Absolutely loved this place and will definitely be coming back here if/when I come back to Korea. Our server was the owner’s wife and she was truly lovely. We spoke intermediate Korean with her and had some of the best conversations and laughs while there...(shoutout to our 언니). Actually, we had such a great experience here the first time that we came back a second time, and she remembered us! The meat tasted really good, especially the short ribs and the pork belly! The Unni there helped us grill our meat and even explained how often and when we should flip the meat so we could enjoy it the best. Offered some soups on the...house and even extra meat as well! She gave my friend a Cider for her birthday even! The sides go well with the meat and I recommend the rice with fish roe.More

My friends and I have been here twice this trip and each time was very fun. Our waitress was the owner’s wife. She was very engaging and had a great time with us. Recommend her and the wagyu beef. Will be returning next trip.

It is not big deal the place. We went first day to a much better place, less expensive and better service. The waiter was rude and took so long for everything. Not worth the visit

We were in the area 6 days and this was BY FAR the best food experience!! Very nice staff and food was excellent 💖♥️! So good! 100% recommended. We travelled all the way from Finland to this lovely place.

Lovey lady boss , Lena who speaks fluent English who guided us through the order. We ordered a wagyu beef / marinated pork plate , bean paste soup and steam eggs. We loved the meats, non marinated beef was juicy and the marinated tasty pork...was a good balance to the meats. Bean paste soup was a good start for cold weather here in April. Total meal was at 50000 won. Great value for a filling bbq dinner . It would have cost us double back in Singapore !More

It is ran by a Korean couple who both speak English so if you are worried about have a language barrier that won’t be an issue here. They are...more than open to explaining how to grill the meats properly. The meat were marinated to perfection and delicious each time I attended the restaurant. I came here three times on my trip to Korea since I loved it so so so much. I am definitely coming back on my next trip as it was delicious, convenient, and welcoming. Popped by this restaurant for dinner on a particularly cold April night as it was near our hotel and was warmly welcomed by the nice lady who works here. She spoke good English and was very friendly, recommending the meats to have and the perfect...beer+soju combination to go with the meats. Ordered 5 different meats to share and a steamed egg and every one of them was delicious - the lady came by frequently to check on us and to also help with the grilling. The place was clean and the banchan were yummy. Definitely worth a visit if around Hongdae!More
