My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in early April 2023. I initially booked on Booking.com, and as soon as I booked, CJ (from 7th Heaven) whatsapp'd me to start coordinating my our arrival. She helped us book a van from Baguio to Banaue, and was available to answer all questions the entire time leading up to our arrival. They set up personalized daily tours for us to the various rice terraces, hot springs, etc. Basically they took care of everything for us. Wifi was good. Showers were warm. Free cookies on certain afternoons... Just absolutely great. They even arranged travel for us to the closest airport 3 hours away for us to get back to Manila. They have 4 rooms, so not a huge place, and that keeps it nice and intimate. The only downside I can think of is the local dogs parking often throughout the night. I'm a light sleeper, so it was somewhat annoying, but that's just part of life in the Philippines, so I can't be too upset about it. If you're staying in Banaue and don't need a 5 star resort, definitely book here. The staff is so wonderful. Tell CJ that Steve sent ya! :)

We stayed there for 2 nights and had a great time. The staff is lovely, breakfast and meals were good. The rooms are simple yet clean and comfy. You can also ask for Emman if you need a guide around the region, he is great.

We stayed here 11/16 to 11/19 2023. Rooms, service, location par excellence, bar none. Louillen's resourcefulness, personableness, and entrepreneurial savvy is evidenced in vision and detail. Overall the Lodge is a "one-stop-shop" providing food and lodging, transportation, and concierge service (guided tours). Who could ask for more? The staff friendliness and skill sets are matched perfectly to their roles. Rooms are clean with a warm, rustic feel and great balcony view. Location ideal, only few minutes walk to town and short drive to bus terminal. Food is a plenty with local offerings, plus. Great hot coffee. We got the "biggest-bang-for-the buck": Making the trek to Batad rice terraces all the way to Tappiyah Falls, then next day to the Hapao rice terraces/hot spring to soak the sore muscles from previous day, and dip in the invigorating river; with visits to and views along the way of Bangaan rice terraces and Banaue rice terraces as well as another day shorter visit to Hiwang Native Village -- all this with transportation and expert guides. It was a trip of a lifetime exceeding all expectations. Shout-out to David, who met us at bus station and set us up with an itinerary of our choosing within minutes of our arrival, making a super first and lasting impression. Shout out to Reginald (sp?) who filled our insatiable desire to learn and absorb as much as we could about the Ifugao people and customs. High-five to Clara (sp?), who didn't merely fulfill a task of walking us to the Falls and back, but truly guided and mentored at every twist and turn. The guide to Hapao/Hot spring also superb in wealth of knowledge and experience. Kudos to Daves (sp?) for professional driving. Addy (sp?), you personify hospitality with your welcoming presence, style, attentiveness, and anticipating needs. Kudos to the cook/s and housekeeping and whoever maintains/repairs/keeps up the lodge. The same spirit of resilience and resourcefulness that permeated the Ifugao taking up residence among the hills to survive and celebrate is demonstrated no less in the challenges and your response today. Andrew and I give heartfelt thanks to one and all.

The place can be located using waze. Roads in Ifugao are narrow and winding, there was no adequate parking space so we parked along the street. They serve regular home cooked Filipino viands: chop suey, stir fried veggies, chicken and pork. This resto although regular is better than nearby local restos. They have a veranda with a mountain view, better appreciated at daytime. Overall, will recommend this place for dining in Ifugao.

The places doesn’t look very inviting, but the food is very good. The service is below average, as the staff don’t pay attention and forget some of the orders!!! They have a lovely cat, but it’s allowed to beg food at the tables and jumps on the seats. The local staff couldn’t care less. The place get best rating of all restaurants in the area. That is totally unfair to other restaurants.

Excellent food and service - we sat on the balcony with great views - I had the honey pork and fries (the fries were great homemade fries but a bit greasy - could have done with been placed on a kitchen towel to soak the oil off). My wife had noodles but the plate was so large it could have fed a local village so sadly she left half of the plate which was a waste of food. Good food, good service and fair prices. Totally recommend!

Came in for lunch out of curiosity. At first glimpse we were a little put off by the exterior but it’s actually one of the better places in Banaue. Once you are inside all is good. For vegetarians there wasn’t really anything on the menu that I hadn’t had a thousand times during this trip already so we both just went with the blueberry pancakes because we hadn’t had blueberries in such a long time. They were really good. I ordered the tea because I saw they had twinings infusions and this was like a little bit of home. Got a small pot full and it was wonderful. We are too scarred by past coffee experiences here in the mountains to order any coffee anymore so we didn’t try this. There is a wifi signal called ‘7th heaven cafe’, but the owner said it was her private signal. This came across as very strange, why not rename it Private then? Overal this is provably a good place to grab some food.

Some of these restaurants, I feel a little bad for... Some places are getting ripped apart on Trip Advisor for being bad, and it seems like people aren’t necessarily taking ‘location’ into consideration and realizing that you won’t find 5-star resort worthy food in Banaue... What you will find, however, it decent food and lovely people. 7th Heaven was a spot we went to on our last day in Banaue. We ordered pasta, egg sandwich, fries and some vegetable soup. Overall, the food was good! We enjoyed everything that came out. If you’re going to be extremely picky, Banaue isn’t the place for you. We’re both pescatarian and we’re able to find options for us to eat! We’d recommend

We were eager to try 7th Heaven’s cafe due to the high rating on Trip Advisor, however, were disappointed when we finally tried it for breakfast. Firstly, the selection was small, they only offer pancakes, omelette and bacon. Although the view from the outdoor bar was nice, the vegetable omelette had almost no vegetables and the pancakes were too big for one person to finish. The syrup was covered with ants and the chocolate sauce on the pancakes tasted like plastic. Although it seems to be one of the most well-known restaurants in Banaue, keep your expectations low when visiting 7th Heaven’s Cafe.
