We booked this restaurant online weeks before our arrival in Palau. They promptly responded to my message and confirmed our reservation. Staff were pleasant and efficient. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. Our table, which had a nice view of the...sea, was ready. Wait staff introduced herself as soon as we sat down. We were given menus and water. Appetizers, salads, main dishes, and desserts were well made with fresh ingredients. Portions were just right. We enjoyed the papaya gorgonzola salad and steamed mangrove clams. The seared catch of the day, seafood cioppino, and baked fish were delicious. Chocolate lava cake and flan were a perfect end to our dinner. Service was excellent. Staff cleared dishes and refilled water & wine glasses as needed. The restaurant has live music and a bar in the center of the dining area. The music was just right and did not disrupt conversations during dinner. They offer hotel shuttle pick up. We had dinner here twice during our stay in Palau. Everything was consistently good.More

We decided to start the New Year here for lunch, and we were THRILLED one thousand times over with the view, service, and food. The complimentary bread basket was served with a unique pesto dip that carried a hint of pepper spice. The fish tacos...were delicious, grilled and blackened to perfection. The added soup and salad was very inexpensive, perfectly sized, and well-balanced in flavor.More

I was blown away by the delicious food and stunning location of Elilai, where I saw some of the most beautiful sunsets of my life. Their menu has so many options, ranging from Filipino to Chinese, Japanese, and American influences….whatever you are craving, you will...find it here, from the freshest seafood to the most delicious happy hour tacos. Their cocktails are fantastic as well and such a refreshing and delicious way to cap off a long, hot day in paradise. Their staff are attentive and their menu constantly rotating with new specials every day. Every meal I had there, and I had quite a few was delicious. Elilai is a cannot miss on your trip to Palau!More

Elilai is easily the best food in Palau...I ate here 4 nights out of 7. They picked me up from the PPR and dropped me home when I had finished. The seafood was of the highest quality....I had crab, clams, tuna and white fish. The...added bonus was several top quality chardonnays available by the glass. All very delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful....and on the last night they even prepared me a special desert to wish me a safe flight. Highly recommendedMore

Well, I will say right out: we had one of our best ever meals here. We wish the same for you. We wandered in out of the rain and were welcomed like family—loving family, not the strange uncle. The ambiance at sunset on a Friday...evening was amazing, the service superb, the food delicious and fairly priced. We really enjoyed the flatbread with dates and bacon. The chef’s special pasta with shrimp was light and fresh, and the New York strip with shrimp and caramelized onion a real treat, and only $28. Really, a fine , fine meal in a friendly way, at the seaside, during a dramatic sunset rainstorm… hard to not leave happy. Add on the house made Rocky Road ice cream and you have reached nirvana! And, a very talented vocalist/guitarist provided some entertainment. Wow wow wow!More

Palau is a fairly small country with a limited number of restaurants so I was delighted the we chose what is undoubtedly the best for dinner. A great ambiance siting right on the water with trevally swimming right in front of your table and a...beautiful view of the lagoon. The food is surely the best in Palau and the staff is very accommodating. They cooked up one of the fish we caught into an outstanding soup. Seafood was great and the steaks were prime aged beef. One of our most enjoyable dinner during the week we were in Palau.More

We ate here three separate times on our trip to Palau. Each time the food was as delicious with a variety of different options -- but we loved the different pasta and flatbread selections. The staff was also very friendly and helpful as well. The...views and atmosphere alone are worth it though. The location is right on the water, overlooking the rock islands. There was also live music one night when we were there, which was perfect. Highly recommend coming here for dinner if you are visiting Palau!More
