Everytime we come, we end up ordering a bunch of small plates to share, and the plates are not so small. We end up over ordering but loving everything. The dishes are bar upscale-ish and very tasty. (Bring back the baked goat cheese!) Also love their wings, green beans and pretzels. Excellent beer list. Perfect stop before a show at the Paramount or a night at the casino.

Flew in, staying at Holiday Inn for family wedding. Walked across parking lot to ck out this place, wowza! Is so big & pretty & vibe-y. Met the mgr Kevin, he said it'd been remodeled & renamed, is right by train stop, ergo Roundhouse. Walked around & saw banquet room set up for wedding, sooo beauitul. Outside is gazebo where he said entertainment is, & l bet a bride could be there too, lotta tables & chairs & greenery. Oh yeah, the food, lol. Loved the menu, wedding next day so easy on the doggie bags, haha. I had grilled asparagus w/this goat cheese vinagrette, yum. Hubby had NY strip w/up charge for the garlic herb butter, came w/mashed, grn beans, soup or salad. But dessert was delish creme brulee ch'cake, helped soften the blow of being out of pork tenderloin, his 1st choice, lol. Desiray was great too, just loved the place!

3 coupkes met for dinner and beers and conversation. This place is huge! We talked in without a reservation and had no trouble getting a table quickly. Great beers were delivered quickly ad we weren't pressured to order. Server answered all our questions about the beers and food and helped us all order great meals paired to our beer selections. We were not hurried along and were allowed to linger with our after dinner drinks and visit.

We had a reservation and when we were seated there was some confusion as to where the hostess should seat us. After conferring with the waitress she seated us at a table for four, left us with our menus and the drinks we brought to the table from the bar. We sat there for 20 min and asked 1 server if she was our waitress, she said no, so we asked a 2nd server, who also said nope. 1 of us tracked down a manager and he sent over the 1st waitress, and she let us know she was now being forced to take on our table even though she was not our waitress. We all 4 ordered and the food and drinks were promptly served. We stuck around and caught the band in the tavern portion of the facility and left just before midnight. My husband realized he had left his phone on the table. We tried to go back in to retrieve it and the doors were locked. Another departing guest let him in to get his phone, and he was told he could not come in, and he explained he had left his phone. He retrieved it himself and left. Probably won't go out of my way to repeat this experience again.

This place was right next to the hotel I was staying at for work so we went over. First time we tried they were closing at 9 pm which felt very early to me. But we tried again on my last night in Chicago a lot earlier and it was open. Crowd was mostly older so I understand why they close down early. Really enjoyed the service and all the food. The waiter was very attentive and told us stories about the building that were quite entertaining. Overall recommend, just make sure to come early!

Went to meet friends on Two Brothers, Third Floor. Had a cocktail menu. The cocktail I ordered was extremely delicious. I will not share what it was called or everyone on earth will go and drink it up!!! I had two of these delights! Two different bartenders so the drinks were slightly different; nevertheless, DELICIOUS. I will go back and sit on the very, trendy balcony when it's warmer. Only 2 complaints. The music was rap and did not go with the atmosphere. Maybe, XX would work better. Also, the lights were way too bright.

Finally got to visit after many years of wanting to. The beers are very good - loved the DuPaige. Pub food is well done. Cheese curds are unexpectedly nice - no greasy mess. The building itself is an old locomotive roundhouse that has been beautifully restored. I highly recommend it for beer buffs, history buffs and train buffs.

Came here for a winter dinner and it was amazing. Cozy, decorated for Christmas, and the service was impeccable. The food and drinks were so good, and nothing bad I can say. We love this place, but hadnt been here for Christmas. The coffee is hands down amazing, and the beer is just so good!

Unique historic spot to dine, also with coffee shop, beer sales and apparel, and entertainment. Food and service was excellent . The oldest Roundhouse ( trains) in America. Originally restored by Walter Payton of The Bears. Now in the hands of Two Brothers Brewery.

The was my first time to the Roundhouse and I have to tell you, it is one cool venue. The service was outstanding from the moment I walked in, to the introduction to our server, Danie, who was fantastic. I had Danie's recommendation, the Blackened Chicken Sandwich, which was great. My friend had the equally good fish tacos. I hardly can wait to visit during the summer when the outside area is open.

