Absolutely gorgeous food. Nice restaurant, super fresh fish, properly served, as well as other snacks such as yakitori, shishamo, and a great nabe. This could be anywhere in Japan. Quality choice.

Very good. It’s the kind of Japanese restaurant where you get your own private room. Food was good. Service was good. Prices respectable.
The best sushi I’ve ever had in Vietnam. Atmosphere and staff there were nice. We have 3 people and spent around 5.5M for dinner there.
Had a really nice lunch here. The food is solid and the sashimi is the flagship for sure. The service can be lacking but the atmosphere is very fitting. Great location as well
The food, the decor, the service, the ambience, the value, the whole experience was superb! Highly recommend!
Me and my boyfriend stayed in Hanoi for 3 nights and came here for dinner twice. The food was absolutely incredible and 2 sushi lovers who adore sushi all round the globe, this was the best. As chefs ourselves (and not tooting our own horn)...We don’t understand the haters and are offended by their words. Get educated people!!!! and stop being snobby. (You must not have a clue about food)🤔 We were greated by all the staff ‘welcome!’ In Vietnamese ❤️ Then our AMAZING waiter Nguyen Hai Dang, made us feel like a million dollars. We watched in ore as the chef and his colleagues created our amazing sushi. Such decorum and elegance. That place deserves a Michelin star in our eyes, the consistency was next to none. Please read this and not the ‘terrible’ uneducated foodies. Love and peace to all the staff you are amazing!!!! Love Izzie and ChrisMore
I used to really enjoy the hot-pot buffet here. However, the staff is not really friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a good place for nice dinners with friends and family but don't expect much.
I eat in this Vietnamese restaurant that serve japanise speciality. I try different meat and I suggest to go.
Had dinner at Kimono Japanese Restaurant last night. The restaurant looks fine and food was ok but this morning I had diarrhoea and felt like vomiting. Suggest you be careful when selecting the raw food at that restaurant.
I often use 'All you can eat' buffet sushi or Hotpot Buffet because the price is low with high quality but sadly, Kimono decided to close the line and buffet in order to improve the quality so now i only enjoy the alacarte Menu. Anyway,...so happy when Hanoi has the high level japanese restaurant like KimonoMore
The door girl and Ms. Nguyen Nhu Quynh, you both need to be trained if you want to work in service industry./Cô mở cửa và cô phục vụ bàn Nguyễn Như Quỳnh cần được dạy lại! The door girl welcomed us with a very bad...attitude and did not even answer when I asked her some information. The worst one was Ms. Nguyen Nhu Quynh with a myopic glasses in the pink kimono, very impolite, didn't look at us at all during all the time she served at our table. She threw 2 menu on the table and walked away without any words until we called her back loudly. We had ate there 3 times before this time and the menu of the buffet was a bit different and we knew very clearly what kinds they have in the restaurant but today we didn't see some food and we just asked Ms.Quynh if they cut away those food. She said to us with a heavy face "You make mistake, it must be another restaurant". How impolite! We were sitting downstairs and one guest upstairs ordered one kind of salad, Ms. Quynh said to the open kitchen chef "Every time there's someone orders this salad I feel disgusted". She was chit chatting with her colleagues loudly while she came to clear out the used dishes. Out of the unacceptable attitude of the staff, the variety of the buffet was terrible and was not worth at all the price. We're telling you: Your restaurant quality is going down terribly! The only good point is the 2 chef in the buffet open kitchen, they were friendly and cared about us.More
I went to Kimono with my best friend. We wanted proper sushi, which we hadn't had for ages! We did the all you can eat and everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious! And was stuff was so nice! The price is pretty decent as...well it's like 11€, you can't find that in Europe. A must go when you're in Hanoi and want proper Sushi!More
Went for a sushi train lunch with the family. The chefs were very attentive and prepared special dishes for us which was nice. Overall this place was pretty good value and worth a visit.
Pretty good maki rolls. Salmon salad was so so. Not bad if you just want a sushi fix! The staff were nice enough but service verging on poor....
We visited this place last week on our holiday in Hanoi and tried the Sushi platter, the Japanese salad, as well as their udon bowls. The food was amazing and we enjoyed it. I had the kare udon for the first time here and was...pleasantly surprised with the curry like taste. I can say that this is my new favorite, now..LOL! Since there were 4 of us, we ordered a few things off the menu and then tried it all. They have varying types of Sake, too. The sushi was fresh and tasted awesome and this is definitely a place to visit.More
