Juicy burgers at a very reasonable price

I walked over 7 kilometers from mid-town Koror to just past the bridge connecting Koror and Airai, and I was rewarded by the juiciest, meatiest, and most flavorful double cheeseburger I have had in Palau. The tomatoes and onions in it were fresh. The dill pickles that complemented it were the usual out-of-the jar. I wolfed it all down in less than five minutes, which I regretted later because I felt I should have spent more time savoring it. The place is nondescript, which I think helps bring the cost down. I will make it a point to go back when I get the chance to visit Palu next time.

Delicious burgers

I enjoyed their burgers, cheap and good for Palau standards. The stall is located at a nondescript place, just before the Palau-Japan friendship bridge. A place to stop by if you’re in Babeldaob island and looking for some food.

Holy Smokes do they serve a great burger

This place is off the beaten path and unless someone tells you or takes you there you probably wouldn't know it is there. An employee at Sam's turned me on to this place and I went there 2x for late night munchies. It is located in town north of the main street at the baseball field. Double Bacon cheeseburger and fries was $10 and worth every penny. Ohh so good.

Bem Ermii Burgers are Palau's very burger hot spot. They have some of the best burgers on the island and a large variety of burger combos and patties. Once you see the menu, it will take you sometime to gather your thoughts.. I recommend this location to our guest...

I don't understand the hype

I seriously don't get what everyone sees in this place. Several people in Palau recommended it as the next big thing, better than McDonalds and what not... but of course it's nowhere near that level. Their patties are frozen, even the chicken is frozen so they first need to put it in the microwave and then on the grill... of course by the time it's done there's no flavour whatsoever. The buns are tasteless, meat is tasteless, cheese doesn't even melt, even the vegetables are tasteless. We even went back just to make sure we're not the problem but there was no improvement, food was the same. You can eat in front of the kiosk, there's a bench there, but you have to be careful as we saw some giant cockroaches while waiting. It was disgusting. We really liked Palauan food, there are some great places to get it but Bem Ermii is not one of them. Avoid it.

As another reviewer noted it is better than McDonald's or burger king but who is not? Burger is ok in size, topping good and well balanced, however the meat lacked salt and probably other spices to make it really something special. Price for value is average at best.

My girlfriend and I were absolutely blown away with how good this burger stand was. On top of how good it was, the prices were fair in a sea of over priced restaurants.

I LOVE Bem Ermii! It has been a Palau institution for over 2 decades and I have been going there about that long. My first visit to Palau almost 20 years ago I asked my Palauan friend if he wanted me to bring fast food burgers from Guam (something people do when visiting islands...bring foods they don't have). He said NO! We have Bem Ermii! First bite of that freshly made burger and I knew why! Burgers are made to order, and made well. Fries are great, but have been skimping a bit on those the last few months (potato shortage on Palau?) They have homemade, hand dipped, old fashioned milk shakes, too. Best to call ahead and pick up your order...since everything is made to order it can take a bit of time, but worth it. Although there is seating, would recommend taking to park to eat (or even hotel room or home). There are cheaper burgers on Palau, but not better. Expensive, but worth it. GREAT BURGERS!

First had a burger when it was in a canteen about 18 years ago or so, just visited the place again on my last visit in March 1st and wow still the same but different location. Had the chicken teriyaki burger this time, great place to get a bite to go after having a few beers on your way back to the Hotel.

Best burger ever

We went there two days in a row. Loved it. Double burger can be a bit too much even for a big guy. We had double bacon and cheese burger and smokey. Personally I preferred smokey burger. The only bad thing was there is no decent seats to eat. Lots of flies. But really, burger was so good. I would totally go here instead of some expensive local restaurants.

Best burger on the island!

This was my husbands go to place for dinner. We visited 4 times during our 6 days in Koror! Good size burgers, made to order with all the veggies. Two burgers cost about $10 but it was worth the price compared to other burgers sold in the area. Order of fries was $1.50 and kind of small but okay. This is a small shack offering no seating except for some benches to wait for your food so take out only. If burgers are your thing, this is the place to go!

We are not burgers fans, but we stopped here before we went by car around the island to grab some take away lunch. Teryaki burger and fries was so DELICIOUS. Highly reccomended!