Beautiful old building converted to brewery/ restaurant. Very large space also nice atrium for warm weather activities. Not enough choices for vegetarians. Only 2 pastas and 1 wrap. However the whole menu is not that big. Food was good and choices of beer very good.

We used to love this place, I want to be clear about that. Things have changed, though, and not for the good. We encountered a series of issues, please read on.... We were in the Tavern section so that we could listen to a band. The website said no cover charge, so we did not stop for cash. Problem, there was cover charge and it was cash only. Luckily one of us in the group had cash and covered everyone. We had reservations but were told to sit anywhere and we took a corner area because that was the only seating large enough for our group. It took about 10 minutes for a waitress to come to us with menus (odd because we were the first people there - we wanted to order food before the band started). Even though we were seated in the Tavern, they restricted the drinks we could order. Be warned, food/drinks are not available in every section of the building - look at their menu online to figure out where you want to sit. This is also a beer place and they do not offer flights or small pours. They do offer a stein you can buy and refill for $6.00, but the waitress was not able to tell us how much the stein was (there were two sizes) and if the refill was $6.00 for both sizes of stein. Two of us braved ordering the steins. We ordered 6 beers in total, no idea what we paid for them. Three people ordered mixed drinks, all of which were extremely watered down. One person was allowed to order iced tea because the waitress said she would make the special trip to the other section to get it. After we got the first round of drinks, the waitress said we might need to go to the bar to get her because the two waitresses working the room will be dancing to the group. I don't even know how to process that, but unacceptable comes to mind. She wasn't kidding, though, service was abysmal. We finally got to order food. The nachos were GREAT! The cheese curds had no cheese in them. A few had cheese stuck to the outside of the breading - like the cheese bled out of them. The beer pretzels were good. The fried pickles were good. While the band was playing and we were getting up to dance, that's when we noticed it (via the light of a cell phone) a DEAD MOUSE under our table. Feet up, totally stiff dead. We went to the bar to tell them. It took about 10 minutes for them to come sweep it up and throw it out the back door. The mouse was not injured, so we suspect poison being used (not uncommon) but tossing it outside then poisons other wildlife, not cool. The worst part was that there was no apology, no hey, have a round on us, no nothing. We get this is not their fault, so just an apology would have been nice, stuff happens and we area an easy going group. However, you need to at least pretend to take responsibility and show some concern. She just swept it up and kept going as if nothing happened and this was a regular occurrence there. We stayed for two sets, didn't order nearly as much as we would have had we had a waitress that focused on customers (the place emptied out after the first set about 4 tables stayed and it really wasn't too busy during the first set). When we got the bill, again no apology for the mouse incident. We were asked if we wanted to split the bill into three equal parts (three couples), we agreed. Then she said she could, if we wanted, split it by couple, but it would take a little longer. We agreed to split it by 3 evenly. The problem is that no one saw the bill. We have no idea what we were charged. They do not have the stein information on the website. We all agree the bill was high for what we bought, but without the stein information we have no way to prove we were charged incorrectly for anything. We might not have been, the steins might have been expensive, the beer refills might not have been $6.00 - who knows, our waitress surely did not know. Again, we used to love this place. It was the first time we have been in the Tavern, so maybe it is just lousy in there. It was a bad enough experience to cause me to come here and write about it. Seriously, if they had just apologized for the mouse, we probably would have laughed off everything else. It just kind of pushed the negative experience over the edge. The band was AMAZING!!!! Hoping to find them at a different venue.

Built in 1865, the Two Brothers Roundhouse is a historical landmark and the oldest limestone railroad roundhouse in the US. The place is huge. It has a restaurant, bar, mini-museum, outside beer garden, private event rooms, and distillery. I've been there 4 times and never gone wrong. Spanning over 70,000-square-feet, the Two Brothers Roundhouse is home to a modern supper club, the best beer garden in the area, rustic banquet spaces, private event rooms, café, live music venue, cocktail lounge, brewery and artisan distillery. This isn't a fancy 5-star restaurant; it is solid pub food fitting the atmosphere. Yet, they have about 10 different appetizers, a half-dozen different salads, about 8 separate entrees, a few different types of pasta, and a handful of different sandwiches/burgers. For beverages; full bar - haven't found anything I can't get.
