A cozy restaurant nestled against the Fox River & Aurora bike path, this family owned and operated gem is sure to satisfy any breakfast and lunch need! The bagels are steamed, made fresh daily and every item in house is homemade. Create a made-to-order bagelwich with over 15 kinds of bagels and over 10 flavors of cream cheese to choose from. Also offered are homemade soups, deli sandwiches, muffins, cookies, and of course from our self service coffee bar, a hot cup of your favorite Green Mountain Coffee.

I was greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly baked bagels and the warm, friendly atmosphere. The deli menu also had a wide range of options, from hearty sandwiches to salads and soups. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail.
I was satisfied and happy! Already planning my next visit.

Jake’s has a wide variety of bagels and cream cheese. Traditionally made great tasting bagels. Had breakfast of an Egg on a perfectly toasted sesame seed bagel, with good coffee. Took home strawberry cream cheese and some bagels.
Pleasant, clean. Lots of seating indoors (and outdoors in good weather).

Great bagels, and coffee. I had a sesame bagel and my husband had an egg sandwich bagel. Service was prompt and menu is extensive. Bagel sandwiches and soups available for lunch

When coming to Aurora we have breakfast here but this time we did lunch. We split a Ruben on Jake’s seasoning. It was so good. You can’t go wrong here. The weather was great and we ate outside.

We knew this place from our last travel to Aurora. We lied it so much we ate there twice in our travels to visit family. A very good place for breakfast or lunch. The blueberry muffins are so,good.

We love their fresh bagels. They are delicious and offer great cream cheese flavors. The place is cozy with the fireplace and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

The employees are friendly and like family. Love the different flavored bagels and cream cheese. I’ve enjoyed bagels on the patio overlooking the river.

Finally found a place out here with good bagels. We are originally from the east coast and nothing is better than New York bagels. But I have to say these are pretty close. The bagels are super fresh and are absolutely amazing. And the cream cheese, out of this world. I am not in any way, shape or form a fan of pumpkin yet I am totally in love with their pumpkin honey cream cheese. I got a salt bagel with the pumpkin cream cheese and it was so awesome. It was a great blend of salty and sweet. Definitely looking forward to going back for some more. If you are a pumpkin lover you have got to get this cream cheese and fast because it sells out and it's only there for a limited time.

When we first moved to this area, we heard folks talk about how good Jake's was and being an East Coast bagel snob, I tended not to believe what I was hearing as no place in the Chicagoland area has ever come close to the East Coast bagel.
Boy was I wrong.
Jake's is not only the real deal for breakfast and lunch but it is an authentic bagel producer. Everything is handmade, best fresh ingredients and really pleasant employees. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone and also hosts an extensive coffee and tea bar to boot! Try them today and become addicted immediately!
