Dior Cafe for Mother's Day

If you have a taste for the fancy things in life. Cafe Dior in Seoul is the place to be! The Dior store architecture and cafe decorations are beautiful! The staff welcomed us in a very professional manner, and the waitress explained to us what each dessert was. Out of all the countries that we've been to order cafe, tea, and desserts, this is the best cafe so far! Will be back real soon!

I had given up hope of being able to actually experience high tea here, as I had asked someone to book on my behalf and they forgot! But we turned up in the morning and they showed us in! I felt so happy! It was sublime and I had an absolute amazing time. The food was excellent and I will treasure the memories I made there.

The coffee shop is located in house of dior. It is a lovely place to relax after shopping and have a coffee and dessert. However, be mindful it is quiet pricey as well.

Came here of course for the « Dior « name and no doubt the Pierre Herme deserts were great. However, the service here definitely did not meet the standard the House of Dior should provide. First of all, I ordered a tea set for two, the high tea set came out with an unstable plates set (they should’ve checked the screws before bringing out to the customers), the server only apologized to me when I mentioned it but didn’t do anything. After she put down the set, she just left. I called her again, I asked « are you going to introduce me all the deserts I’m going to have here? » She was like, oh, you need the explanation ? I was very surprised of her response. I understand most of the people came here just for Instagram photos, but isn’t that a “basic service “ you should provide when you are presenting a 120,000 wan tea set??!! After all the sweets, me and my mom really couldn’t take the sugar anymore, I asked to pack my Madeline and macaron, the server told me “No, they cannot pack it, Pierre Herme doesn’t do that.” I asked why, again? She just said “No, I’m sorry we can’t..” Well, I guess it’s because keeping the freshness and quality of the food, but she couldn’t have explained the reason not just “rejected” me. This is really basic customer services when you are working in an high end restaurant, isn’t it? Surely no coming back again.

Disappointing Customer Service

When I went Dior cafe at Gang-nam, there were a group of possibly foreigners or idol-like people. The waiters would only hang around their table and cater to their needs. I had to wait up to 5 minutes when asked for a waiter. They also almost forgot to serve two orders of dessert if I had not reminded them. Though the food here was pretty decent, the service here was disappointing. The cafe seemed to lack workers just overall.

I booked and made a visit with a good friend. When I was eating, the two of them ordered coffee latte and sparkling water, and the employee who received the order returned and said they should order one more. When I asked if there was any such a rule, he turned around. The staff had seen several Chinese customers sitting at the next table, who were not very attentive to the customer, shaking their hands several times. Stay away from this cafe!

If you want to be treated badly and discriminated, do come here. If not, STAY AWAY! We plan to celebrate birthday of my friend in this place, but after a cup of coffee, this place doesn’t worth it at all. The attitude of waiter especially the woman was very poor. She told us to wear a mask with the looking down look. If you are not strong in English, it is understandable, but the way to deliver it is unacceptable. As I have worked with luxury brands, I couldn’t believe how Dior trained staff to be like this, looking down and discriminating. If by chance, LVMH group executives read this, I suggest to seriously train all the staff. Once you have bad experience with cafe, then we didn’t want to waste anytime purchase Dior. (We definitely afford it) Coffee is around 17 USD. Very normal and they forgot our order even though there were only 3 tables. Dessert are plain, nothing special and worth the money.

Forget the culinary experience

Poor value for money. You feel like eating in an empty floor. Food is horrible with no effort done. Overpriced for such an experience when you have expectations with such brand !

Poor service and over priced scam!!!

We ordered a cake (US$35)and a set of coffee and croissant (USD35) and when I requested two cup of hot water for my medicine ,the waitress refused said we don't provide such a service !OMG!!! What a damp poor service!! We just had lunch at the Hermes cafe in Seoul ,all the food and setting are excellent quality and with top quality services and free water on a luxury Hermes glass!! This place is definitely over priced and a trap for the Dior fans and tourists ,and the environment is so noisy of young visitors !!!

This is one of the 'must visit' place in Seoul when you travel with your girl friends. Apart from the shopping, this cafe is a place to sit down and blah blah with your friends after the super shopping in the area. Nice coffee and beautiful dessert! yum yum too :)

The best cafe Latte

Totally recommended for those who love fashion. To shop and to relax in a luxury place to have coffee and dessert. Quite place. I had a delicious “mango gelee and coconuts mousse with fresh mango” plus a cafe latte.

Needs better service

Located at House of Dior on the fifth level, the exterior is simple and pretty. I ordered latte but it was not much worth the taste. For the dessert, the Mille Feiulle was actually yummy. Overall, the main thing I’m giving this cafe a minus is for the service as there was a mistake for our order as we requested a certain cup for our coffee, as people post in pictures, but we just got a plain transparent one. Whilst, we saw all customers given the nice Dior cups.

Beautiful but Weak Service

We ordered hot latte and they gave us transparent glasses, although we wanted the ones by Pierre Hermes (as shown in the menu ipad). They told us the cups are limited so that’s why they gave us the normal glasses. What’s more shocking is that they gave the Pierre Herme cups to the customers that came later!!!
