Fresh great tasting seafood in Ha Long. We were pleasantly surprised to find this interesting restaurant as recommended by the hotel. It didn’t seem like much of a restaurant and we were disappointed after going around the town the whole day...but after being ushered to the 4th floor and provided with a private dining room, we realised that this was a high end restaurant. It’s really great for its seafood and we ordered a variety but in small amounts to sample and to reduce the risk of a bad decision.
The dishes turned out well. We had two versions of squid (one in stir fried garlic with leek) and the other steamed with celery; baked oysters, seafood soup, steamed prawns, stir fried watercress and steamed fish which was eaten as a spring roll wrap to our surprise!
Overall, the best dishes were the steamed prawns, baked oysters (we had two orders) and squid (also two orders). Very pricey for a local restaurant but if you are into serious seafood, this could be the place if you are prepared to pay more for the pleasant setting and hygienic environment

We were told this is the number 2 seafood restaurant in Halong City and differs from the number 1 restaurant because you could pick your own seafood from the tank for cooking. A few of our group members went with the tour guide to pick out some sea snails, baby octopus and shrimp for cooking. We also ordered seafood friend rice and a fish soup dish. The sea snails were tasty but like eating escargot, little reward for the work of pulling out the snail from its shell. But very tasty. The baby octopus was really nothing to rave about as we did not even finish this dish. The fish meat in the fish soup was soft and tender. The seafood fried rice was good but had better in Hanoi. A very average meal in my opinion. But the shocker was the bill as this meal costed us (7 persons) over $30 U.S. per person and there was nothing gourmet about it. So it you like the idea of picking live seafood from the tank before cooking, splurge here. Otherwise, go to other seafood restaurants where you definitely will pay less for not picking your own seafood from the tank...

We've had the best meal in Ha Long. It was our first night in Ha Long and after a very tiring flight and car trip from Hai Phong airport to Ha Long, we thought we should treat ourselves something nice. I searched up places to eat in Ha Long and it seems like lots of sites recommend this place. So we thought of going there. We we first got there, we thought this restaurant was just another location of the chains because it seems rather small to me but it turned out to be the main one. The welcome wasn't as what I would expected. Most of staff were busy taking orders for guests. The restaurant was very crowded, even though it's freezing cold, I'm surprise that lots of people opted the outdoor seating with over head heaters. After a 5 minutes wait we finalky can approach a staff that's free and she took our order. She told us to go to the 3rd floor in the 5th room, so we went there. For a premium restaurant like this, I expect them to direct us to our seatings but we had to go there by ourselves. But when we got up there, I was very surprise by the fact that they gave us a private room, which I absolutely appreciate because you know we are very tired and we just want a peaceful meal without seating close to strangers and the loud noise of others conversations. After that, the staff came in with our seafood. The food was Amazing, I had zero complains about it. The service and the staff that brought us our food was also really friendly and helping. The price was very reasonable, also have no complaints about that either. I do appreciate a bit more cleaning in the private room because the ground was full with trash. I really liked this restaurant and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Tried a lot of halong seafood specialties here and it was great! The only minus was a bit expensive compare to other restaurants around this area. But totally worth trying. Recommended for tourists who are interested in seafoods.

This place was amazing . You go in and look at the seafood you want to eat , Weight it and have them cook it for you . FRESH FRESH The customer service was great and the price was fair for what you received.

I came No. C15 Villa Area in south Tuanchau island with my company customers, and my company BOD of last week.
This restaurant seems to be very expensive in Halong bay, but their service was terrible.
They treat us like we were begging for the food.

The service was good, I was having a rather late lunch. The staff was attentive and courteous. An excellent selections of seafood, and I chose a seafood noodle dish. I was a bit disappointed because the seasoning was rather bland, not what I have come to expect in a Vietnamese restaurant. Maybe they dialed it down a bit,

I was with my family when I went to Sunworld park in Ha Long. I was confused when I didn't know where to have lunch. Then we decided to go to Cua Vang restaurant because it was located near the Sunworld Park. In the enter of the restaurant, we can see sea animals swimming. It's the way the restaurant tell their customers that their seafood was really fresh. I choose some from the menu. At that moment, I was afraid that I was too risky to choose too much dishes to try at the first time. But then, it was a really nice, fresh and delicious lunch. It was the most delicious meal with seafood I've ever had this year. The staff was really friendly and helpful with smile on her face. My family and I had lunch in a private dinning room. The room was clean and there was private toilet, it was very convenient to wash hands after having crabs.
I'll come back to the restaurant again

I often come to this restaurant whenever I go to Tuan Chau Island. The seafood is very fresh. Do not forget to try " lẩu cua bể" which is giving you the different taste. Book the table where you can see the Marina.

Leading by the taxi and demanding for a good seafood restaurant we were driven here. All the seafood are fresh and it's really hard to find this experiment in England. Amazing taste of crab, shellfish.

Okay we are in off season, and the atmosphere is not the same as in summer, but come on. The dish called seafood noodles is made with smack soup noodles and I doubt the freshness of the shrimp and calamari in it (sure as hell they are not from the disposed water cans in the front of the restaurant), soups are tasteless unless you put a bunch of salt and chili in it. We didn’t pay that much, but other dishes were totally overprice and I’m not sure the quality is worth it. :((

As I work on Tuan Chau I think that I have pretty much tried all the restaurants on the island and this has to have the best service and seafood.
As it was a business meeting, we took one of the "VIP" rooms. The young lady looking after us was very attentive, continuously removing the empty mussels and replacing the table settings.
We had quite a variety of dishes (mussels, oysters, squid, hot-pot, and more) and every dish was very good. Well worth a visit if you like seafood.

I am a picky eater when it comes to seafood. And having been to many places in Vietnam for seafood, I must say this is the very best. Although price is not cheap, it's very worth it for quality of food and quality of service at the restaurant. Highly recommend.

We came here for lunch after Halong Bay’s cruise, here is what we think:
Ambience: 4.5/5
Cleanliness: 4/5
Customer Service: 3.5/5
Quality of Food: 4.5/5
Value for Money: 5/5
The Good: This place is a steal, it’s possibly one of the best dining places we had in Vietnam, highly recommend for all to come here, the highlight is their Fish Head Soup! Their vegetables are also sensational!
The Bad: Customer Service can be a bit more prompt.
The Bottom Line: We would visit here again when we are around the area, this is one of the best around the region!

We got a great meal in here with good price, good service and so delicous food.
Everything is well but you need choice this room cleaning.
