I’ve been to Riwaq for breakfast, following the Monocle guide suggestion. The place is cozy and the owner is very nice, speaking English and French perfectly. I asked for a typical Lebanese breakfast and it was very good. Hummus, cheese, homemade jam and other small...More

I had breakfast in Riwaq and I have to say I was stunned. It was rich, beautifully arranged and most importantly extremely tasty. The guys here are very friendly, the music is good - what more could one want?

Really amazing atmosphere - I went to a poetry reading there and it was just beautiful. The bar staff are great and there are loads of interesting people and a lot of internationals! It had quite a hipster vibe!

A small bar close to where we were staying at Zanzoun in Assad Street. We came for a night drink before going to bed. Good service of Hendricks based gin tonic. A small minus for to loud music (or maybe we were to old.....)

I went here three times during my week in Beirut. Fun crowd, good food, excellent drinks. Nice bartenders. Added bonus: live rap show across the street one Sunday evening! Was such a memorable night

Cozy space in the heart of Beirut and very sociable staff. And the fact that it is off the main road is a big plus since it results in a quiet ambience during the day. It surely can get crazy during nights with events.
