Best restaurant we had in over two weeks in Ethiopia. The place's atmosphere is modern and classy. The menu is strictly vegetarian - they know how to make the best Indian vegetarian food. We had to wait a little long for the food to arrive but once our Soja Tikka Masala and Paneer Tikka Masala arrived we were in heaven. It was just the right spicy as we ordered it and the flavours were absolutely savoury. We recommend the lassi- very tasty too. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to treat him/herself (it is a little bit expensive).

We had Paneer Chilli, Pani Puri, Sev Puri, Kulcha, Kulfi, Humpty-dumpty.
The food is delicious and many of the raw material like Puri, Sev, Jalebi its freshly made so you get the fresh taste and even healthy and Food Price is also reasonable.
Interesting thing is, there is one Indian chef and other supporting staff is Ethiopian and still they make food in Indian style and you name the dish they will make it for you.
They have security guard outside to help you in parking and make sure you are safe in the night, that's very interesting.

Having lived in India, I was very impressed by the quality and deliciousness of the food served by OM Bistro and home delivered by it through the Deliver Addis website.
The decor of the restaurant, it’s cleanliness and hygiene, the cutlery, the variety in the menu, the service, and the overall experience are excellent and of authentic high Indian standard.
Highly recommended.

My freind and I ordered paneer tika masala, vegetable fried rice and Garlic naan. Very fresh and tasty food. Very nice place to hangout with friends. The waiter “Muluken” treated us like queens.

Loved the food so much I went back some days after my first experience!
Nice place, nice staff, nice food...
Everything is vegetarian. Extensive menu. Quick service. Bit pricey though!
Be careful several dishes are pretty hot.

I have visited Addis Ababa twice (2021 and 2023) and my experience of having food at Om Bistro has always been amazing. This experience was made remarkable simply because of the Chef-Mr. Kuldeep ji. He would customize any dish as per my liking and serve it. I usually refrain from eating restaurant food for too long as I prefer very less-spicy food with less oil, and it was only because of Mr. Kuldeep, that I could get it customized and be in Addis for more than a month and survive on food which felt just like eating at home in India.
The food quality at Om Bistro is superior to any other Indian restaurant in Addis and I can vouch for it after trying a couple of other restaurants. The hygiene at the restaurant is great.
Everything is made in-house. I liked the soft paneer which is made in-house by the Chef and is fresh. The Chef even makes the nacho chips in-house and the food quality is at par with any 5-star restaurant in India.
I have lived in the US for more than 8 years and have tried a lot of Indian restaurants both on the East and the West Coast in Washington DC and San Francisco, but the taste of Indian food customized to my liking at Om Bistro was awesome and way better than any of the restaurants in the US.
The service is great and some of the staff like Jiji are very courteous.
Kuldeep ji is an expert with a lot of dishes and I would highly recommend and give five stars to this restaurant and to the Chef. I would also highly recommend to visit and try it out for anyone staying in Addis either for a day or a month.

Actual prices on the printed menu are up from 80 to 100 % higher than on the website
At reservation time the staff advised the prices do not include additional charges
In practice there is 10 % service charge on the total plus 15 % VAT

One of the best vegetarian dishes ever had in Ethiopia and they have a really good variety of foods available. Went with two vegetarian friends and they all enjoyed the food. Nice ambiance.

Delicious and reasonably priced. We especially liked the tandoor broccoli. Nice staff and good service. We got there early and had no problem getting a table but it did fill up quickly. Nice decor.
