A highlight of our stay at Praya Palazzo was the dining thanks to Chef Na. The menu comes with information about how each dish fits in the historic context. Lovely Thai food. The dining room is part of the experience as would be arriving for...dinner if you weren't staying. The service was excellent. Loved that the chef came out to see how we were enjoying dinner.More

We did not stay at the hotel, but our Thai exchange student took us to dinner there when we came to visit him. The boat ride before and after the meal was lovely as it creates a cool breeze so you arrive feeling cool after...the hot sticky streets. The dining room is beautifully decorated and according to our Thai son, the food is vey authentic Thai. I love spicy but my husband is more into mild. There were dishes for both of us. Unfortunately, as our Thai son ordered them only item I am sure of the name was the massaman curry. There was a delicious spicy salad with shrimp, a beef soup in a clear broth that had hints of coriander and a rice ball dessert. The experience was lovely and I couldn’t believe we were the only people there. I would recommend it as the food was great, but the whole experience of the boat in the dark, with other lit up boats passing, the lights of Bangkok, the lit up suspension bridge were all beautiful. I jokingly said to my husband the boat ride over would be the perfect proposal site (just be sure they will say yes or you are stuck together for a while)More

Walking into the dining room, crisp air conditioning and beautiful music greeted my family and I, we could instantly tell that this establishment payed attention to the important little details, such as comfortable velvet chairs, beautiful chandeliers, and ancient Thai artworks. Next we met the...waitress, a polite and adept service woman who was very flexible in terms of dietary requirements, some of my family are vegan, the kitchen was able to cater for anything they wanted or needed. When our first course was presented, we were in awe of the presentation skills and creativity of the chefs as well as the taste profiles that blended deliciously together. Then, our mains were given to us, all perfectly presented and delicious. I couldn’t expect more from any other restaurant in Bangkok. It is also important to note that if you are a guest at the hotel you get three hundred baht off your meal.More

We are residents of Praya Palazzo, so we decided to eat one dinner there despite the prices that are much higher than in any other Bangkok restaurant we've seen. Food was good, but nothing really special (in comparison to much cheaper Bangkok restaurants we've tried)....Also, when it came to paying the bill, it was quite irritating to find out that prices of water and hidden costs (rice that came with curry, VAT, service) added about 50% to what we thought we'd pay. I wouldn't come back.More

This place is situated in lovely boutique hotel which itself was once the mansion belonged to the wealthy Chinese merchant only to be left to ruin over time before its revival into current stage. This restaurant fully take advantage from the long history of the...mansion and offers the authentic royal cuisines in its very original form. A worthy visit if you are big fan of Thai food.More

I am not the paying come to this restaurant because our host is hosting dinner at this Restaurant. It is very classic in the old building that the only one you can come is only by boat. I was impress with the building, swimming pool,...and the architecture of the building. We had superb dinner with a three-course meal. We had pre-drinks to enjoy the building. It seems our clothes is not fit to enter this building. So much elegant. You can not walk into the restaurant because of reservation. I am not sure about the price, but I can sure you this is must be expensive.More

The menu consists of old Thai recipes used in the 1800's and early 1900's that you don't normally find anymore in Thai cuisine. The house was built in an Italian style and the only way to get here is to call the ferry from the...restaurant to pick you up. There is a hotel here as well if you want to stay here. The food was excellent but the prices were high.More
