We were recommended to go here, and I am really glad we did !
Decor is simple, but the people are lovely and the food is delicious !
Apparently Abu Shanab means 'big moustache' ... and yes, the owner lives up to the reputation !...If you get lost / forget the name - ask for 'big moustache' !!
One of the things I ordered was a parsley salad ..... expecting tabouli .....
Much hilarity, as we questioned ..... apparently, the parsley 'salad' was the 'tzatziki' like dip that came with the bread ...... it's all in the perception ! It was delicious !
Staff were lovely, and even stood in the street to flag down a taxi for us !!More
