I had the cheese pancake recommended by Rick Steves. Great stop right next to Ephesus museum. Very local, street taco like but delicious and friendly.

I saw the cook on our first day in Selcuk, on our walk towards Temple of Artemis. She was quietly kneading dough and put it on a cooking tool I had not seen before. Rushing to see many sights, I made a mental note of...the store sign and the handwritten dish name Gozleme. We went back on another day after our Ephesus Museum visit as the restaurant is very near. Gozleme is Turkish pancake and we ordered 3 kinds (spinach, spinach & cheese and one with meat). We watched the cook as she made our orders with precision and a smile. The Gozleme were tasty and the kebab sampler we ordered were good too. We were given bread and dips as we waited. There were 3 persons running the restaurant then and it took time to make the orders. We did not mind. There were tables across the restaurant, and we ate our lunch there. Prices are very reasonable. Simple food in a simple place, made with great care.More

I found the food in Selcuk a bit hit or miss, so was glad to stumble upon here on my last day. Good kebab and I enjoyed the stuffed aubergine, which was something a bit different and had a very home cooking feel to it....Reasonably priced, for that and a drink it came to $6. Some nice rugs and cushion covers on sale next door as well.More

Great kabobs with big portions. It is a very casual spot which was the perfect lunch location before we headed to the ruins. Don't be surprised by it's "mom and pop shop" look. It was very clean and very good.

They took very good care of me, the food arrived fast and I was even able to order food "to go" so that I had food for dinner. The food is tasty and cheap. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for...being so good to me!!!More

Enjoyed adana kebab and some apple tea at this street side restaurant , hosted by a lovely lady. This adana kebab had a different flavor with pronounced spices which I enjoyed a lot, worth a try!

A family style restaurant with not so good service. 1. The kebab is really nice, the name of the restaurant is right, this is really a kebab house with delicious kebab. The meat is cooked thoroughly, it is tender and juicy. 2. The service however...might not be very nice (Probably because we are in a hurry) We have waved at the owner pretty much time but he ignored us or he keep on saying coming. After talking to his friends, he finally come and take our order. 3. Apart from the service which is probably because we are in a hurry. The food is quite nice :)More

We were in a late night when we’re try to find some local food after strolling around the city, and finally found this kebab house was about to closed. But after we ask, they’re surprisingly still want to give us service and wait only for...two of us having dinner here. We took mix kebab plater and all is tasty, but the adana kebab was very good, i think best adana kebab we ever eat in our journey in turkey. Pilav also good, salad very fresh! Very recomended local food 👌🏻More

This place scores points for having the first ground beef that doesn’t actually have a lamb aftertaste. That’s actually pretty hard to find in Turkey and it was a pleasant surprise. Slight push by the owner to drum up business for his next door carpet...shop and son who gives tours, neither of which we were interested in. Owner was friendly and speaks some English.More
