This was definitely the best experience I have ever have at any Red Lobster. I had not been to any location since 2019 so we decided to stop here for a quick lunch. I was pleased with the nice selection of lunch meals under $10. But the best part of our experience was the fabulous service provided by college student Brooke. She was so friendly, professional and efficient as well. She took excellent care of us by checking to see if we needed more beverages, biscuits or anything else. She also helped us sign up for the new rewards program as well. I will definitely stop back again to this location if I am in the area.

Good food and decent price. Young waitress who is studying full time and working here during school holidays, she is very attentive and responsive. Great service.

Monday night is all you can eat shrimp night before 6pm. It was excellent. Seafood was fresh hot and filling. Rolls were excellent. Salad was fresh and crispy.

When we pulled into the parking lot at 6:00 on a Saturday night and it was barely any cars in it. I asked my wife if this was a sign. We walk in the door and there are five hostesses waiting at the host stand. They seat us immediately. It took a few minutes before our waitress comes to our table. She was attentive and friendly. Like many restaurants, it's upsell, upsell, upsell. The menu had changed considerably since the last time we were there, eliminating a lot of their options. I settled on fish & chips. When I first bit into the fish, I thought that they forgot to remove the scales off the fish as it was extremely hard and tough to chew. The breading on it was around a quarter inch on one side and about an eighth on the other. The fish was dried out and it looked like it may have been double fried. The side of coleslaw was larger than the fish. On a positive note, the few fries that come with it were good. My wife settled on salmon with broccoli & a Caesar salad as her two sides. The Caesar salad is now considered a premium side so there was additional cost. The broccoli was unseasoned. The waitress comes back to see plates that were barely eaten. Normally a waitress or waiter will ask how was your meal? Instead, she asked if we were ready for desert and brough the first refill on the soda that has been empty for most of the meal. We will not be back.

Oh my goodness! We had not been to a Red Lobster since 1992. Decided to try it and found their wait staff to be very professional, attentive and friendly.
The food- horrible! Those biscuits were saturated with grease. The fish sandwich had a bun that was so hard it could not be cut. The “big” coconut shrimp were just small butterflied shrimp with thick coating and no coconut flavor. We will not be back- $45 for horrible greasy food is not acceptable. .

Worst service ever. Many people waiting to be seated with numerous booths and tables that were empty. Manager greeting at front entrance was very rude when we approached him. It was the first time we tried Red Lobster, as we love seafood and wanted to try it out. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! Will not ever try it again. Better service at the Mongolian Buffet.

Waited 15 min longer than promised. Order was wrong. 2 cheddar biscuits instead of 14. Inefficient staff and no real concern for patrons wearing masks and social distancing.

My friend and I love coming to Red Lobster. The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly. I enjoyed the Seafarer's feast which consisted of lobster tail, scampi, scallops and coconut shrimp which I substituted for another item. All of the food was served hot and was delicious.

We had not been to a Red Lobster in some time. The food was great, but the romaine in the Caesar Salad was the best in forever--really, really crisp which made it so much more enjoyable! We will visit again in the future.

The Red Lobster in Ames is very easy to find along Duff Avenue and is worth the stop to enjoy the best fish selection in Ames along with great appetizers, side selections,wines and deserts.

Stopped here for dinner on our way home from Texas. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and my husband got the 4 course meal. Everything was really good and the waitress was bubbly and friendly. Food arrived super fast. Would recommend and/or stop again when passing thru Iowa.

If you miss sea food in the middle of nowhere (mid west), come and visit red lobster.
You can get nice selection of fresh sea food, good service and great desert

I had the oysters in the raw which are so tasty!! my friend enjoyed the seared scallops and a walleye fish. They always have wonderful customer service and a nice experience. They do now have very reasonable lunch prices for many seafood items. Fresh and Fabulous!!
