Michael the GM is stupendous, waking up mid-monsoon-ish storm at 3 am to fix a fire alarm himself. One of the women at front desk was cranky and pouty. Every single other employee seemed to love their jobs. One flaw remains that there’s no staff on property at all after 7 pm. A bit scary in remote area. They need to improve emergency phone number system. The cell phone lines were not Down at all. Michael could have been alerted much earlier. The only hotel on the island has zero night staff. This needs to be fixed. The rooms are fantastic, beds, pillows, soaps all superb! It’s just that night duty issue. Otherwise a A + property. The food at restaurant is B minus or maybe B+ if we sampled more. Would definitely return!

Hiro’s Restaurant in the hotel here on Moloka’i is doing a very nice job at a reasonable cost. In these Covid-19 times the management team is very safety conscience; we felt quite comfortable dining here. The menu has a bit of Japanese flair added to Hawaiian dishes and is delightful and tasty. We’ve tried several dishes and found them all good. An appetizer I can highly recommend are the egg rolls, there’s plenty and they are some of the best I’ve had. There’s enough to split an order or enough for a light lunch. Being right on the Pacific shore the view is spectacular and the sunset terrific. In the evening you may want to bring a wrap as the breeze can be cool when the sun goes down.

The food was delicious. Everything we ordered was great and the portions were large. I'm not usually a fan of calamari but theirs was delicious. We had a wonderful and attentive server for our meal. The live music was beautiful and added to the whole experience.

We have been to Moloka'i three times now and everytime we stay here. Great location, super nice staff, and the restaurant has delicious food and a nice happy hour. We always find ourselves with a pina colada.

Molokai has a much slower pace than Honolulu and Hotel Molokai reflects that. That isn't a bad thing, however.
I appreciated that it isn't a cookie-cutter hotel. The architecture has a bit of a tropical vibe to it, the lobby and restaurant are open-air, and the rooms were clean and sufficiently spacious. It appears to be an older property and the shine has worn off, but it doesn't advertise itself to be a 5-star resort.
I saw - but did not use - a few washing machines that I believe guests could use. I was there for a scuba diving trip and was able to use the semi-private patio/lanai's two chairs and table to dry my gear. They appeared to be a nice place to drink morning coffee outdoors or have a glass of wine/beer at night.
Molokai Outdoors has an activity desk in the lobby and their fleet of rental cars is parked in the hotel parking lot.
There is a gift shop that also sells toiletries and snacks in the lobby as well.
The hotel is a short 2-mile drive into town.

This hotel was terrific! We had a "studio" so we could make breakfast and bring back lunch to our private lanai. The restaurant was great. There was a nice pool.

Very expensive. Very slow and impersonal service. Molokai is much better than what you are exposed to to in Hotel Molokai.

While visiting Molokai, we didn't expect to find lovely dining options. Everything was great, from the tablecloths and ambiance to the excellent fresh food was top notch. A definite recommend.

Our first impression was the amazing location, secondly was the welcoming staff. A good sized menu with costs that made for a good evening and acceptable value.

We enjoyed drinks, dinner and breakfast at Hiro's in Hotel Molokai. Dining room and bar are located along the water front with views of the north side of Lana"i, the Molokai Channel and beautiful sunsets.

Had an excellent dinner on the 3 nights that we stayed on Molokai. There isn't a lot of places to eat dinner on Molokai. This is definitely one of the good ones.

The restaurant has a deep menu with steaks, seafood and appetizers. The seating is amazing, overlooking a small beach at the water.
Of course, being in a remote place in Hawaii meant prices are higher than on the mainland. We loved it!
