As it's name indicates, this is a meat lover's delight although there are other options. It is an expensive but fine dining experience that adheres to strict Kosher standards. It is off a main street where parking may be difficult.

We saved the visit to Red Heifer for a special occasion. And we were disappointed. My wife’s filet mignon was great, but my rib eye was mediocre. The roasted vegetables were a mushy blob, The prices are really high which I don’t mind when the...More

I enjoy coming to this restaurant a lot, but the steaks seem to have gone down in quality. Very fatty and just a normal Israeli steak. And the last time I was here, I hesitated to order a steak because of past experiences, so I...More

Some friends took us to the Red Heifer on our recent visit to Jerusalem. I’m a bit surprised to see the negative reviews here. We loved it. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding! I would definitely go again.

Very centrally located just opposite the King David hotel, Red Heifer specializes in meats. We shared a 500 gram rib-eye steak, which was excellent, highlighted by the sauce, which is similar to a Marsala. I also tasted the salmon, which for me was excellent, although...More
