Came in January this year and tried 2 different fried chicken places which were disappointing. We walked from Myeongdong to the nearest Kyochon chicken place and we were really happy we walked 1 km in the freezing cold to get to the place. The spicy...and soy garlic were okay but the honey chickens were really really good. The skin was crispy on the outside and the chicken was soft on the inside. We ordered a half and half wings (half spicy and half soy garlic) as well as a full wings (honey). We also ordered the cheese buns and the garlic rice. The buns were great as well. Rice was ordinary. We are a family of 4 adults and we just managed to finish what we ordered for lunch. What was surprising was the restaurant only had 3 school girls and us during lunchtime so we didn't have to queue. With kfc right below the store, it is a little hard to avoid comparing the two places. However, this location should be the one who comes out on top. We've had multiple places that serve chicken and beer, but this was so much better. Their...honey chicken was so good and addictive we could not stop. The soy chicken was a little plain though. Tteokbokki was good and spicy. They gave a good amount with a full boiled egg. Also: order from your table and pay at the counter. We were a little confused when we went.More

First time being here, good location and not hard to find. Fried chicken is good. Would be better if they can provide smaller sets. I went there with my wife and son who can't eat spicy. I recommend the wings & drumettes and don't both with the legs if you want crispy. Very good flavor, moist, and well priced for the amount you get. Sides are nice and tap local beer is good. Went for lunch with my gf, and got...the mixed basket with a side. Still needed a to-go box. Went out of our way to go, but there are some cool shopping/local eating areas nearby worth checking out. Kyochon fried chicken is well known in Korea and must try!! We ordered portion for 2 persons with half spicy and half normal soy source. We like it and is strongly recommended for people visiting Korea.

I thought KFC has the worst fried chicken, but now I regret that I didn't went for their shop around the corner. It's still better than this. We ordered drums and wings. What we got was undefined chicken parts with almost no meat. Very dry...inside and oily outside. One piece was the chicken neck. Wtf?!More

When coming to Korea, there's two things you have to try, BBQ and Fried Chicken. Kyochon is in my opinion the best fried chicken joint in Seoul. I was a bit apprehensive about getting fried chicken for the second day in a row as I...ate at Oppadak the night before and got sick as a dog. Got there around 730 and had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. Ordered and for some reason our pops and fries were brought out first. Staff didn't speak much English and my Korean isn't the best, but I wanted to explain to them that the fries should not come out until the chicken does and to not bring the pops until the food is all together, they ended up bringing us new pops and left the fries, oh well. Anyway, chicken was a class above Oppadak and left me satisfied and most importantly, not sick. Will definitely be back.More

The portions are large and good value for money. Each order sufficient for 2 persons. You have to order the fries separately as it comes only with a small side of pickled radish. Menu in English and Korean. We ordered the honey version and the...chicken came out crispy tasty and meat is very moist.More
