remarkable experience. I will definitely return to this place.

Modern Asian selections, along with classy Western dishes. The staff are friendly and attentive. The view from the restaurant and deck seating is amazing. You can also ask to eat out on a floating deck-house on the bay.

I've been there several times with family and friends and always enjoy coming back. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is great. I love candles on the tables and the other small details that this restaurnant does. Meals...are delicious and creative.More

Stayed 4 nights at Edgewater and never felt the need to eat anywhere else but Mangroves. From amazing breakfasts to bar snacks to sumptuous dinners this place just excels. Sebastian the chef and his team of staff were helpful, knowledgeable and so friendly. The Middle...Eastern mezze and steaks were the highlights for me plus the ambience with the deck over the water is fantastic. Ive experienced plenty of restaurants in the Phillipines and Mangroves is a real gem. Its five star quality in a beautiful bay at a lovely boutique resort sets a standard for others in the area which fall well short. Its no wonder its so highly rated by other reviewers as well as myself.More

We had our sunset dinner at Mangroves Restaurant and it was nice. We ordered Steak with mashed potato and salad,it was perfect. Plus our dessert- a carrot cake with vanilla ice cream,yum! Staffs was friendly and they make sure that all guests are ok. Lovely...place! Only 5 minutes by jeepney or by trike from Sabang Beach- Tell to the driver to drop you off by Edge Water Dive Resort. On a dive holiday staying at Edgewater Dive & Spa Resort our post dive munchies were dealt with by a good menu in the resort restaurant, Mangroves. Having travelled and dived all over the Philippines most hotels and resorts, good, bad or mediocre, all generally...fall down on the catering. It was a pleasant and welcome surprise that the chef at Mangroves ran an excellent kitchen with a well thought out and varied menu. Great house burger; lovely lamb tagine; succulent satay; extremely moreish tempura ice cream. Happy days.More
